After catching much attention, the Australia special of SBS’ Running Man is slowly unveiling itself.
For the Australia special of Running Man, it appears that more attention has been given to the episode with the reveal of the guest list. So far, Rain, Kim Woo Bin, and Lee Jong Suk have been named.
On February 19, Newsen called Kim Woo Bin’s agency, SidusHQ, who confirmed that Kim Woo Bin will be appearing in the Australia episode.
“We don’t know the exact schedule, but he will be leaving for Australia for Running Man on February 22.”
Rain has also been confirmed.
However, as Lee Jong Suk was diagnosed with swine flu on February 18, his appearance on the variety show is currently uncertain.
Lee Jong Suk’s agency, Well Made Ent told Newsen on February 19, “Lee Jong Suk was confirmed to leave for Australia on February 22, but with his recent diagnosis of swine flu on February 18, the situation has changed. Right now, nothing is confirmed. We have to see what happens. Right now, we’re mainly focusing on the recovery of his healthy and rest.”
Running Man is a representative Hallyu variety program with its popularity in Asian countries. The program has filmed in Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Macau, and China, earning hot responses from the fans.
Stepping away from Asia, Running Man is already attracting much attention to what will happen in Australia with Rain and Kim Woo Bin.
Meanwhile, the Australia episode will air in March.

Rain will hold a showcase to promote his sixth studio alum “Rain Effect” in Beijing next month.
Cube Entertainment announced Wednesday that he will hold the “2014 Rain Effect Show in Beijing” at the National Gymnasium on March 28. The singer’s agency said that they are expecting around 9,000 fans to attend.
This will be Rain’s first official album showcase since its release on Jan. 2. The singer, Jung Ji-hoon, topped domestic charts with “30 Sexy” and “La Song” from the album.
The tickets for Rain’s showcase will open worldwide on Feb. 28.
“Rain Effect” is his first album since his discharge for compulsory national military service last year. The singer and actor, who is dating actress Kim Tae-hee, has been actively promoting his new album and filming the Hollywood movie “The Prince.” He has also been cast as a guest star for the popular variety program “Running Man” that will be shot in Australia later this month.

As you all may recall, people on the streets of Cheongju were thrilled out of their minds when Rain showed up there, completely out in the open, for one of KBS’s (Korean Broadcasting System) most popular entertainment news segments, a “guerrilla” interview.
Many celebrities have made their happy fans even happier by participating in this segment over the years, some of them multiple times, and Rain is no exception.
KBS World, KBS TV’s international broadcasting service, usually re-releases these “guerrilla” interviews several weeks after the original air date on Korean television with English subtitles and calls them “star dates.” These Star Dates are not only broadcast across the world in multiple countries, but are also available on KBS World’s YouTube channel.
Rain is no stranger to Star Dates. He’s had many, and if we’re lucky, his stint with KBS in Cheongju will become another one.
In anticipation of this, let’s revisit some of Rain’s Star Dates from the past four years.

December 2010. This was on the streets of Myeong-dong, during a lunar eclipse and the holiday season, and within days, Rain would guest-appear at the JYP Nation Teamplay concert on Christmas Eve AND his own ADIEU2010! With Rain concerts on New Year’s Eve. The absolute cutest thing that happened was a mom handing her baby girl to Rain and the infant having a Hold On Dude, I Don’t Know You response. kekeke 😛 ^@@^
September 2011. This was during Rain’s final concert stop, in Seoul, during the Rain The BEST Show Korea Tour. He would be enlisting in the ROK Army a mere three weeks later. ^@@^
June 2010. KBS came along during Rain’s trip to Los Angeles as a 2010 MTV Movie Awards nominee. My birthday wish came true when Rain won the award live on national television. The very first face of MTV Biggest Baddest Badassery hailed from South Korea, yussssss! ^@@^

Yes, Clouds. You read that right. Rain’s 2013 Holiday Memories Binder is finally on its way to Rain. I shipped it out today, via FedEx’s World Shipping Center near Hartsfield International Airport. The package’s delivery has been prearranged with Rainy Entertainment. So, you may rest assured that it will be placed in Rain’s hot and not-so-little hands as soon as he stops moving long enough to receive it. 🙂
Below is a slideshow of the contents of the binder, so that all of you (especially its contributors) can enjoy them as well. All of the pages were printed out in color and on high quality photo paper. The photos look terrific, but in real life the binder looks SO much more impressive. It really does. I think Rain will be pleased.

As many of you have already heard—and now it’s been confirmed by the man himself—Rain will be in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on March 29 to participate in the Twin Towers @live 2014 annual free concert at the 100-acre city-within-a-city, the Kuala Lumpur City Center (KLCC, the location of the two tallest twin buildings in the world, the Petronas Towers).
Just like last year, this concert will feature some of the biggest names in international and local entertainment and lasts for two days, March 28 and 29, from 5 PM to 2 AM. International superstar and vocal powerhouse Christina Aguilera and award-winning British singer Craig David will also be there.
There is also a contest for five fans to win a pair of passes to enjoy the free concert from the FanZone closest to the concert stage. According to the TwinTowersAlive Facebook page:
“FanZone passes cannot be bought and are only redeemable via purchase of PETRONAS Motorsports merchandise, info on that will be out in March. FanZone passes can also be won through contests organized by us and our fellow partners and sponsors. We’ll share all the info on contests on our page, so stay tuned to us for the latest info.”

Mentor, hyung, teacher….call him what you will. One thing is for sure, Rain’s love of the arts is deep and strong. As MBLAQ leader Yang Seung Ho points out, it is most likely because of Rain that the dance club now in place at his high school was due to Rain’s dedicated involvement. ^^

MBLAQ’s leader, Seung Ho, talked about Rain when discussing his previous high school days.
On February 15’s SBS Power FM “2 O’Clock Escape Cultwo Show,” MBLAQ’s Seung Ho, Thunder, and musical actor Im Ki Hong made an appearance the radio’s corner, “Talking About with a Star.”
On this day’s radio show, the MBLAQ leader talked about his high school experience when asked about how he had joined a dance club. Seung Ho responded, “Back then there was no such thing as a car black box, but the name of our dance club (black box) was inherited from the seniors who had been a part of the club before us.”
Furthermore, when asked if Rain had created the dance club, the MBLAQ leader said, “Rain was a part of the first dance group. He was the only one back then who danced at the school’s festival. That’s how the dance club continued to be passed down.”
When on the point of fellow classmates, Seung Ho admitted, “I was friendly to younger female students, but strict with the younger male students. It was an arts high school, so the seniority status was very strict. I had no other choice because I had to be act as the senior position.”
MBLAQ’s Seung Ho, Thunder, and musical actor Im Ki Hong will star together in the upcoming musical, “Moon Night.” Fans can watch the three on stage from February 21 to March 23.

The Inkigayo stage was not going to close 2004 without one more visit from Rain.
Clearly exhausted, but still full of presence and charisma, Rain brought a second single from his It’s Raining album to the stage with I Do on December 26, 2004. It was definitely less fierce than the in-your-face intensity of It’s Raining, but is filled with such delicious sweetness, thus proving that Rain was (and still is) so well-rounded musically.
I Do has perhaps some of his smoothest vocals ever, and it was the perfect second single to counter the aggressive It’s Raining. It also proved to be an Inkigayo winner. (Like we had any doubt!!^^)
Rain’s deep husky tones are always a mainstay in this song, but I have to say that his voice seems to take on an even richer dimension in his exhaustion. Ever the consummate showman, Rain delivers a sweet performance of this very sweet song. He is playful, engaging, and bursting with charm.
Although I have seen the dance break to this song have more pop in other performances (including the absolutely outrageous live versions at Zepp Tokyo), he still manages to keep it tight, perfectly synced, and gathers energy and momentum from what I believe are the loving fan chants from his Clouds. I love how he grabs that hat, loses it, but somehow manages to get hat back in hand in order to get it onto his head to finish the break. And he does it with a chuckle and smile!
That well-oiled machine of a dance crew was on top of that!
Yes, that’s incredible teamwork and synergy. ^^
I also came across an additional video announcing his win with I Do, his acceptance of the award, and a final offering of the song as the show closes.
He is ever-so humble, endearing, and sweet. I have to ask, does anyone else fight the urge to hug him to bits like I do??!

Looks like KEJ fell head over heels in love with Rain’s look and fashion when he was headed to the States to conduct movie business via Incheon Airport back on January 26! I certainly don’t blame them. He was looked sharp as a tack that day, don’t you agree? As I understand it, his feature spread inside is mostly about his work on Bruce Willis movie-in-production The Prince and his music comeback after four years away.
The issue has just been released today, February 15, in Japan, and can be ordered from online sites such as Fujisan, and HMV Online, and of course from Amazon Japan.
Those of you who have been living in the Rainiverse for a long time know that Rain is no stranger to KEJ. He’s been on several KEJ covers throughout his career, and when he wasn’t covering the magazines, he was inside them.

As you all know by now, Rain and best buddy BbaekGa are in the States for a magazine photo shoot, which isn’t that unusual, really.
Some projects that we know BbaekGa professionally photographed in the past are:
Rain’s 24Hours “The Day” (2008) on Rain’s IPTV channel, Rain’s Nikon images in the Philippines(2010), and Rain’s Esquire spread in Paris (2011).
Two things I’ve got to say or I’ll bust. 🙂
1) Good lord, Terri, I never thought we’d hear Rain’s SKT W-Phone jingle/song again in our lives. W-W-hot! ㅋㅋㅋ
2) A funny story was told by one of the fans who got the pictures and footage we’ve seen, @ElmoKwon. Apparently, once they got outside, BbaekGa was surrounded by fans who wanted autographs and pictures (he’s not just a great photographer, he a well-known member of longtime K-Pop group Koyote), and Rain shouted “The car is here!” a tad bit impatiently. ROFL! Now, now, Rain dear. Don’t be mad. You know you’ve got Clouds running amok every time you even look like you’re about the leave the house.^^ 😛 ♥

This means that all paid members (newbies and 8th Cloud) have been leveled up to 9th, so those of you who have already turned in your application and made your payment by the deadline should have pink cloud icons beside your name on Rain’s Official Fan Community in Korea.

Chu Sa Rang is definitely not an easy girl to please!
On the February 9 episode of KBS 2TV‘s “Superman Returns,” Chu Sung Hoon and his daughter paid a visit to world star Rain‘s practice room and went out for a meal together.
The singer had prepared a Minnie Mouse plushie for the young Mickey Mouse lover, and confessed that he is a big fan of her. He also made a request to turn down the volume of music as Chu Sa Rang entered the building, showing his affection for the adorable girl.
As the three moved to a restaurant, Rain revealed he reserved a table at a Korean restaurant, as he heard Chu Sa Rang loves seaweed and Korean food. He then handed her lunch boxes filled with grapes and seaweed, which are some of her favorite snacks.
However, Chu Sa Rang did not open up her heart that easily. As she turned away from the handsome singer and kept acting shy, Rain could not help but say, “I have never met a girl this difficult to approach.”

As I understand it, Rain waved, said “Hi”, and graciously gave these Chinese NYC Clouds some precious autograph time while on the way to his transportation. He also turned on the inside car lights so he could be seen and said goodbye, according to @ElmoKwon. Cool.
