This quick entertainment hot clip involves an MCD (Mnet) survey of the public and a No. 1 ranking, Lee Joon & UEE on Strong Heart, and a lot of people who are hot for Rain… but that’s about all we’ve got at the moment. And who cares? The Ji-Hoon footage they’ve included in this thing is worth the price of admission alone. We can pretty much guess what’s being said (omg how can anyone be so hot, et cetera). 😀

[Cloud USA] We were terribly worried about this man the first of the year and on into Spring. The January 22nd surgery to remove his large benign brain tumor happened right in the middle of Rain’s Legend of Rainism Tour commitments in Japan.
» Some previous posts about Rain’s good friend rapper Bbaek-Ga, formerly of Koyote, are HERE and HERE.
But as the year went on, only good news came through the grapevine: him leaving the hospital, being partially released by his doctors later, returning to work as a photographer, and even joining Rain and Crew on the ZEPP Tour circuit and dancing on stage…! 🙂
Here is Bbaek-Ga’s latest video message and, needless to say, as quick and simple as it is, we’re very happy to see it.

After ‘My Girl’ song with a little girl and her mother, Rain commented:

1:21~1:26
I’ve been controlling my condition for my concert. I had a nice dream last night.
1:31~1:52
At that time when my Hollywood movie was filmed on location in Europe, smokey eyes makeup was in fashion there. I tried to apply its unique and androgynous image into my album jacket, wearing false eyelashes that are long.
1:56~2:15
I chose small concert venues, because I wanted to come to my fans myself. I’m thinking I’ll perform as if I date with my best friends.
2:16~2:35
Saitama concert may be a splendid and variety show on a large scale like before.
6:14~6:16
Hello, everyone. This is Rain.
6:28~6:59
Up until earlier this year, I had showed a concert which has a dazzling array of performing, but I wanted to meet my fans on a smaller scale than before through this Zepp tour. So I’m going to play a concert tour, traveling Japan’s cities such as Osaka, Tokyo and so on.
I’ll have a concert tour where my fans can feel comfortable as if they are with their best friend.
7:06~7:31
My dress designer and I make my own stage clothes. I try to wear stage clothes suitable for each of my songs, and many fashion journals are helpful in making the clothes. I think clothes are important for every stage, and I’m trying to set the trend.
7:43~7;59
I think I should feel cozy and have confidence, when I wear clothes. I’m dressed like this, because these clothes I’m now wearing are very comfortable and I like the color.
8:11~8:23
White is just one of my favorite colors rather than a concept. My favorite colors are black and white, so I tend to use those colors in preference to others. Today, I didn’t intend to wear white color clothes, I just happened to wear these.
8:36~9:05
I like Adidas & Cloche style, and designer Yohij Yamamoto. Whenever I walk around the Harajuku area of Japan, all the multi-shops without exception seem to be great since most designers in that country are extremely talented.
9:15~
I think New York city is at the center of fashion in USA, and each of countries in Europe also has its number one in fashion, while the youths’ fashion style of Tokyo to spread all over the country is number one in Japan.

0:05~0:13
I love all the cultures of Japan, particularly, I like its food culture. So, every time I visit Japan, I have some expectations of something good.
0:14~0:33
On arriving in Japan, I go out for eating sushi or ramen. Each dish seems to be surprising and delightful at any conveyor-belt sushi restaurant.
0:44~1:18
I like each of the songs on my album, because I gave to finish my work with all matters of the heart for one year. I think Japanese fans will like ‘Love Song’ most among the songs since it seems to appeal to that country’s sentiment.
5:54~6:13
Hello, everyone, this is Rain.
It’s been so long.
I’ve finally come to perform my Zepp tour through my album and concert, and Saitama concert will be held soon after.
I hope to get a lot of support from you.
Please be healthy and happy, and give F TV your interest and support.
Thank you, and I love you.
Well… seeing as we » already gave you the Rain/JYP dance battle and Rain’s Trampoline dance, we might as well hand over what went in between the two: Rainism. And a nice MBC performance it was, indeed.

Rain’s 2010 Love Tour Saitama Stop, July 17 and 18

MBLAQ started the show with “Oh Yeah.” The first night they were all in black and the second night white. Each introduced himself in Japanese after the song, but in the first night Thunder probably forgot some of his Japanese words. He gave a shy smile and said something in English (sorry I did not pay attention to what he said). They then performed “Y.”
The Saitama concert stage set up was quite “special.” There were 2 stages. The main, large stage had 2 levels like the ZEPP Tour, but there was a live band this time. There was a smaller stage a few meters in front of the main stage. The stages were not connected by a T, so during the performance our prince had to walk down the stairs from the main stage and walk up the stairs of the small stage quite often. (Poor prince, it must be hard work, but it was also an opportunity for our prince to show off! For a number of times in the second night, he “marched” from the main stage to the small stage in big steps like a boy scout leader. He looked so young, so playful, so cheerful – the most handsome, refreshing boy scout leader!)
Music started. A large cube with the [letter] R came down slowly from the ceiling and landed in the centre of the large stage. The sides opened and there stood our prince. He wore white suit with black collars, with a red hanky in the top left pocket. Black Tee, black trousers and black boot. He was so handsome and so elegant. Yet when he performed “Hip Song” he was at the same time so sexy and so powerful.
The run down of the concert was:

[Cloud USA] As we understand it, the temperatures in summer in Japan can go above 30° Centigrade (86° Fahrenheit), so when it is break time on the Domanja/Runaway/Fugitive set, the cast runs for ice packs or some kind of shade.
With high action chase scenes, and poor Rain having to wear all black as “Ji-Woo” at times (a color that holds in heat), we can’t help but feel sorry for him! But it is said that our Ji-Hoon and his cast mates never lose their composure or their smiles, and are taking it all like champs.
We aren’t surprised. 🙂

[Cloud USA] As expected, Rain not only finished up his 2010 Love Tour at Japan’s Saitama Super Arena this past weekend, the 17th and the 18th… it’s been reported that more than 200 fans from that concert audience were used as extras for capturing Runaway footage after the Saturday show.
From the production team: “Rain’s Japanese fans wanted to directly support him in Runaway, which is his first drama in 5 years, so a special event to choose more than 200 among the concert audiences as extras, was done.”
The filming on the 17th took place on a main street near the arena, with the fan extras acting as passers-by around Rain and Daniel Henney.
The 2010 Rain Summer Love Tour (which began on June 22 and included six ZEPP venues and Saitama), a rousing success, is now over. As we understand it, Runaway filming will continue on in Japan for the next two weeks, at which time Rain will return to Korea.

Rain still Making The World Bright…?
•July 23, 2010 • 1 Comment[Cloud USA] Back in February of 2009, J.Tune Entertainment announced that Rain was starting a foundation in Korea called Creating A Bright New World (or Making the World Bright), to provide free Lasik surgery for those who couldn’t afford it.
Partnering with Rain in this venture was Eye&Eye Vision, in Gangnam. Two applicants per month were selected, and all members of The Cloud, their relatives, or persons recommended by the official fan club were eligible to apply at Rain’s official website.
Here recently, this project has gotten new attention on the Internet and caught our attention again as well. And from the looks of things (fresh, up-to-date notices on the site), the project may still be ongoing.
We say bravo.
