This concert was live-streamed on YY.com, and as we watched the show we were also encouraged to send as many messages of support to Rain that we could post. The organizer promised that if the number of fan support messages reached over 500,000 during the concert, the Powers That Be would surprise Rain by lighting up one of the tallest buildings in the city with his name.

Chinese-speaking Clouds and fans who participated around the world reached that goal and surpassed it in record time! And, as promised, the organizer threw the switch and lit the skyscraper up. So proud! 🙂 By the end of the Shanghai concert, the total support messages for Rain were well over 625,000. Woot!

It still stuns me that The Squall Shanghai was live-streamed at all. I mean, what were the odds of that? THANK YOU, Rain and Powers That Be in Shanghai!

Screenshot_2015-12-24-08-22-04_RainVLiveMerryXmasCUSAI can’t for the life of me remember exactly what time it was, but it was early (after 6-ish? towards 7-ish?) when a notification chime went off on my phone. Something in my fuzzy brain thought Is that my V-app, maybe? as I reached over and grabbed it.

It was indeed, and it was Rain, so I engaged.

The sounds of a huge crowd screaming in the background cleared the sleep out of my eyes with a quickness. Rain was talking to us from backstage. And then he was walking with us towards the stage. OMG!! Was this really happening?

Next thing we knew, Rain had handed his phone to someone and we had a backstage pass as he and his Fabulous Ones took the stage as guests at PSY’s concert. Jiminy Crickets! For real??? The crowd went wild!

When their performance was over and he reclaimed his phone, he looked as cool as a cucumber even after expending all of that energy. His broadcast connection was unstable the entire time (hence my blurry screenshots), but I couldn’t have cared less. It still hasn’t hit me yet that I actually got to watch Rain perform live, in a fashion.

Usually I sleep like the dead, so I can honestly say I got plum lucky. *thanking the Hallyu gods* Yes, Hoonie, absolutely long time no see (“오랜만”) on the V-app. Merry Christmas to you, too. 🙂

I’m feeling really stupidly happy and out-of-control fan-girly right now, y’all. Is anybody else? What the heck! ❤

Rain’s domestic and global fans came together to support his Seoul concerts and follow his lead in providing for the less fortunate. Time was short, but everything went off without a hitch. *happy* 🙂

Terri and I usually order rice garlands to represent the community, but this time we switched up and purchased briquette wreaths instead because the winters in South Korea are frigid and it’s so awful to be cold. Because of the donations we received, we were able to get 2 wreaths along with 80 briquettes to help heat people’s homes. ❤

RainVLiveChannel_CUSASoooo… download the V app from the App Store or Google Play, subscribe to Rain’s new channel, and watch his live videos like the one below, where CDL is becoming R.A.I.N. Company. The celebs can even real-time chat with fans if they choose to. Too cool.

I haven’t tried to download it to my own phone yet, so I don’t know the particulars or even if I can. But I’m urging everyone to give it a shot if you haven’t already. Rain needs some support over there. So, go! Go now! 🙂 ^@@^

It’s really nice that a kind soul has re-upped Rain’s first full VLive.tv show (12/3, not subbed) so that everyone can see this very candid, personal Rain, but I’m hoping that the vast majority of fans make sure to watch his shows on his channel so that he gets credit for every single view. Hi there, dear Clouds and Rain fans. 🙂

I hope everyone who celebrates the Thanksgiving holiday has their menus out or their bags packed because it’s right around the corner!

As some of you read last week on Rain’s official Cloud Fan Community in South Korea, in celebration of Rain’s return to the concert tour stage in Seoul after many years, The Cloud is organizing rice garland donations to be displayed at The Squall World Tour 2015 – 2016 concert stop in Seoul on Friday, December 11.

Just as in the past, they’ve chosen garland company Dreame Co. as the go-to place for fan clubs and individuals to order rice garlands to be displayed outside of the concert venue. The rice included with each garland will be donated to charities that feed hungry children and the less fortunate, in Rain’s name.

We have already contacted the overseas fan coordinator and plan to order Cloud USA garland(s) so that English-speakers and North American fans can be represented in Korea.
