I can’t for the life of me remember exactly what time it was, but it was early (after 6-ish? towards 7-ish?) when a notification chime went off on my phone. Something in my fuzzy brain thought Is that my V-app, maybe? as I reached over and grabbed it.
It was indeed, and it was Rain, so I engaged.
The sounds of a huge crowd screaming in the background cleared the sleep out of my eyes with a quickness. Rain was talking to us from backstage. And then he was walking with us towards the stage. OMG!! Was this really happening?
Next thing we knew, Rain had handed his phone to someone and we had a backstage pass as he and his Fabulous Ones took the stage as guests at PSY’s concert. Jiminy Crickets! For real??? The crowd went wild!

When their performance was over and he reclaimed his phone, he looked as cool as a cucumber even after expending all of that energy. His broadcast connection was unstable the entire time (hence my blurry screenshots), but I couldn’t have cared less. It still hasn’t hit me yet that I actually got to watch Rain perform live, in a fashion.
Usually I sleep like the dead, so I can honestly say I got plum lucky. *thanking the Hallyu gods* Yes, Hoonie, absolutely long time no see (“오랜만”) on the V-app. Merry Christmas to you, too. 🙂
