Though the location of these fan cams was not identified by the uploader, looks to me by the appearance of the venue that these were at Rain The Best Show 2011 Jeju.
They were also taken from a different angle than many of the others. Interesting! If these cams aren’t from Jeju, please do let us know so that I can correct this post. Thanks much, and enjoy!
Just an FYI: In the first one, you hear Rain say ์ด๋ฆ์ด (i-leum-i / pronounced “ee-lum-ee”) several times, which is a shortened, very casual way of asking someone their name. ์ด๋ฆ์ด? “The name?” A longer but still casual version is ์ด๋ฆ์ด๋ญ์ด์์ ? (ileumi-mweo-iyeyo), which literally translates to name-what-it is. “What’s your name?” There are many other ways to ask someone’s name in Korean, though. This is only one of them!

The worldโs largest hotel booking site โHotels.com (www.hotels.com)โ reported on September 7 that they had conducted the survey with 400 females consisting with 100 females from each age groups from twenties to fifties to find out the most wanted Hallyu star for

โHotels.comโ is the hotel booking site that has the list of 140,000 hotels all around the world and more than two million usersโ reviews.

Translation: 2011-9-13 Tokyo Charity Concert Fan Account
Read some fan accounts in Chinese and I hope I have given the proper credits to the authors.
โขย Our prince had an ipad to show his various photos. He had a long perm probably back in 2005. Obviously he wasnโt impressed by the hair style himself so he flipped through the photos quickly. He threw away all the towels he used to wipe his sweat, and gave away many bottles of water which he didnโt drink. Fans shouted to him as he drank water from a bottle, so he spitted the water back to the bottle and was ready to give it to fans. He said jokingly afterwards he couldnโt give this away, he has to drink it.
โขย Our prince asked fans if they like him with long or short hair, both got equally loud cheers. He said in that case in future he will split his hair in the middle, with one side having long hair and one side having short hair. He will turn his head left and right as he sing, this way everyone will be satisfied.
โขย Our prince talked about the three types of women whom he feels are the most beautiful. Third place is someone who is compassionate and knows how to take care of others. Second place is women who have flagrant smell, those who use floral flagrance perfume. First place is someone who is cheerful, who always wears a smile. He said usually he would not eat before the concert, but today he was bloated โ he had a bowl of ramen and he ate his favourite food sushi. He also likes hot spring bath and hot spring eggs. He would have draft beer after the concert.
โขย When asked when he feels he looks most handsome, our prince replied: first when he is on stage, second when he is dancing. The third is after he takes a shower. These are the three moments when he thinks heโs most cool and handsome. He said he has a big mirror in his bathroom, he can see his whole body and every time after he has a shower he will spend a lot to time looking at the mirror. When he sees his own body he canโt help but think he looks awesome.
โขย Basically the whole floor was standing all the time. Itโs very dynamic and Japanese fans screamed โObbaโ. The only regret was our prince sang too few songs. He has charisma on stage and he is humorous, very naturally humorous and you had to laugh with him. He read a letter in Japanese. He said he will hold a concert in Japan when he comes out after two years, and he pretended to cry in an exaggerated way. After he read the letter he knelt down deeply on the stage โ probably giving the biggest Korean bow to the fans.
โขย The gist of his letter: Time flies, we know each other for 10 years already. I want to thank you for the support you give me in these 10 years. You have faith in me over the years, I will work even harder to be the Rain that you look forward to. I have to go into the army soon, but I will continue to learn many things in these two years. I hope when I appear again, I could show you all an even smarter Rain.

Account from my friend in Japan:
The concert was awesome!!
He enjoyed talking to us and made us laugh.
He was very cute and very handsome!!
He sang 8~10 songs.
I didn’t expect the concert was so good but…he showed us his love and respect and it was moved to tears…
He was always in good mood and speaks lots of Japanese (I can tell that he was practicing it very hard).
He read a letter with all his thanks to his Japanese fan (in Japanese) and bowed respectfully to us.
Tears fell down from my eyes…
I cried “Thank you and I love you!”
We also had encore just like his “Best Show”
When his car came out to the outside of the venue after the concert, he got out from the car, walk through in front of his fan and waved his hand.
Sep.13 is unforgettable day for all of Japanese fan and me…
This week’s episode of KBS World’s K-Wave Station features Men In MBLAQ, the Boys’ first independent concert (from August 20 this past summer), in its K-Wave News segment, and the visuals are fantastic. A brief clip or two of MBLAQ in the training room with Rain, from last fall, was included as well as some MImB interview time. We really like the way KBS showed how diverse MBLAQ’s fan base has become. A+s are from many different parts of the world and come in all colors!
The Boys’ success is nicely showcased, and begins around the 8:10 minute marker.
Also included in this week’s episode are stories on T-ara, the new movie “Champ”, actress Han JiMin, and other interesting topics. (Wah, what is this? A quick, unassuming snippet of the “Rainism” music video at the beginning of T-ara’s K-Pop No. 1 segment. Thanks, KBS! ๐ )
Please enjoy, everyone.

Rain wasn’t able to get any time off or head home for the Chuseok holiday, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t get to have fun. The world star recently heated up the Budokan concert hall in Japan for his concert and spent his holiday break with thousands of fans.
On September 13, Rain tweeted, “Whether it’s the holidays or everyone’s on break, I’m at work no matter what. These pictures are from the Budokan hehehe.”
Dressed in a simple black sleeveless shirt and sunglasses, Rain is surrounded by several backdancers on stage. The thousands of fans that are lined up behind him show just how hot the concert atmosphere truly was.
Netizens commented, “I worked during the holidays as well,” “Your concert was amazing, everything was fun,” and “I can feel your aura from the photo!”

This week is a busy one for the Man. He’s in Japan for a very worthy cause, his televised Live Charity Concerts, the proceeds of which will benefit the earthquake/tsunami victims in that country. Today’s shows are in Tokyo at Budokan Stadium, and begin at 3 pm and 7 pm. (The first show will be in full swing by the time of this posting.) Thursday’s shows will be in Kobe at World Memorial Hall. And of course, this Saturday is Best Gwangju and Sunday is Best Daejeon.
Four concerts in seven days! But no worriesโRain lives for the stage and the stage lives for him. He loves it up there. And if he couldn’t handle the schedule, he wouldn’t have set it up this way.
Have a GREAT week with your fans, JiHoon.
Please keep your thoughts of health and strength going to him full force, Clouds!

Please see the information below posted by huhuhuhu on The Cloud English Talk Board today. It is not an official Korean Cloud project, but rather a really important charity project with our friends at Good Neighbors, to bring joy to underprivileged children and for global Rain fans to come together on Rain’s behalf, as we have before. The time frame is very tight, but since when has that scared away a Cloud? We’ve already proven what big hearts we have and that we can do anything we put our minds to. So please, please participate.
Thanks to huhuhuhu for her part in putting this together and bringing it to English-speakers and global fans.
It’s time for World Clouds to unite once again. Please spread the word far and wide, and do your best. Every little bit counts in the Rain world. Thanks, everyone!
Some of you may have remembered that we made a donation in the name of Rainโs World Clouds to Good Neighbors in September 2010 to commemorate Rainโs return to the TV screen via โThe Fugitive, Plan Bโ. There had been positive media report about this.
What you may not know was that we had also invited 370 children from Good Neighbors various centres to the Adieu concert in Seoul at the end of 2010. We did that quietly at that time as time was short and people had just made their contributions.
After talking about his friendship with Rain on last week’s episode of “Knee-Drop Guru,” Jang Geun Suk has set out to prove his relationship with the world star in the form of fun photos taken together.
Jang Geun Suk updated his Twitter on September 11 with the post, “I met a man. This is raw liver!!”
The “raw liver” statement comes from his “Knee-Drop Guru” episode where he revealed that the only thing he has over Rain is his youthful liver.
Jang Geun Suk looks clearly excited to be hanging out with Rain, as exemplified by the wide smile plastered on his face in each of the photos. The older fans that are posing in the window behind them also adds a comedic effect to the photos.
Fans commented, “I’m so jealous of you guys!” “Can I have some drinks with you too?” and “Jang Geun Suk seriously has the best network of friends.”
Do enjoy this, one of Rain’s finest “September 12” performances to date, on Kim Jung-Eun’s Chocolate program on SBS, back during his 2008 Rainism era. His pipes were so clear and pure here that I’m honestly not sure if he’s ever sang the song better. He opened his mouth, and this golden sound came tumbling out and into that live mic, and this was cemented into my mind as my favorite “September 12” of all, back when I first saw it. It still is.
And yes, I’m posting this on September 12. Haha. ๐

Oh holy goodness, everybody. You just might have to help me hold it together this episode, because right off the bat, right after the main theme, what do we hear? One of my favorite songs in the world, that up until the RAIN The Best Show 2011 Korea tour, I’ve only heard when I played the album. ย I never in my life thought I would ever see or hear Bi actually sing “The Empty Space” (์์ฌ์ด ๋น ๊ณต๊ฐ /ย Aswiun Bin Gonggan), track #10 on his second album How To Avoid The Sun, released in October 2003, anywhere at any time. What a treat, RAINY DAY using “The Empty Space” as this week’s sub-theme leading into the action. *squeeeeee*
And here is yet another treatโgetting another sample of what the band has done to “Hip Song”, how they’ve turned it grittier, harder, dirty and grimy and worthy of completely rocking out to. The original pop version makes you want to move and groove, all right, but this version makes you want to throw on some studded leather and do some major head-banging all the way to the end. The band tears it up and the song just gets down. Awesome!
We really like seeing the band up close and personal too, dear RAINY DAY. So please do that more often. Thanks. Even drummer Hyoung-Ju Ha got a nice close-up doing what he does best! (Thanks for the info on @WonderKIK, Dulcie.)
Ah, see? At minute marker 1:33, remember to throw in the head-banging. ๐
LOL at SungTak hyung‘s “Oh crap, I’m in the shot” moment at 2:05. LOL!
And so we tool along with Rain into this episode, with his magic shoes firmly on his magic feet, to snippets of “Touch Ya”, “You (make me crazy)”, and “In My Bed”. Sing it, Hoonieโwah!โwhile the Men stay strong and limber with a bit of spot conditioning while waiting for their cues. Goodness, but he is kicking the door down with “In My Bed”, isn’t he? That’s some serious rehearsing right there. โฅ
Our favorite guitarist switches instruments for “Escaping The Sun”, and soon after that we are into “Only You”โ
Whoa. Hold it right there. Pause at minute marker 5:10 or any of the next few seconds after that, because our newspaper boy is giving us a v-e-r-y nice upper lip whisker alert. Hm.
Okay, you can take it off of pause now. If you want to. ๐
(The extent of my contribution to the translation of this episode comes at 6:14, when JiHoon quickly stops the band with a familiar “Ah! Sorry-sorry-sorry, I’m sorry” (๋ฏธ์,ย ๋ฏธ์ ํด, mian, mianhae) as they launched into “You Know”. And where he is insisting something be done faster/quicker (๋นจ๋ฆฌ๋นจ๋ฆฌ! ppalli ppalli!) at 8:29. LOL)
Wow, now that Flight: Close To The Sun filming is done, his hair is starting to grow out pretty fast and he’s letting it. Not that I care either way. It looks great regardless.
After more snippets of “Fresh Woman”, “I’m Coming”, “Love Story”, and “Chajayo” (์ฐพ์์, I’m Searching/Looking) another old favorite on album three It’s Raining from October 2004, a soulful vibe starts coming from the band and you know you’re about to see the part of the episode that’s been most talked about this weekendโRain rehearsing Earth, Wind & Fire’s vintage 70s hit “September”. Ha! The band is right on the rhythm. He seems to enjoy himself tremendously and so do we! ๐
Revisiting 2007: Rain’s modeling campaign for Calvin Klein. Can you imagine walking into your friendly neighborhood Lotte Duty Free department store, looking up, and seeingย these? It was completely accidental that I stumbled over this little jewel this morning:ย An English-subbed version of the FULL commercial film BMW Meets Truth, starring Rain.
This extremely effective BMW advertisement was one of the first glimpses I got of Rain’s stellar acting abilities.ย I’m a real fan of the soft-sell entertainment approach, too.ย So, I gotta give kudos to BMW marketers for being bright enough to use Rain’s draw to sell their cars in Korea.
By the way, did you know that BMW has used the soft-sell, entertainment approach in other markets as well?ย Yes, they have.ย In the American market (2001-2002), they presented “The Hire” movies, a series of short films shot by famous movie directors and starring Clive Owens as “The Driver.”ย These short films were seen by 100 million viewers worldwide.ย If you’re interested, you can watch “The Hire” movies on BMWblog.com.ย My personal favorites are: The Follow, Powder Keg, Beat the Devil and Ticker.
In 2005-2006, BMW also released their BMW Audiobooks, which featured four short stories written by several of the day’s popular authors.ย You can listen to BMW’s podcasts of those four stories on BMW’s Podcast Website.ย They are also supposed to be available on iTunes for download, but I couldn’t access iTunes’ store this morning.ย So, I can’t say for sure whether they are or not.ย But you can check that out for yourself.
When you have some time, please do read about Rain’s entire BMW Meets Truth project in our Sheer Driving Pleasure: Rain meetsย BMW post.ย In the meantime, however, please enjoy the full film (in 3 parts) below, which includes the full music video of Rain’s song, “I Still Believe,” courtesy of BMW and yllarablonda on DailyMotion.com.

By now, you’ve all heardโor seenโthat when MBLAQ landed in Sรฃo Paulo, Brazil this past week, in order to judge the first KPop Cover Dance Festival of its kind there, they effectively brought a section of the airport to a standstill, caused the authorities to have to close off the street in front of their hotel, seeing as no one could drive on it for the HOARDS of A+s keeping vigil there (thumbs up, ladies and gents! ๐ ), and brought their Brazilian fandom to happy tears.
Though it had to have been a little scary at times, the Boys were as cool as cucumbers and seemed to enjoy their fans very much. They really repped for South Korea, and we are so proud of them! โฅ
As we understand it, from festival-goers on YouTube, around 400-500 fans were allowed into the event because of the small size of the place, while around 6000 more ย had to wait outside for when the Boys would come back out afterwards. Yes, I said 6000. Heavens! There was also a flashmob outside at some point, performed for the Boys as they watched from what looked like a balcony over the scene.
Overall, we think that relations between Brazil and South Korea are pretty solid after this. What a great idea! Congrats, MBLAQ!
The Mid-Autumn/Thanksgiving holiday season begins in South Korea today and lasts for three days, with Mid-Autumn Day itselfโ์ถ์ (Chuseok), originally known as ํ๊ฐ์ (Hangawi)โlanding on the 12th this year. It is a time of much gift-giving, wearing traditional hanbok, visiting family, sharing large Chuseok suppers, paying homage to one’s ancestors and symbolically introducing the newest children in the family to those ancestors.
Many people began their holiday travels to their hometowns on Friday and started the mass exodus that they are all well used to experiencing around this time.
We wish everyone who celebrates Chuseok a wonderful holiday, and a safe return home if you’re traveling. We hope that JiHoon (regardless of where he is), Mr. Jung, Hana, and the General are sharing all the love they can muster this weekend. Hugs and cheers to the Men and Women behind the Man, and to MBLAQ, as they spend time with their precious ones as well.
Please enjoy these invaluable moments with family and friends, because when it comes down to it, they are the most important things we have and the only things we truly own.

(Brief English summary by rain bird @rain-eu.)
Gagman ‘Park Seong Gwang’ said on KBS TV’s show program ‘Happy Together’ aired on the 8th that he has a special connection with singer Rain.
‘Park Seong Gwang’ said as, “In my rookie season, Rain made a glorious comeback with Rainism album, and he was waiting for his turn in the waiting room, which gagmen shared with on that particular day.
While he was gone to go on stage, my fellows and I found that some packed lunches his fans brought were stacked up on his table, so we lifted some among them.
Just then, his fans saw us and raised a hue and cry “Catch them!’ and determinedly ran after us, so we had to run for our lives.”
Behind every Cloud is a silver lining. His name is RAIN.
