Many of you already know that Rain is coming back in January with a new album that drops on 1/15. And, as if that isn’t awesome enough, he and R.A.I.N. Company are planning to distribute a special custom package for the global and domestic fans and Clouds that have been patiently supporting him since his last comeback (Rain Effect, 2014). CORRECTION: Dear readers, the children’s home that Susan Park represents and where Rain volunteered is not the Aemangwon Orphanage [애망원 유지재단] in Daegu, but a facility in Chuncheon. My apologies for any confusion! This language barrier can really throw you for a loop sometimes. It’s amazing how a letter or two in Hangul can point you in an entirely different direction.^^ Thanks for understanding. Please enjoy this new article with all new information below. ❤️

Hello, dear readers!
If I’m interpreting their story on their website correctly, the 춘천 애민보육원 [Chuncheon Aemin Nursery School], or 애민원 [Aeminwon] for underprivileged and orphaned children was established in 1951 for orphans of the Korean War (which started in 1950). Since then, the facility has grown with additional dorms and medical and educational services by leaps and bounds, and now houses children from infancy to high school. Back on 11/26, two weeks ago, Susan Park of 애민원 posted images on her Facebook page and shared that Rain recently visited the facility to donate food, bring gifts to the children, and do volunteer work there. A Seoul medical team also provided child health services like allergy screenings.
There he goes again, sharing that big heart of his. ❤

As if the new music isn’t enough, I’m really excited about Rain and Kang HoDong — one of my favorite TV show hosts — being together on the small screen again! Some of the most hilarious TV watching ever was with these two jokesters clowning around on MBC’s Golden Fishery (below), and Strong Heart, and many other variety shows during Rain’s entire career.

Hi, peeps! No I haven’t forgotten you. I’ve been weathering a crisis for the past week and a half, ugh. 😦 A blasted Windows 10 automatic update killed my laptop – – my only compter – – and it’s out for repairs, and the new desktop computer that I’ve invested in as a result disappeared between company and shipping carrier. So, instead of being back online yesterday the 2nd, I’m hoping to be back sometime Tuesday the 6th (the computer company is rushing me another desktop). Fingers crossed…
Really cool Rain news has been happening this past week, so I’m feeling quite bent out of shape and deprived, unable to share here with y’all, but it is what it is. *sigh* (Using my phone to check social media, blog comments, and interact with y’all is great, but attempting to complete any real work on it is tiring and awful. I don’t know why people do it, ugh)

I don’t know when Mr. Mysterious took this picture in relation to when he posted it (today), but I do know where it is. He’s walking along the side of the Kit and Ace performance clothing store in the neighborhood of Venice, Los Angeles, California. (Looks like somebody might have been in the mood to buy some new duds!) Kit and Ace Venice uses the side of their building for an artists’ wall, and this palm tree mural by Noah Abrams of Noah Abrams Studios was just put up this past July 2016 (and someone’s already tagged it, wouldn’t you know… *sigh*). ^@@^

How many times it made me want to shout: 23
1) OMG, look at that stage. Definitely worthy of a comeback of this magnitude! (Remember, this was not only Rain’s return to the South Korean music scene after being away for several years filming Speed Racer and Ninja Assassin, it was also his first time being completely on his own, without JYP. The song writing, the choreography, the producing, etc. were all decisions made by an independent Rain. And, it would either make or break his career. Scary times… but exciting!)
2) Nice illusion! Rain should always be wet! Haha~ And out of the tank he comes!
3) Rainism! Oh, the visuals! *squeeeeeeeeee*
4) WHAT was that sound he made at :39? *swoon*

Uh-oh, what is this? Bi is back on the market? A free agent again? Riding solo? Well, I knew it was only a matter of time. Yep, sure did, only a matter of time. Hey, I’m talking about his recent departure from Cube Entertainment. Seriously, like what did you think I was talking about? 😉 Hmm, so, looks like Bi is going to split the different sides of his career between an established agency and a one-man agency dedicated to his entertainment needs and his needs only. Could it really be?
I’ve got only one thing to say, if this will indeed be the case… How fly is that?!
Sooo, me thinking the way I think sometimes… I thought, well, if Bi is going to be partially representing himself, then there really will be no limit as to where he can offer his talented wares. He can showcase his talented self to a myriad of entertainment entities, more specifically entertainment entities in the U.S. (Good mercy, just got a chill.)
I think Clouds know by now that Dee is going to put her two cents into the mix. We all know Rain is about his music and stage performances, but where he will get the most exposure within the American mainstream the fastest and for a prolonged period of time? Yes, I will say it – the small screen. Oh, that’s not to say that he shouldn’t be on the Big Screen too, because he should.
But Rain needs to be on American televisions weekly and, of course, I’ve got ideas. You know I do.

And then promptly got distracted by something Rain was doing, which isn’t hard to do. (It was probably doggone Endless August. Sheesh.) VIPS (빕스, bibseu) is top dog of Korean steakhouses, and the commercial ads and posters that came out of this campaign were just cheek-pinching adorable. The handsomeness was blinding, folks. I don’t know what sizzled more, Rain or the steak! Even the jingle was cute — but only for the first 10 times, maybe. After that, it was like, Gaaaaaahhhh, cut that song OFF but leave the Rain visuals ON! haha~ 😉 The company did a lot of customer events, like prizes, trip giveaways and cooking classes. As a sponsor, VIPS was cool. ^@@^

11/1. Endless August actress Yang Qing (杨清Sally) posted images of herself, Rain, Victoria, and cast and crew on her Weibo this week. Her pictures were also featured in an 11/2 article about the Chinese TV drama (slated for 2017) out of Los Angeles. When Rain finished his part of the filming back on 10/22, there were supposedly about 10 days of filming left for everyone else, so seems to me the drama should be in post-production by now. ^@@^

My favorite images out of the slew of the South Korean icon we all adore, along with amazing, award-winning actress Zhang Ziyi, luxury diamond jeweler Mr. Nirav Modi himself, Angelina Ypma (Nirav Modi global president), and Resina Wog (Cheung Kong Property Holdings director). Before the Hong Kong stores, and this particular Hong Kong opening attended by Rain, there was New Delhi, Mumbai, Manhattan, and London. Mr. Modi’s ultra-rich and celebrity clients have showcased his flawless jewels on Red Carpets, as well.
