It has been brought to our attention that there seemed to be rumours that Rainy Entertainment wants to collect personal data of overseas Rain fans, in particular Europe and Latin America Rain fans.
We wish to clarify that Rainy Entertainment has never asked anybody or any fan club to collect personal data of Rain fans.
When fans or representatives of fan clubs asked to meet with Rainy Entertainment, sometimes we will entertain the request, purely for courtesy and for better communication. When fan clubs are mentioned, it is normal to show interest in the number of members such fan clubs have recruited. However, this does not imply we want to collect personal data of their members. We have not given any mandate to anyone to collect fans’ personal data on our behalf.
While we appreciate the chance to meet with fans to understand more their love and support of our artist, we hope there is no misunderstanding that we are assigning mandate for any action on our behalf with such meeting.

I remember the first time I saw the “Sad Tango” video several years ago and being absolutely enthralled with the things Rain could do with his face and with his body. I get that very same feeling watching this, watching him flip whatever switch he does in getting the job done. (His “Sad Tango” dance break is my favorite dance break to this day.) Korean company seeks to shake up U.S. theaters with ‘4-D’ effects
First came 3-D. Now comes 4-D.
A South Korean company called CJ Group, which operates Asia’s largest theater chain, has set up a laboratory near Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood to demonstrate and market what it calls 4DX. The system uses a variety of physical and sensory effects — including vibrating seats, wind blasts, scents, strobe lights and water sprays — to bring more physical reality to moviegoing.
The 4-D experience already is a hit with moviegoers in South Korea, Thailand, Mexico, Brazil and China, where CJ Group has 29 specialty theaters that regularly screen big Hollywood titles like “Avatar” and “The Avengers.”
CJ Group is close to finalizing a deal with a nationwide U.S. chain to create nearly 200 4-D theaters in the next five years, with the first ones to open later this year in Los Angeles, New York and several other major cities. The company is also opening new sites in Russia, Poland, Israel and Britain.

Rain’s official Cloud Fan Site (in Korea) has begun a casual survey. IF it’s decided to have a group event to see Rain’s new movie on a weekend when it comes out, they’d like a quick headcount so they’ll know about how many fans might want to attend. Nothing is official as of yet, but they wanted to make sure everyone who might be interested knew about the possibility. If you’d like to add yourself and/or others to the count (there is NO obligation; as I said, this is a casual count, you can change your mind later), you can add the number of persons to the comments thread HERE on The Cloud. That is all for now—only that information.
If you cannot access the paid members’ room on The Cloud above, just leave the number of persons HERE in a comment under this thread and we’ll gladly transfer the information to their thread. This is for ALL fans who are going to be in the vicinity.

When the eagle eye of Cloud USA staffer Dot Kelly caught the Gorified One and Suave SooBong in 2PMer Jang WooYoung’s new solo venture 23, Male, Single… Terri and I nearly had complete meltdowns. I mean, how SEXY are THEY. Mama needs a shot of Bailey’s Irish Cream, for real. ♥ ♥ The Men Behind the Man are doing it well, y’all, even with JiHoon in the military, even while continuing to help their little brother out with his performances there.
What an unexpected treat! This choreography is dope. Congrats to Fabulous Ones Gori and SooBong on a great showing. And thumbs up to WooYoung on his solo project.
Question: I haven’t seen Rain dancer, hyung, and 2PM choreographer Park NamYong for a good while now, since he’s been off doing his thing. I could swear I see him in this music video too, but can’t get a good shot to tell for sure. Does anyone recognize NamYong here? This choreography seems so much like his style to me…

So. When “TaeHoon” gets himself in deep, deep trouble at the air show, he’ll be one of them. So cool that they’re using the real team instead of making one up. Just as we in the States have the Thunderbirds and the Blue Angels, Canada has the Snowbirds, England has the Red Arrows, Japan has the Blue Impulse, Saudi Arabia has the Saudi Hawks, South Africa has the Silver Falcons, Australia has the Roulettes, Argentina has the Southern Cross, and so on and so forth, military air shows in South Korea are dominated by the Black Eagles. ^@@^

SONG OF THE WEEK: “Love Story… after September 12” Japanese version, Track 8 on Disc 2 of Rain’s Rainism Recollection album (2009). I always knew he’d done “Love Story” in Korean, English, Japanese, and Chinese, but I’ve never really listened to the Japanese version until now. It’s very different and yet the same great song!

The proof, as they say, is in the pudding: “Slowly”, the B-side to Rain’s first Japanese single “Sad Tango” (2006). Making love in Japanese. Close the window, no one will hear us. Don’t be afraid. Feel with your fingertips. My body’s so hot, it’s coming in waves. Yes. Stop. Yes. Release. Keep going. Keep talking to me. @__@ This on our airwaves in English would quadruple the population and then some. This at a concert, in Japanese as it is, would pretty much kill me and every fan on the spot.
