According to China Cloud, Rain looks exhausted after 8 hours filming. In Beijing airport, he reached the custom at 15:50, and his flight was 16:00, it’s really rush. Per Fans, he didn’t have much facial expression in Beijing airport. He didn’t smile or wave to fans. After he got off the car, he walked fast towards custom with his bodyguards and assistant. (poor Ji-hoon, he’s so tired).
In Shanghai airport, he still looked quiet. He only took a bunch of flowers from one fan. Then, he followed Staff to car park. Fans said they walked upstairs and downstairs intentionally, probably they didn’t want Fans to follow.
Accordingly, Rain has filmed Lotte CF from midnight to 3am at a luxury shopping center. After his arrival, he didn’t take any rest at all.

I usually cringe any time I hear Rain’s name come out of the Boys’ mouths because I never know what they’re going to say, and it usually ends up shocking the crap out of me, as expected.
But I must say that parts of this interview were painless and left me pleasantly surprised. The Boys were witty, funny, and gracious.

Seungho: The compliment that all the members did well, we heard when we finished our come back stage for ‘Y’ at Inkigayo. “If you guys keep doing it like this, then from now on, hyung won’t need to pay attention.” He said that, and somehow, it made me more anxious.
Seungho: When we finished the performance, we felt like we didn’t do as well as we could’ve, so we had the thought that we should do better on next week’s stage. When Jihoon hyung complimented us, it made us more anxious.

J: Sleep after you die.
G.O: It’s not nagging, but all the stuff that he says is all great stories. He leaves us with a lot of wise messages.
There’s many that I’ve never heard of in my life. But when I talked to 2PM or 2AM, I said, ‘our Bi hyung says this and this a lot,’ and they replied, ‘Jin Young hyung [JYP] say those too.’ Bi hyung seems like he learned a lot from Park Jin Young sunbaenim, and is probably passing on the message, so we’re very thankful. There’s no nagging lectures.
Q: Then can you tell us a memorable message?
SH: This is the most memorable for me— ‘Does a right-handed person think and lift up his spoon with his right hand? When you’re practicing, you have to concentrate on this and that, but on stage, leave your body to the music.’ But I’m left-handed.^^

Additional Report on Rain in Beijing: Last Day’s Filming, 8/10

Aug 10 – (Day 11 Filming)
In the morning, he has already prepared to go filming scene. Fans said his face looked little wan and swallow, probably he didn’t have enough rest. In fact, from 6am, he worked almost 8 hours before departure.
After the final shoot, he bowed to fans and said “thank you, thanks for these days”. Fans almost cried in front of him but tried hard to hold the tears.
He took lunch around 2pm, then rushed to airport. He didn’t have chance to change costume, just wore white shirt and dark color pants to airport, also still wore make-up. At 15:50, Rain passed airport security point, his departure time was 4pm. (it’s really rush!) Fans said he wore sandals instead (he should wear more comfortable at least)
Rain’s departure flight to Shanghai is 4pm. The estimated arrival time is 6pm.

When I knew our prince’s flight schedule to Shanghai, I decided I will just go and welcome him back to Shanghai. I only had time to buy some cherries and peaches, but I did write a note to our prince saying that I hope I could get him more food in the coming days.
There were many possible exits for our prince to come out and to get into his car. We searched the car park but could not find any clue – we didn’t see his van, we didn’t see any fenced off area etc. At the end, we did what we had done before. My car waited on 3rd level. My friend’s car waited at the 2nd level. These were the most likely areas with the shortest walking distance. While we were waiting at the reception hall our drivers were moving around the car park to look for “suspicious” targets.
There were about 20-30 fans waiting. Some time later we saw our prince’s photographer standing behind us, so we knew our prince would come out through this exit. Fans in front had flowers. I held on to my fruit bag.
Then Mr. Kim appeared. He signaled us not to take pictures. Soon after our prince walked out. He wore white shirt, black trousers and black sandals. He had a cap but no sunglasses. Our prince must be very tired, having worked the whole morning on the drama. Therefore he did not have much expression and was checking his phone most of the time. He walked very fast and fans had to run to follow him. I fell behind, watching his tall back and watching him being surrounded by people as he took the escalator up to the second level.
When I was up at the second level, our prince was already going down another escalator again to the mezzanine level. This time I decided to just stop there and watch him. It was such a funny feeling seeing him disappearing before my sight down the escalator, like he sometimes did at the end of a song in a concert. He was so quiet, so “alone” even though he was surrounded by fans. I wondered what he was thinking.
And our prince out witted all of us once again. He had taken the complicated up, down route, so before we could get back to our cars, he’s already gone.
I was not able to give him the fruits. I didn’t even try to get near him. But that’s okay. I think our prince needed some good rest, some well deserved privacy.
Welcome back to Shanghai, dear prince.

Thanks for your fan account, huhuhuhu! It’s always good to know when Rain lands safely. And good call…! I think you were absolutely right in hanging back and giving Rain some space. I’m so glad you did that. Add a two-hour flight on top of complete exhaustion, and you have one truly tired man who just needs some peace and quiet for a change. Sometimes loving someone means leaving them alone.
As excited as I am about the drama, I for one will be glad when this shoot is over, regardless of the fact that he’ll probably immediately throw himself into something else.

About 7 am, Rain arrived filming scene. He spent 30 minutes to re-shoot a scene of getting on the car. Then, he rested near the main entrance. Time in between other scenes, he kept looking at his cell phone. Before he got on the car, he smiled to fans. It seemed like a lot of action scenes were filmed, including car crash.
In the afternoon, Rain, film crew and other artists were filming on the roof. The sun was very strong. Rain sat aside and occasionally made cool blast with his hand-held fan.
Aug 10 –
Rain will leave Beijing to Shanghai around 3pm. The estimated arrival time is 5:30pm.

Dramabeans 8/9/2010 — A goodnight kiss, to be exact. Daniel Henney plays the gentle protector to Lee Na-young in the upcoming action drama Runaway, which is a character type I’ve nicknamed “The Bae Soo-bin” in my mind. Then again, it’s a familiar role for Henney as well, so maybe I should just call it The Henney.
In the drama, his character is a wealthy shipping magnate named Kai who loves Jin-yi (Lee). She in turn deliberately approaches Ji-woo (Rain) for her own goals, which remain a mystery to us.
In this scene, Kai gives Jin-yi a “loving kiss” on the forehead, although reportedly the two actors stood back and traded embarrassed laughs as soon as the “cut” notice was given by the director.
This is Lee Na-young’s first drama in six years, ever since Ireland in 2004. Daniel Henney’s last kdrama was 2006′s Spring Waltz. Both have done movies in the interim, such as Sad Dream and Dad Likes Women in her case, and My Father and X-Men Origins: Wolverine in his.
Runaway is a romantic-comedy action series created by the PD and writer of Chuno, and will air on KBS in September.

The First Day
I bought a train ticket to go to Beijing again. I was tired after a 6 hour train journey, but I went to the filming site immediately as soon as I got off the train.
When I arrived, I saw our prince waiting inside his van. I dared not look at the security manager, as if I was some kind of thief… We waited until our prince went over to the shooting scene, and followed stealthily. They had to film a chasing scene. Our prince had been running all the time. The wind blew his hair up, and I discovered that our prince had quite a high front hairline.
Our prince was so handsome. His hip, his chest, his long legs, I almost drooled. He ran very fast, as if he had wings. He ran very far too. After the shooting, he went back to his van on an electro mobile. His foot was still on the pedal and tossed his hair. He was so cool. All clouds sighed. I guessed our prince was happy to hear such complimentary noises! I was watching for a while and then I was being asked to be one of the extras. We walked back and forth as passers-by and I got to enjoy our prince’s running postures.
We were then asked to get on a car as passengers. I thought we would be able to enjoy our prince “running away” from the car. It turned out there was only Lee Jung Jun. However from the car, we could see at a good angle our prince sitting on his chair. We watched him through the window of the car. He was like a moving poster. He just stood casually and created a beautiful scene already. I love our prince!
Our prince finished his part of the car scene. He probably wanted to find some place to rest, so he walked alone in front. He saw a door and tried to open it. We noted that it was actually the door of the ATM machine of a bank. Dear prince, you needed to have a credit card to open the door! (Or it could be a locked door). Our prince used all his strength but failed to open it. He probably didn’t expect that too, so he got inside the photo gallery next to it. After a while he went to the door behind, stood there and made poses. He was S shape from any angle – such an attractive body line. He made sure we all had a good look at him before he left! Clouds touched the doors he touched, the chair he sat on and took pictures!
We waited for our prince in the hotel in the evening. He entered, carrying a big plastic bag in his hand. He held it tight as if to guard it from being snatched away. We learned later it was a full bag of snacks from Clouds. He even said “thank you” in Chinese.
The Second Day
At about 5 pm our prince went out for dinner. He wore black and flip flops. How could even his foot look so handsome!! Our prince had Japanese meal and then walked back to the hotel. Many people recognized him and claimed: “Isn’t that Rain who filmed ‘Full House’?” I was so happy hearing that, our prince was very, very well known here!
Our prince seemed more interested in sports goods as he went inside a famous shop…
The Third Day
We waited for the whole morning. In the afternoon we went to the filming site. I was chosen as one of the extras again. I told my friend if I didn’t appear in the final drama, I would cut and paste to get myself in… Today our prince was super cool and handsome. His style was the most beautiful today compared to the last few days that I had seen him. His long arms… when he opened his arms for a hug, I really wished I were the one in his arms!

These 2 days, Rain was filming in restricted indoor location. Therefore, many fans couldn’t follow him. Some fans occasionally saw him once or twice when he transferred from his car to filming scene, or few seconds during he transferred between cars.
Although some fans still waited for him at the hotel lobby, they only saw him walked in and out during dinner time.
Per rumor, Rain should leave Beijing and move to Shanghai on the 10th morning. Filming is expecting to continue through the 9th morning.

11.24. Shooting changed to a factory site. Closed to public.
16.36. Fighting scene of our prince with Lee. Magnificent. Our prince’s arm was scratched. No bleeding but still quite painful. I felt sorry for him. The factory site was very hot and dusty. We all wore masks. Today was all fighting scene. Our prince was totally wet. He had been fighting non stop… so sorry for him.
17.22. Our prince had a lunch box after 2 pm in his van, and continued shooting immediately afterwards… He was so wet he looked like he just came out from a swimming pool.
21.06. Our prince had dinner at a Korean restaurant. Fans bought lots of snacks for him and gave to his assistance at the restaurant. Our prince looked happy after a good meal. His smile was lovely. He said thank you to fans in Chinese.
When our prince got back to the hotel, fans saw him carrying the snacks himself. So happy seeing our prince guarding his snacks!

(It’s only my opinion, but I feel it was bittersweet for him to say goodbye to the B2TB comeback stage just then. I think he might have liked for it to have lasted just a little longer. Singing and dancing is where he is physically closest to his fans, after all, not to mention the beat of his music practically lives in his pulse. Thinking about having to say goodbye to writing for any length of time fills me with a terrible sadness… so I get it. But in Ji-Hoon’s case, his MTV Movie Awards journey, the 2010 ZEPP/Love Tour, Runaway filming, and so many other things demanded his presence. He had no choice but to move on. Destiny awaited.)
The Q & A session with fans was cute, with or without translation. And he did it even though he was dead tired. We can always hope that one day we’ll be afforded such time with him here in the States. Woah—! There it is, that humongous stuffed otter, fashioned after the cartoon one that supposedly copied Rain’s Golden Ab rolls. LOL! As we understand it, a fan actually made it for him.
“Rain, you will go to Hong Kong—” “Sorry, I don’t know yet.” (laughs and catcalls from the crowd) “Next year, next year.” My goodness, the fans were so orderly! Rain was sitting or kneeling thisclose to them for pictures, and they somehow managed not to totally freak out, or jump him from behind. Good Clouds!
