Our collectiveProject 도망자 (Runaway): Rain and World Clouds—One World, One Lovecongratulatory and charity banner made it outside the September 27th Runaway/Fugitive press conference at the Lotte Hotel with all the other banners and garlands, and it looked fabulous.
We hope it made Ji-Hoon proud to know that his fans, though separated from him by oceans, care enough for the needy and about his endeavors to make our voices heard.
Please stay tuned for updates concerning the physical presenting of our collective donation (nearly $9,000. US) at a Good Neighbors day care center in Seoul, which will take place tomorrow, Tuesday the 28th.
Please respect each other and respect Rain. (And don’t read this to mean that this has to be some kind of Praise Fest. Everyone, even Ji-Hoon, ticks somebody off at one time or another. We’re just saying play nice.)
And of course, don’t forget that our Cloud USA Forum is a most excellent place for Rain love, fan communication, and self-expression.
This week will be particularly Cloudy with a good chance of Rain because…
The official Fugitive: Plan B press conference in Seoul is on Monday, our collective overseas fan donation will be presented to a Good Neighbors daycare center in Rain’s name on Tuesday, and Runaway/Fugitive premieres in Asia on Wednesday night just before 10, Korean Standard Time.
From the morning of September 27th (KST), the Runaway/Fugitive press conference at the Lotte Hotel in Sogon-Dong, Seoul, as the drama is only a couple of days away from premiering.
Na-Young looked radiant (that woman has a pair of legs on her, my goodness!), the Henney looked heavenly, Director Kwak looked as if he’d won a lottery, Jung-Jin was his cute and delightful self, and Rain… ah, Rain looked every inch the handsome, proper badass. In more ways than one. 😀

Okay, ladies. Seeing as many of you are still swooning hard over this one after SEVEN days… and seeing as I haven’t been able to bring myself to take it down as Terri and I are two of the swoonies…
I’ll just add a few more from this series and we’ll all swoon just a little while longer. Thanks for your patience.

And the pièce de résistance: Now you tell me how any woman on this planet is supposed to handle Rain and Oh Ji-Ho (TaeHa, CHUNO) together. Grinning. Seriously, what kind of insanity is this? Dear lord.
(and I was crazy enough to get my own screen shot @_@)
In celebration of the fast approaching premiere of Rain’s new drama, The Fugitive: Plan B, we’re releasing our calendar wallpaper post five days earlier than usual. And why not? This wave we’re all riding in anticipation of Runaway/Fugitive is so exciting. What an amazing feeling.
It’s impossible not to be happy for Rain, and grateful to him for giving us what will surely turn out to be a fresh, fulfilling romp through the K-drama world we already love.
Lotte and the others will be added for you during the next few days, as they come available. Throughout October, we’ll be sure to add other Rain calendar wallpapers as we see them. Here’s to a great month, all…!

I’m only now realizing just how much casual banter there was here about “a second movie” and “the next film”, concerning Ninja Assassin. Huh.
I’m just sayin’.
Enjoy this MovieWeb spot as McTeigue, who looks completely tickled pink, speaks on the subject of Rain dispatching people well with his trusty weapons. Heheh.

Not only is this the Runaway/Fugitive Plan B entertainment spot aired on KBS’s YunYeGaJunGye show today… it is ALSO a glimpse behind the scenes at that elusive part in the drama teasers where Terri and I think “Ji-Woo” is acting as a backup dancer to get onstage with the ex-girlfriend. And he gets spotted… and has to fight his way out of it.
Although, whereas fight choreography is a lot like dancing, he could also simply be going over a fight without the stunt men in the picture. *squeeeee….!* *gosh, this fan-girling’s got to stop*
Anyways, this is pretty cool, so enjoy, all. 🙂
And if we haven’t said it before, Na-Young looks like she’s really going to be kicking some tail herself.

We are the Fugitive.
0:65~0:16
– “The Fugitive Plan B” that includes the first class action scenes and breathtaking sprint scenes, etc. without doubt 2010’s most anticipated drama, has finally been unveiled –
00:19~00:22
-The scene of the shooting of the drama. Is Rain dancing on the stage?-
00:30
-The action scenes are being performed in a very convincing way surpassing the level of hollywood –
00:40
– Even the crew is surprised by the actions of Rain –
00:42
Q: Why don’t you use any stand-in for the action scenes?
Rain : I think I should do all my own stunts unless there is any danger. In any case, that’s a job for me to do because I’ve had a rehearsal for the scenes.
0:54
– Rain is seen jumping over the car. Then, he can’t get on his legs as if he is hurt –
1:07
Rain : Just kidding!
Director : Phew! What a relief! Scared the h-e-ll out of me.
1:12
-The two are performing action and fighting scenes with high level of difficulty on the truck speeding up –
1:20
Great!
1:23
Rain : Lee Na Young did all her own action scenes without any help from the stunt.
1:26
Lee Na Young : There seemed to be a reason for selecting me as one of the cast for the drama. Because I am strong. (laughing)
1:41
– Lee Na Young has turned over a new action star since she performed action scenes –
1:53
– Please be gentle next time (the stunt man) –
1:56
– It all becomes an intense cat-and-mouse game between the two, based in Asia’s 7 cities –
2:07~2:15
Q : Could you pick one memorable scene from the drama?
Lee Jung Jin : I can only remember Rain’s back, cause I’m continuously [in] back of him.
2:16
– Rain is nicely jumping over the fence, while Lee Jung Jin is terrible –
2:30
Lee Jung Jin : The heat is killing me as the lining of this leather jacket is 100% wool.
2:38
Rain : I’d like to wear the jacket.
2:41
Lee Jung Jin : You may keep this.
Rain : It’s not mine.
2:47
Lee Jung Jin : This is the way to avoid the heat.
2:51
– Rain who lays along because he feels very hot and tired –
03:00
– Starting all over again. They keep shooting the drama –
03:07
Rain : New action, spy, reasoning, the dramatic reversal that adds zest to the drama and so on, which are different from the way it was before, will be seen in the drama.
-The first episode of the fugitive Plan that airs every Wednesday and Thursday will be broadcast on Wednesday, September 29th, 9:55pm –
03:24
Lee Jung Jin : Ji Hoon (Rain), try to drive the car.
Rain : Where to?
Lee Jung Jin : KBS broadcasting station in Yeouido.
Enjoy these screen caps from KBS show YunYeGaJunGye‘s entertainment spot about The Fugitive: Plan B today.
These first two are right after Rain does a stunt tumble over an oncoming car and then lies there flat on his back, as if something is wrong. Only after people hover over him for a while does he effect a “just kidding!” hop to his feet.
Yes, he did scare the hell out of the director.

그래도..이제..기다리시던..도망자첫방이..성큼다가왔습니다..!!^^ㅋㅋ
수요일,목요일은 다들약속잡지마시고!!

Today’s episode is about “At Last This Week Is Coming..!!” ㅋㅋ
As I’m sure you all know, that picture was taken when we were shooting the drama at the Hong Ick University campus..^^ㅋㅋ We wore short-sleeve shirts because it was hot at that time, but now it’s chilly during the night..ㅠㅠ Although that much time has passed since then, we are unaware of the time as we’ve been engrossed in the drama shooting..ㅠㅠ
Even so, after months of eager anticipation, the day of airing the first episode of “the Fugitive Plan B” is much closer..!!^^ㅋㅋ Don’t have set a date on Wednesday and Thursday!!, just get ready for watching “the Fugitive Plan B” an hour before it begins broadcasting..!!^^ㅋㅋ
Asia broadcast 9/25. We are on the threshold of the Rain Loves ZEPP Tour, and a final dress rehearsal is the order of the day.
That “born of fire” staging, right before “Rainism”, is really something to look at, I tell you. We begin the episode by comparing the specific backstage instructions Rain gave last week with the most recent changes made in the show.
For the most part, everything seems to go well though there are a few stops and starts. Rain and Crew carefully mark steps instead of going full out, and I don’t blame them. Those stage lights are hot enough, and who wants to go through the trouble of having sweat and grime laundered out of all that costuming yet again?
One of the nicest visuals is when, during the dress-staging of “Escaping The Sun”, Rain stands in the conical rays of the laser above his head as if being showered by light from the cosmos. As if he has been transported to Earth for a special visit with those he cares for most. Very, very fitting.
Did I mention stage lights are extremely HOT? Thank goodness he stayed hydrated. (And we did get a little bit of “September 12” and “You Know” with that magnificent voice full out… gosh, how beautiful.)
A really special treat for me was the dress-commando staging of “Sad Tango” (the original MV version rather than the Latin dance version). Er, please note, any Hater-ade drinkers out there, that Rain doesn’t just use live mics in ALL of his performances, but even throughout rehearsals. He does not lip-sync, so get it straight. Thanks so much.
It’s the world-famous artist… let me, let me, let me touch ya… like this… like this…
And let’s bring it on home with final dress for “Don’t Stop”.
My prediction for next week? ZEPPing in full and hopefully some great backstage goodies in the process.
Happy Saturday, fans. Enjoy this episode! 🙂

[Cloud USA] Clouds and fans around the world haven’t lost sight of South Korean mega-icon and quadruple-threat Rain for the duration of the entire summer. Not for one second.
So to get you back up to speed, America, the man who brought Ninja Assassin‘s “Raizo” to life, became the first Korean to star in a Hollywood leading role, and the very first Korean to win an MTV Movie award for that straight-up badassery is about to continue his big badass ways. How? By portraying a very famous and infamous fictional private detective in South Korea, in what has become the most anticipated drama this year across all of Asia— The Fugitive: Plan B.
Does the title sound familiar? It should. We’ve had some really successful “Fugitives” in this country—David Janssen in the 1963 TV series, and Harrison Ford in the 1993 movie remake, innocent characters wrongly accused of a crime and on the run in an effort to clear their name.
Rain’s character “Ji-Woo” in this new romantic spy series is in a similar boat—he gets involved with a questionable suicide in Las Vegas, the dead couple’s gorgeous daughter, and a massive cache of gold bars that suddenly surfaces after being lost during the Korean War, and quickly finds himself on the wrong end of the stick. Add in a famous Japanese singer/girlfriend whose father is a secret Yakuza boss, a police detective determined to bring “Ji-Woo” to justice, and a powerful magnate who is secretly pulling everyone’s strings (played by popular Korean-American actor Daniel Henney of X-Men Origins:Wolverine and the CBS series Three Rivers), and you have a wrongly accused Ji-Woo/Rain running for his very life (when Plan A falls through, you’d better have a Plan B).
As all of the previews and teasers can attest, Rain has put his rigorous Ninja Assassin stunt training (by the incomparable 87 Eleven crew) to good use in the making of this drama.
Back in early April, Terri and I had hoped against hope that a Fugitive/Runaway role would be the one Rain chose for his next project. And here we are, wish fulfilled. I can’t believe it. The excitement overseas has taken on its own life. The wait has become excruciating. Rain is simply going to shine in this starring role.
Once a badass, always a badass.
The twenty-episode series The Fugitive: Plan B premieres Wednesday night, September 29, at 9:55 pm on KBS 2 and various networks in many countries across Asia. The only way we have to watch it here in the States, so far, is online on KSBWorldi and possibly on English hard-subtitled cable/satellite station KBS World. Please stay tuned for those air times.
From last week… back in South Korea and bringing the Runaway/Fugitive filming down to the wire.

Traveler, blogger, and fashionista Cookie recently went to Seoul and hauled home an extensive Nature Republic stash, from Pearl de Caviar cleanser to Star Lucid Moisture lipstick and everything in between. Of course, a skincare maven such as myself totally falls for posts like this, especially seeing as Terri and I haven’t found Nature Republic on any of our shopping forays here, and we really want to know whether other women are satisfied with the products, how they treat your skin, et cetera.
Check out Cookie’s reviews, posted September 14, of these “back to nature” products that Rain has so successfully endorsed HERE, on Cookie’s Beauty Blog. Or watch the video version of those reviews below, where she also talks about her experience inside one of the NR stores.
Of course, you can order Nature Republic products on the Internet on sites like DVD Heaven.

1) …bad drivers are usually enough to set you off (“What the hell…!” “Where did you get your license, dumb@ss?! *shaking fist* “People like you need to get OFF the road!” *sputtering indignation* “Stop before you kill somebody, you freak!”).
But put Ji-Hoon’s Volume 3 It’s Raining album in your CD player, turn it up loud, and…
*bad driver cuts you off*
*you wave at them with a cheerful “Howdy!” and smile in the afternoon sunshine, the whole way*
°
2) …you’ve been away from home and computer running errands all day, and while stuck at your parents’ house doing laundry the same evening, you call your best friend in a panic and BEG her to play “Love Song”—or anything Rain—over the phone.
You know she’s a Cloud when she does what you ask immediately and without question.
°
3) …you see the headline RAIN DISRUPTS PGA, and you immediately fume, “No he didn’t, he wouldn’t do that!” or FIVE REASONS YOU SHOULD AVOID RAIN, and you’re ready to twist somebody’s head off…
But then you realize they’re talking about the weather.
… met at Terri’s house across town, and had a fun Full House Fest.
We relaxed, ate pizza, hot wings, and lava cakes, and laughed and laughed as “Lee Young-Jae” continually wrote checks his butt couldn’t cash and “Han Ji-Eun” put him through the wringer.
Thanks to the KBS America DVDs in our stash, we got through three episodes before calling it a night.
One of our fondest dreams is doing the same thing, but on a larger scale, with all of you. And we will.
In the meantime… continue celebrating Ji-Hoon, making new friends, having fun with newly found Cloud-mates, and standing in the downpour that is Rain.

October is coming up fast, and with it, all of the fall/harvest celebrations and get-togethers. So… how do you combine your love of Jung Ji-Hoon and All Hallow’s Eve? With an “It’s Raining” pumpkin, of course.
Yes, a very talented person named Nam carved the masterpiece you see before you, back during Halloween 2004. Haha.
(Let us please skip the “to Halloween or not to Halloween” debates and simply enjoy the awesomeness of a pumpkin bearing Ji-Hoon’s likeness. I mean, how many times in life do you see something as cool as that? 😀 )
People in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi Province are under terrible siege by violent flooding. Little can be done to contain the weather, but a lot can be done through prayer. Please send the victims plenty, and keep the missing in your thoughts during this terrible time.
The heavy rain that battered the central region Tuesday has left two people missing, and the damage was estimated at over 7000 households.
The National Emergency Management Agency says many stranded in valleys in Gyeonggi and Gangwon Provinces were rescued but that two people who were fishing in Yeongwol County, Gangwon Province were swept away by rapid currents and are unaccounted for.
Some 3000 households in lowland areas in Seoul, 2000 in Incheon and 13-hundred homes in Gyeonggi Province are known to be inundated.
Some 12-thousand displaced people of 46-hundred houses in metropolitan Seoul took shelter at nearby schools and churches, and most of them returned home on Wednesday.
Roads submerged underwater and halted traffic in 47 areas in Seoul and Incheon, but cars are running again Wednesday on most roads except for underground ones and on Jamsu Bridge.
The National Emergency Management Agency says 4000 pieces of equipment, over 3000 firemen and 13-thousand civil servants have been mobilized for restoration work.
I… have no words! You simply must watch and listen to THIS.
Okay, I have one word. GENIUS.

ETA: From Cloud USA member divalcious—
This type of melding of 2 songs like that is called a “mash-up”. It really started in the UK years ago and it usually consists of putting 2 totally different types of songs/artists together to make 1 really cool new song. They always title it “So and so vs. so and so”.
So, the titillating Silhouette Tease he incorporated into the ZEPP Tour was a repeat from back in the Bad Guy/Full House era. Sneaky! And we certainly hope for a three-peat at some point in the future, don’t we, Clouds?
