Enjoy the music video, fans! (And we’re sure you will, especially since Ji-Woo takes full advantage of trying “to hide in plain sight” by planting some deep ones on Jin-Yi. Oh, THIS BODES WELL FOR US INDEED.) 😀
[Cloud USA] The Daily Hankook reported in their pages today that, not only will The Fugitive: Plan B be exported to the Philippines and Taiwan, but that those transactions have fetched the best show prices in history.
KBS Media, the affiliate in charge of KBS broadcasting and network sales overseas, is quoted as saying: “The Fugitive: Plan B includes gorgeous scenes that are rare even in movies and were filmed on location in Asian countries. It includes a lot of material that satisfies Asian people, such as youthful love, action, and comedy.”
It is said that The Fugitive: Plan B and the show Mary Is Staying Out Overnight have both been sold at a higher price than either sensation Full House or Daejangkum, and that is pretty serious! Rain’s Fugitive, in particular, has been sold at a price two times higher than the highest show in history to date.
(Thanks to rain bird and Rain Europe, Naver News, and the Daily Hankook for this information.)
The Rain Blogosphere was abuzz yesterday when pictures of Ji-Hoon and close friend rapper/photographer Bbaek-Ga (of Koyote fame) were spotted in the audience at the pro-baseball 5th place playoffs at Jamsil Stadium on October 5th.
There in Seoul, as here in Atlanta, the hot weather has quickly made way for the cold, so a little bundling up was in order.
It was nice to see Ji-Hoon seemingly relaxed and without a care… at least for a bit.

Tweet: Today’s Installment is about the first episode of The Fugitive: Plan B By: Ryan Moon, October 5th Image: moonbeards @Twitpic English translation: rain bird @rain-eu.
Today’s episode is about the first episode of ‘the Fugitive Plan B’, even though it’s a little late.
As an added bonus to celebrate the day when I’ve returned to Twitter [after] a long time, I’ve posted a special picture. Revealing performance is essential to make the drama a big hit, don’t you agree?? ㅋㅋ I’m sure those who saw its first episode will recognize this familiar picture.
This picture shows Rain ending up doing things just once with no NG [outtake], diving into the sea himself and gorgeously coming out of it without any stunt men before running.
Think about how hard it was to keep pressing the shutter button on that day ㅠㅠ
I was almost enamored of the star once again. (Hyung, are you looking at this now??ㅋㅋ)
The Fugitive!! I’d appreciate many of your interest in the drama.!!
Now, please look forward to pictures which will be posted on the site..!!^^
Really hope my Twitter to be crowded with visitors again..ㅠㅠ
Seeing as fandoms seem to revolve around tweets… here are some that everyone has seen hit the blogosphere lately.
And, just for the record… We see you, Ji-Hoon. 😀

HanCinema 10/5/2010 — Rain said, “I’m proud to be a Korean… Kimchi fighting!”
‘World Star’ Rain said that he is proud of the fact that he is Korean citizen.
Rain twitted in the moring of October 6th, saying, “I got phone call from one of the producers in US and we talked about new scenario. During the conversation, the producer praised Korean food. I’m so proud.”
And then he added, “I am so proud to be a Korean. Our Korea fighting! Kimchi fighting!”
Rain started twittering again since October 4th, and left a message for his fans. “How you fans doing? It’s been a long time. I couldn’t twitter because I was outside of the country. Guys please love ‘The Fugitive Plan B’. I am always being thankful to all of you.”
Right now, Rain is in KBS 2TV’s new miniseries ‘The Fugitive Plan B’.
Allkpop 10/3/2010 — MBLAQ’s Mir confirms upcoming 3rd album
In a Twitter conversation with Park Kyung Lim, the host of radio program “Starry Night”, MBLAQ’s Mir divulged on the status of their 3rd album.
Mir tweeted, “Mom ㅠㅠ I miss you ㅠㅠ ㅠㅠ”, to which Park replied, “Do not call me mom~~~~~ ㅠㅠㅠ”. Mir replied an hour later, “We are releasing the third album soon, so please save room for us ㅠㅠ.” Like a parent, Park indulgently said, “Hurry up and come~~~”
Stay tuned for more updates on their highly-anticipated comeback!
Some of this footage has been aired in other reports, and much of it is new. So please enjoy!

[rewording and asides by Stephe @CloudUSA]
~0:03:
People A : “The Fugitive Plan B” looks like a movie.
0:04 :
People B : The drama is very exciting, and its leading actor seems to perform the (action) scenes in a very convincing way.
0:05~ 0:23:
This drama is off to a good start, taking off with a 20.7 % viewing rate even when the drama was on the air for the first time. This blockbuster drama where the total number of participants is 4214, has attracted the attention of the public even before the broadcast, with being filmed on location in Asia’s 7 cities for 73 days.
0:46:
A [press conference for] “The Fugitive Plan B” was held in a hotel [in] Seoul last 27th, 2010.
0:56~1:07
The reason why this drama is in the spotlight is that it boasts all-star-studded cast such as ‘Lee Na Young’, ‘Daniel Henney’, and ‘Lee Jung Jin’, including Rain.
1:09~1:15
Not only is ‘Jung Ji Hoon’ (Rain) in his golden days now as a singer, but he is also rising as a world star, being recognized as an international actor with his appearance in Hollywood films.
1:16~1:21
Ji Woo (Rain) : This is ‘Ji Woo’ who is the Asian Pacific Korean bureau chief for the International Federation of Private Detective.
1:22~1:32
Rain : My character is a passer-by. [ROFL! ^@@^] I’m just kidding (laughs). I play the main character called ‘Ji Woo’ who is a private detective and spy.
1:36~1:38
Ji Woo (Rain) : This place (temple) is an ideal environment (because lissom ladies are not unfrequently met with [because you always run into svelte, pretty women]).
1:39~1:48
‘Ji Woo’ is a playboy who has a weakness for women of singular beauty.
The big budget action blockbuster is making its mark on the small screen.
Flick the channel to cable television for an onslaught of Jerry Bruckheimer’s CSI franchises, “Miami Medical” and other gore-ridden fare. Turn to KBS for the latest Pan-Asian, kick ass-style series, “Fugitive Plan B” starring, guess who “Ninja Assassin” star Rain.
Come December, and the spin-off of the smash hit spy thriller “IRIS” is slated to go nationwide, and next year, Chorokbaem Media the production company that pioneered the testosterone-driven period piece genre plans to release its latest CG-riddled, action-spun historical drama, a drama based on the original novel, “Jeonwoochi,” which also served as the backbone for last year’s eponymous movie.
So when did big-scale spectacles jump into bed with television staples, and are they here to stay? ….
“Fugitive Plan B” assistant director Jin Jong-yeon also acknowledged that they took the overseas market into consideration and made their drama, which features Hollywood initiates Daniel Henney and Rain, into an “Asian work.”
Employing the Red One camera, a gadget that made waves when it was used to film “The Slave Hunters,” “Fugitive Plan B” aims for what Jin calls “real action,” something that translates into minimal wire action and swift and intelligent, rather than flashy, urban fights….
» You can read writer Jean Oh’s very interesting take on the present state of the action genre in its entirety on The Korea Herald HERE.
Enjoy these beautiful ASTA TV magazine images from back in May, when Rain and the Men wrestled in the streets of MyeongDong, Seoul and laid The Smackdown on some huge University athletes. (As I recall, a few Clouds were close enough to Rain to have reached out and touched him. Wow.)
… along with four other artists, November 26th. The group that includes Super Junior and f(x) will perform on the second night, November 27th.
Lotte Duty Free has been celebrating its 30th Anniversary all year with various sales and events. (Rain, Kim Tae-Woo, and others headlined the two-night Lotte 8th Family Concert back on March 5, and as we recall, there was way too much Magic Stick and we lost a zipper in action. 🙂 )
Thanks to the fans at Soompi for providing detailed information on this upcoming 2010 Lotte 9th Family Concert.

[Well, hot dog! Was I right on, or what? I watch entirely too much TV. LOL! — ^@@^]
You know how sometimes something will take on a life of its own? And, in the process, consume your every thought as it lives?
Yes, well… it all started with » THESE pictures HERE. And then it went to » THIS fan made video HERE, set to Rain’s song “Baby Baby” off of his Eternal Rain album, which is representative of the time period (late 2007—early 2008) that Rain is living in those pictures. Interviews, photo shoots, CFs, studio recordings and the makings of: the Any Dream film, KB Card Leather Style, MiiOw Sports, the Pantech China “Rain” Phone… and a long-haired, pony-tailed concert performance from somewhere.
“Do you feel for this like me…?” (Cloud USA community member divalcious did, for sure. We were both in a right state. Along with a lot of you. *sigh*)
And we just had to have more. MORE of Rain’s long-haired, pony-tailed performance that, up to that point, we had only seen in teeny bits and pieces of fan made videos. We had to know what the heck it was.
So this Cloud went on a rabid hunt. And this is what I found: Rain’s performance at the Lotte Duty Free Family Concert in Busan, South Korea, at the BEXCO venue on February 16, 2008… and some hoopla surrounding that appearance.
Finding a full performance will take a lot more searching; I was darned lucky to have scraped this up. I don’t know why this appearance is so scarce!
Do enjoy this closer look at Rain in Busan, in early 2008, where he had finished growing Raizo’s hair out and preparing Raizo’s body for Ninja Assassin, though he still had several months left before coming to the States for the dance-off with Colbert, and going on to film NA in Berlin.
Have mercy! — Stephe ^@@^

October 6th is shaping up to be a big day, because:
According to J.Tune Creative, RAINBOX should be officially opened, AND subtitled episodes of The Fugitive: Plan B should be available for paid viewing on KBSWorldi. (There are permanent links to both sites in our blog sidebar, to your right.)
Have a great week, all.
[ *ETA 10/6: From KBSWorldi—
’The Fugitive: Plan B’ (도망자 Plan B) w/ English subtitles is now available online at http://KBSWORLDi.com/. Enjoy~
Wow. Today is turning out to be a day for Jung Ji-Hoon photo shoots, fans. And this one is lovely, indeed.
Behold, footage from Ji-Hoon’s photo shoot for the 2006 release of Japanese album Eternal Rain, set to the jazzy smooth, old school remix of “It’s Raining.” If this version of the song were a liquor, it would be either brandy or cognac, I swear.
Many of you have already seen various videos of the Cosmopolitan photo shoot that baby Rain did around his debut year.
We have marveled and gaped at how utterly contradictory he is in that footage (like a babe in the woods and yet completely aware of what his body is capable of doing. Yes, lawd.) If that footage was water, it would alternately run cold and hot. I’m just innocent… No, I’m not. I’ve never been touched… Oh, yes I have.
Something else just as obvious is how Rain developed his incredible work ethic early on. Photo shoots aren’t glamorous; like rehearsals, they are grueling and never seem to end. Yet here he is, so young but totally aware of his surroundings, listening for every instruction, always quiet and polite, never leaving his blocking, never having a “moment” or insisting on a break even to the point of mental and physical exhaustion and cramping feet.
Never letting himself get distracted—well, until he catches the camera lens trained on his bare chest several times and his shyness kicks in. Heheheh.
Enjoy this fun fan made look at some of that early Ji-Hoon/Cosmo footage. I certainly did. 😀

And if you haven’t already heard, RAINBOX should officially be open for business on October 6, this week. Maybe that is where the JiWooPIA jewelry will be up for sale? (all images from official Rainbox.co.kr)
Rain’s juniors and little brothers MBLAQ have been interviewed for the pages of » Japanese magazine Hanako (No. 980, release date October 14) this month. And as mid-October is their one-year debut anniversary, we find that quite appropriate.
According to » the Seoulove blog today, SeungHo, G.O, Joonie, Mir, and Thunder chat about their individual charms, their images versus their real selves, and their personal reactions to that awful thing called relationship break-ups.
(Look at that really nice pic of the Boys, ladies… and tell me if Joon doesn’t resemble Rain at first glance. Wow. And heck, so does G.O, actually. O.O)
Congratulations, Boys!

And… a fun treat from the lovely and entertaining Figgy & Fatty, favorite Kpop idols including MBLAQ competing with their English skills on the popular idol variety/game show Star Golden Bell.
New KBS series “The Fugitive Plan B” and SBS drama “My Girlfriend is Gumiho” were neck and neck on the Wednesday and Thursday primetime lineup this week.
According to figures released by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday, “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho”, starring Lee Seung-gi and Sin Min-ah, made its exit on the primetime lineup as the most-watched show in the country with ratings of 18.6 percent on September 29 and 21.3 percent on its final episode.
KBS’ “The Fugitive Plan B” came in second with ratings of 21.7 percent for its premiere episode but slipped by 4.4 percent last night.
Meanwhile, data released by AGB Nielsen Media Research revealed that the action comedy, starring Rain and Lee Na-young, was the No. 1 show in South Korea with ratings of 20.7 percent on Wednesday night and 17.9 percent the next day.
Following behind was “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho” with ratings of 16.6 percent on September 29 and 19.9 percent on September 30. The romantic comedy has steadily brought in ratings in the high ten to low 20 percent mark since it first aired on August 11.
“The Substitutet”, starring Ko Hyeon-jeong and kwon Sang-woo, will begin its run next week on SBS.
MBC’s “Mischievous Kiss”, starring Kim Hyun-joong and Jeong So-min, came in third while showing an increase in ratings during the final week of September.

We temporarily back up to where Rain and his luscious MCM backpack arrived at Narita Airport for the start of the Japan/ZEPP tour, and he paused in one of the lobbies for a MASSIVE photo op, much to the delight of the Japanese fans.
Ah. And then we continue to compare Rain’s final backstage notes and detailed instructions with the actual changes the production staff and dancers incorporated into the show, as the ZEPP Tokyo final dress rehearsal continues.
We have “Sad Tango” (the music video/commando version), “Touch Ya” and “Don’t Stop.” Rain and crew are sort of in the middle here, doing a little more than just marking the steps yet not going full out (and as I said before, I don’t blame them… who wants to launder all of that costuming yet again, if you don’t have to?).
That neon black-lit “Don’t Stop” staging just gets me every time. Doesn’t matter how many times I see it, or how many times the dancers change it up. It’s so cool. Not to mention those hands going all over a limber neon body—which in itself always reminds me of Rain’s LoR solo dance right after “Nan” and a certain naughty red glove… but I digress— 😀
And let me mention here how much pleasure I get from Rain’s live mics during these rehearsals. He is creatively spontaneous and in the moment, like, every minute, and we have the amazing privilege of witnessing that. It’s just so epic. How many other fan bases around the world can say the same? Very few, I reckon. Thanks, Ji-Hoon, for bringing us so intimately into your world.
Okay, so before I cause the violins to start playing… 😛
In continuing… must check the self cam/audience cam for use during “My Girl.” Aww. Can you imagine being cammed in the face by Rain, when it’s been the other way around for so long, him being cammed by us? LOL!
Fans, I tell you, I for one am really glad for all of this “backstage” footage, because a lot of people simply don’t realize how much blood, sweat, and tears go into putting a concert together. We see the show on stage and it looks miraculously perfect, but we don’t see all the hard-ass work and the LONG hours put in before that perfection. Terri and I have both been involved in rehearsals many times, and they are no picnic at all. They ain’t glamorous and they never seem to end.
So thanks to Rain and his entire crew for everything they do.
When you see the intro below, you know you’re watching the newest, hottest comedy spy melodrama to hit the airwaves. And not just in South Korea.
*Please NOTE: The Fugitive: Plan B episodes, English-subbed, are due to start on KBSWorldi next week, around October 6th. Not bad at all, considering that we were looking at the earliest possible availability date for legal Fugitive viewing being DECEMBER before this news. And even though these episodes aren’t free (you must join the site and buy points to watch Fugitive and some other dramas, though some programming there IS free), they don’t cost an arm and a leg. They’re quite affordable. Thank you, KBSWorldi…!
*And another NOTE, offhand: So far, 2 women have received 3 kisses in the first two episodes. Taking the present strict Kdrama kissing “rules” (or whatever that is going on over there) into consideration… THIS BODES WELL FOR US, fans. Will things “ratchet up” in later episodes? Keep hope alive! 😀

Remember this? It was only the third time we had seen Hip Song, and it was during the Love Song comeback trail in April (Rain didn’t officially put Hip Song up for comeback voting until May, as I recall). The Men were throwing down and hurling themselves at the audience, Rain was establishing future Hip Song flavas like blowing a “moaaaw..!” kiss, the howl, the strategic crotch-accentuating items (in this case, tied shirt sleeves), and slithering up out of a hard split.
Ahhh. Those were the days, chil’…!

And why shouldn’t they? Go ahead with your Bad Selves, sisters!
I think the brilliance of Erykah Badu says it best, don’t you? “Now… what am I supposed to do when I want you in my world? How can I want you for myself, when I’m already someone’s girl?”
(Just throw some “If loving you is wrong, I don’t wanna be right” up in there, and that pretty much covers all the bases.)

Project 도망자 (Runaway): Rain and World Clouds—One World, One Love, Final Update
Received directly from: huhuhuhu, Project Coordinator
On: October 1, 2010 EST
Images: huhuhuhu @Raincloud Hong Kong
Our sincere thanks to all those who participated in this overseas fans donation project. We believe we achieved what we wanted to do – we wanted to show our love and best wishes to RAIN on his comeback drama 도망자 Plan B by doing our small part in supporting Good Neighbors’ community services in Korea. We are happy that the news came out very positive as we anticipated.
We were asked to list the countries participated in the donation, and we tried our best to include all those we are aware of. If we have omitted your country/countries as an oversight, please accept our sincere apologies. We did stress to Good Neighbors this is an effort from RAIN’s fans all over the world, and there is no boundary in our love for and support to RAIN.
We visited one of Good Neighbors child care centres in the afternoon of 28 September. The children were curious to see us and they smiled happily when they saw the nutrition supplements being taken out from the carton boxes. The staff who received us was pleasantly surprised when she saw our banner and the 도망자 Plan B poster. She is a RAIN fan and she beamed with joy when we gave her the poster. We also decided to leave the banner at the center as a sweet memory.
I am very impressed with the work that Good Neighbors is doing. The centre is bright and cheerful, the kids are in good care. I feel proud that RAIN gives us such opportunity to do our small share in supporting Good Neighbors.
We also sent a congratulatory garland in the name of RAIN’s world fans at the 도망자 Plan B press conference on 27 September, which was placed side by side with our banner.
Here are some pictures taken at the conference and at Good Neighbors, and
Once again, a very BIG thank you to all who supported this project!

Thank you, Cloud sister huhuhuhu, for not only doing everything you could to include us in the project, but for taking valuable time to provide Cloud USA with all the information and assurances with which to go forward. We appreciate you MORE than you will ever know.
And a huge thanks to Geri of the Hawai’ian Cloud for providing a stateside location for donations. You are simply the best.
“Keep coming, dude… just keep coming, until I get you right where I want, and then—POW. You’re down, and I’m done.”
Haha.
Rain fighting his way out of a jam, with very famous martial arts director Jung Doo-Hong, in this recently aired cut from The Fugitive: Plan B, Episode 2 that was recently filmed in the SongDo, S. Korea business district.
The scene is even MORE special because we now know MBLAQ is singing “Running & Running” from the OST as Ji-Woo is… running and running. 🙂
But you knew darned well that we’d catch it, didn’t you, KBS Korea? Sure you did. It is an action comedy spy drama, after all. You’re just having fun with us, right?
Asian pop star Rain, actress Lee Na-young, and actors Daniel Henney and Lee Jung-jin proved their worth when the pilot episode of their romantic comedy-action drama “Fugitive: Plan B” grabbed more than 20 percent rating to place second overall in South Korea.
“Fugitive: Plan B” premiered last Sept. 29 with high expectations boosted by an international cast and a story that brought the drama to various Asian countries.
Based on the AGB Nielsen ratings in Korea, “Fugitive: Plan B” got 20.7 percent rating on its pilot episode, behind “Happiness in the Wind” with its 23.8 percent rating.
“Fugitive: Plan B” also placed second overall on TNMS Korea with 21.7 percent rating on its pilot episode.
On its second episode last Sept. 30, the action series got 17.6 percent in AGB Nielsen and 17.3 percent on TNMS to place fourth overall. “Happiness in the Wind” still topped the Thursday lineup.
“Fugitive: Plan B” is the story of Ji Woo (played by Rain), a private investigator who is hired by Jin-Yi (played by Lee Na-young) to find a person she thinks killed her foster parents.
Their pursuit for the truth takes Rain and Lee Na-young to the Philippines, Japan, China, Macau and Hong Kong.
Behind every Cloud is a silver lining. His name is RAIN.
