In China, singer Rain (his real name, Jung Ji-hoon) made the local audience and TV viewers go wild by making an appearance on a famous TV audition program.

Rain sang his hit song ‘Hip Song’, making a guest appearance on the final round of the program, ‘快樂男聲’ (Quairangsung) that was broadcast live on the afternoon of last 27th. (local time)

Sporting his white jacket and sunglasses, Rain heated up the stage by showing off his stunning and charismatic stage presence. When Chinese fans filling the studio saw Rain, who had been rarely seen in public recently, singing passionately with their own eyes, they went wild at the performance.

After his performance, Rain greeted his fans, speaking fluent Chinese, and then he introduced the finalists to the audience, which attracted attention.

‘快樂男聲’ (Quairangsung) has been one of the most popular audition programs since it began in 2004. It is ‘快樂男聲’ (Quairangsung) that has catapulted the audition participants ‘Leeuichun’ and ‘Sangryuhap’ to superstar status.
‘快樂男聲’ (Quairangsung) has been popular among fans due to its star-studded guest list and the large scale of its investment programme.

From Terri’s Desk: CUSA Forum Now Upgraded to Yuku

Okay, so what does that mean?  Well, I’m not quite sure yet.

The night it happened, we received a message from our forum moderators alerting us to the change.  Unfortunately, at the time, I didn’t have time to devote to the update.  Until today that is.

If you will visit cloudusa.lefora.com, you will see that we now have not only a new look, but also a new chatroom.  All you have to do to enter the chatroom is click on the “New Chatroom” link and the chatroom will open up.

I have only done some basic testing, but it looks like it works so far.  I suppose the real test will be when all of you go over there and use it.

Please do let me know if you experience any glitches with it.  One thing I have noticed is that there does not seem to be a way to embed videos from YouTube.  Annoying, but the links to them do still work.

And our popcorn sound is gone.  I’m still pouting over that one.  :-{  Oh, sure, there are other sounds available, but I’m still going to miss that unique little notifier.

From Stephe’s Desk: We’re home safely and ready to get back to work.

Greetings, CloudUSAers, Cloud sisters, Rain fans, and friends!

Terri and I arrived back in Atlanta late yesterday evening after a long but fun road trip to New Orleans and doing it up Rain-style at this past weekend’s Cloudburst.

Boy, are we tired!  But that tiredness is mixed with a huge dose of joy at having spent an amazing weekend with sister Clouds from across the U.S. I mean, wow. It gets no better. (Only Rain himself and the Fabulous Ones, nothing less, could do that!) 🙂

We have one regret—that the weekend ended so quickly and the group could only hang out together in “Nawlins” for a couple of days. But hey, there are many more Cloudbursts to be had, right?

Anyhoos, I just wanted to check in, to send much love out to Gee for opening her heart and home (woman, you are a gem, truly one of a kind!), and also send love out to all of you that we had the privilege of meeting. Your warmth, your hugs, your smiles and stories and support for Rain were incredible. He is a lucky dude to have fans like you.

I’m going to catch some zzzzzzzzzzzs now because posting tonight without some rest would pretty much result in me producing substandard stuff, and neither Rain nor any of you who spend part of your day with us on the blog deserve that. So, I’ll see you all tomorrow (rather, later on today, as we’re already in the wee hours of Tuesday morning) when I’ll be zipping across the Rainiverse and catching the blog up with news and Rain goodness from the past three days. With a clearer head and fresh eyes. (Cloudburst accounts, pictures, and a Cloudburst post are on the way.)

As some of you may have noticed, our Cloud USA Forum is now bland, plain, Raizo-less, and without a chat box. Good grief!

But there’s no need to panic. A while back, it came to our attention that our forum host would be merging with another company and going through an update, and that is what has happened.

So, now our forum just needs some formatting and sprucing up (some of what we call Terri’s Magic Touch, where she gets in there and swings her shoge and chain around until she likes how the place looks) and things will be back to normal.

I know that this is going to come as no surprise, but I woke this morning thinking about Rain.  I was thinking how awesome it must be that he finally completed his military service and that he is able to enjoy his time exactly the way he wants to enjoy it.  I was thinking about how hard he has worked to get where he is today and how his rise to fame was no easy task.  Of course, I am ALWAYS thinking about how handsome he is and how his beauty both inside and out just takes my breath away.

[fan mades][series] Blast from the past #220.

The second time I saw 비 was in STAR’s (Byul) music video for Full House, “I Think I”, which pointed me in the direction of this classic drama that rocketed him to actor stardom outside of Korea. Every now and then, I have to go back and revisit Full House and laugh myself silly at YoungJae’s and Han JiEun’s antics. I just love it.

And I love this fan made series by our harudoful (Naoko). Let’s reminisce together, and enjoy! 🙂
