After four consecutive nights of Rain’s full on sexy and swag, I thought it best I return to my CF series a little less provocative and in-your-face in that I, myself, am still trying to recover. So what better way than the innocence of Jung Ji Hoon, the school boy?
Fresh on the heels of his debut and pairing up with co-JYPE mentee, Byul, he frolicked his way through a wintry playground for school uniform producer Elite Basic. Such a sweet precursor to Sang Doo, right?
In these early CF’s, it is rather endearing to see Rain still getting his footing in front of the camera as well as settling into that long frame of his while dancing. In that I just had the honor of witnessing him dance inches in front of me at ZEPP Tokyo, I can tell you he has perfected his craft and indeed has taken it to the next level.
Still, I love revisiting these very early moments in Rain’s career as a sweet, humble reminder that underneath it all there was (and still remains) an endearing young man with a beautiful smile who was filled with wonder, hope, ambition and talent. But, during the photo shoot for the campaign we get to see some of that quintessential Rain we know of today.
Playful. Indeed.
Focused intensity. Yes.
Gorgeous lips and eyes. Of course.
Sweet swag. Most definitely.
Humble and gracious. Always.
Come, let’s frolic!!
If I had to choose a time within which I would have liked to know Rain, I think it would be the early days when he was just on the verge of exploding onto the Korean entertainment scene. Not only would he have been all that much more accessible, it just would have been great to hear him talk of his dreams and ambitions and to be on ground zero with him.
Neither of the following videos are subbed, but as in my previous posts, I won’t let that stop me from sharing them because just watching Rain and listening to him speak is a delight all unto itself.
First, the full photo shoot video. A model in the making, he almost seems a bit uncomfortable being in front of the camera, but is still so natural in any event. He sure did learn how to work the camera eventually, right? He downright assaults them now…LOL!!
The next is a little behind the scenes making of.
Rain, seriously….must you make work look like so much fun??!
How do we know that? Because of the way Fabulous Hongshi looks while wearing it, not to mention his World Star little brother. Handsome swag, indeed. 🙂

The lovely Jessica Lowndes, Rain’s co-star in the Bruce Willis movie-in-production “The Prince”, took to Twitter and Instagram a few days ago to give props to the cast (including Rain) and one of the movie’s producers. Congrats on the new movie, Jessica. Break a leg! 🙂
Alabama Cloud and CloudUSAer Cyndi (@4MYLalways) went looking for a rain storm in the city of Mobile and found it, you might say. No doubt, she was feeling somewhat like Dorothy caught up in a cyclone and whisked off to the magical land of Oz, haha! Dear Cyndi, thanks for sending your account to us to share with Cloud sisters around the world. I’ll have you know that I barely got it posted for laughing and laughing at your escapades.
“I’m so sorry, honey. I’m just so nervous. I think this thing is on video and I can’t think straight enough to change it over. Here. You do it.”
That’s when I totally lost it. I wish I could’ve seen Rain’s face at that very moment. LMAO! ^@@^

Many of you loyal Clouds are going to cringe when you read this. There is not a Cloud on earth who doesn’t want to meet Rain and hasn’t dreamed of it for years.
I really am in awe of all that has happened because one year ago, I didn’t even know who Rain was. Even though my cousin, Jessie, had sent me lots of pictures, it was around March that I first “noticed” him. But, I know that by May I was a total fan because I started making a few of my own fan videos for Rain, and my phone was full of his music and pictures. I was watching any clip I could find, and I had already watched all of his dramas and movies. I had also put his Army discharge date on my calendar and was waiting to see him just like everyone else. I do remember thinking how I was lucky that I only had to wait for him to get out for a few months! Rain definitely had an EFFECT and it was fast-acting! LOL!
There is sooooo much I still have to learn about Rain. I haven’t heard all of his music yet. I even realized yesterday that there was a song or two that Gee had that I had not heard before, but during the summer, I reached out to Cloud USA and they welcomed me with open arms. I also started looking for other Rain fans on Twitter. I finally had other people who understood me and my newfound love for all things Rain and not roll their eyes at me when I gushed on and on!
I met my Cloud USA sisters when we had a Cloudburst gathering in New Orleans at Gisele’s (Gee) house. So, I just got my first ever anything Rain 2 months ago when we all got goodie bags with Rain merchandise in them thanks to Terri, Stephe, Michele, Gisele, and Diana. I was over the moon to just own something from him, because that is one disadvantage USA Clouds have. We do not have stores with fan products that we can collect, so the things I got are precious to me. Rain’s Clouds are generous, like him! Gomawoyo, unnies! ♥
About a month ago, my childhood friend told me that they were gonna shoot another movie here locally (an hour from me), and that this time Bruce Willis would be in it. “Okay. Cool,” I thought, and went about my business. After all… it wasn’t like he was Rain or anything, right?! LOL!
The week of the ZEPP tour in Japan, my girl and partner in crime, Tammy, went to Japan. When she was going to the first show it was my birthday, so she said she was gonna hook me up with some Rain gear. HECK YEAH! That was so awesome, but it was like setting me on fire every time she told me details. “He did WHAT? He moved how???” Oh, it had me all tore up!! 😀 After the third show, she told me about Rain doing Fiddy’s “Magic Stick” during the encore. (For those who do not know, Fiddy, or 50cent, is also in the movie The Prince.) “Oh, my word,” I thought, “I’ve got to see that man! It is official. I HATE TAMMY.” 😛
About 4 hours later, at 3:30 am, I saw a news story on a tweet that said Rain was going to Hollywood again. But when I opened it, it said he was going to be in a movie with Bruce Willis. I’m not sure if my heart stopped, or if all the blood in my toes just rushed up into my head, but I do know that even though where they were shooting the movie was not in the article, I knew where, instantly. Oh, my… SQUEEEEALL!! It was 3:30a.m, and of course, I immediately texted Tammy, LOL! Rain is coming. HERE… as in HERE. Mobile Alabama, HERE!! Girl, we gotta go meet that man!!
(I LOVE TAMMY! 😀 )
Rain got to town last weekend, and there I was, an hour away and I couldn’t get to him. I’m finishing up final exams and I had obligations, so we waited, and it was almost too long! Suffice it to say Tammy, Gee, and myself all had to cross many obstacles to even get over there to Mobile, but we all finally did.
Tammy and I went to Mobile on Wednesday morning. We got to the hotel at about 9:30 am. We met Rain in person at around 12:30pm.
I can’t tell you how we got on the set, I will just say we did. (Sometimes you just have to protect your sources.) We were there for a couple hours. We watched them shoot a scene, and then Rain left, and the crew set up for the last scene Rain would be shooting before going home. (Wow. We cut it close the whole day. Timing was such a hurdle, because timing is crucial to actually getting to Rain, but in the end, it was our day to be blessed.)
I still get rushes and feel a bit giddy when I think about it! Whew… Okay, where was I? Oh, timing.
We watched the crew change the sets over. We talked to some people there, and then, when I needed a cigarette, went out on the patio where the crew was relaxing. (Tammy was always keeping an eye on the windows to see if they started back up.) So, we just waited. They finally got the new scene set up. It was going to be in a hallway that had a door leading out of the building… Now, for the past two days, the Gulf Coast had been covered, covered, in this deep thick fog. So, with the way they had the lighting set up, and the “white out” effect of the fog outside the glass doors behind Rain… It almost seemed to me like heaven was behind him as he was bathed in that white light.
This is NOT a good video. You cannot really see Rain in it, just the shape of him a bit in the white light in the very middle of it, but it is all I have to prove we were there on set. On the set of The Prince watching Rain! :O
Anyway, in the scenes we saw shot, it looked like he came to say goodbye, so to speak. (Maybe he was a ghost oppa, maybe not.) Then in the very last scene which was part of the clip I lost, he walked away from the cameras and toward the “light,” but not all the way out of the doors. The director called out, “Cut!” and Rain kept on walking… and walking… still walking… (kekeke, our funny Jihoonie! ♥) Someone yelled out, “Where are you going?” LOL! Everybody laughed, and Rain came back!
Of course he wanted to end the scene with a bit of mischief. 😀
THEN he started to leave, he talked to a few people, and then walked a bit further… and came in front of the glass where I was standing, recording him. Just as he got past me, he turned his head really fast, like he was shocked, and he cut his eyes over and LOOKED AT ME… he like, STARED. And right there with him looking at me, I gasped and did the full-on jaw-drop shocked face. :O Yes, that one!!
All the dreams I ever had of being totally cool when I met Rain flew out the window. Flew. Gone. Bon Voyage!!
Tammy had already gone down around the corner to where he would walk by, to head toward the open part of the hotel and out of the filming area. Clouds, I was gone like a shot and I got my tail around there too!
I was extremely nervous, and I wanted to remember the things I was supposed to say for us Clouds. I went up to him a bit too quickly. Okay, y’all… I ain’t gonna even lie. Rain’s eyes got a tiny bit bigger for a second. I think he thought he might have another airport incident on his hands and that I was gonna throw myself at him any minute! ROFL! For that split second he looked like a deer caught in headlights. Oh, my. I can still see it clearly… Let me say this in my defense: Is his sexiness my fault? I think not! Rain’s sexiness is just too much to not be affected.
I held out my hand to him as I walked up, instead of trying to body slam into him. Good choice, I’m thinking. “Hi. My name is Cyndi Lacefield, and I want to tell you that Cloud USA supports you and we love you.” He shook my hand and said hello, and he shook Tammy’s hand and said hello, too. I told him that we wanted him to come here in concert, and that meant down south, here (not only L.A. or New York), and he and the guy next to him said something to the effect that he would. I don’t remember their exact words, but they were shaking their heads in an affirmative way. (fingers crossed they really do)
At this time, I have to say again, Rain’s English… perfect, y’all. So perfect that we couldn’t even hear an accent when he spoke. His voice was smooth, buttery, and like velvet all at the same time. He wasn’t loud. His tone of voice was calm and not strained at all and very pleasant as he talked to us. Personality-wise, he was soft and caring. He could tell I was nervous anyway, and that is why I was rushing. He is used to crazy fans, but I am sure many of you have thought, as I did, that if you met a celebrity you would be cool. NO, it wasn’t that easy. I did not THINK. My mind… ? I don’t know where it went for the few minutes we spent with him! I wouldn’t remember as much if I had not watched the video of it afterward, but then again, maybe I wouldn’t have deleted it by accident if I had waited to watch it later!! ㅜ_ㅜ
Anyhow, about that time, I think he actually realized we were Clouds, not just local “Lookie Lous”, and he said, “Oh, you are from Cloud?” and we said, “Yes.” Then he said to us, “Would you like to take a picture?” (^o^ SQUEEALLL ) “SURE!” we both said energetically, and we were already midpoint of dropping our purses and moving beside him to pose in a New York second, baby! But I still had my phone in my hand, and it was recording video. (The lost footage was of his chest part of the time because I was looking at him and I forgot I was even holding the camera or that the darn thing was on. I had great close up of him looking down at me from about two feet away, he was so tall next to me, and of course it recorded every lovely, well spoken word of his.)
Now, at this point I was still flustered, and I said, “I’m so sorry, honey. I’m just so nervous. I think this thing is on video and I can’t think straight enough to change it over. Here. You do it.” (Honey?? Oh yes, I am Southern to the bone!! I called that man honey! Yes I did!) So Rain took my phone. I think somewhere in that time I heard Tammy say, “Yeah, she’s nervous.” Bless her heart, that’s my girl… ♥ and RAIN said so sweetly to me, “Just calm down.”
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwww 🙂
So, Rain had MY PHONE. He was working my phone so we could get a picture. His DNA was getting on MY TOUCHSCREEN THAT I WATCH MY FANVIDS ON… Ohhhhhh MY… I will never get rid of this phone!!!!! He had to do it one-handed though, because over on his other side, Miss Thang-Tammyams had gotten herself a grip around his waist and was rubbing his back!! And she wasn’t even trying to let go!! RIGHT!?!? Go, Tammy! 😀
So, he handed the camera to his guy there, and I got all up in there and put my arm around him too. I was touching Rain’s body. *dying here* I wrapped my arm around his back and grabbed a bit of the Men In Black coat in my hands. When the guy took the first picture I was looking kind of sideways because of two other people who were all up on us taking our pictures (why, I don’t know). So I asked, “Can we take another one?” Now, mind you, Tammy and I had not released our holds on Rain at all yet (LOL!), but Rain just grinned. Our time with him was lasting quite a while. I was shaking however, and couldn’t stop, even though by then we had been talking to him for a couple of minutes.
We took the picture, told him thank you very much, and that we would be there to rock with him if he came to the U.S.A. I got my phone from the other dude, and we were done. They left, and I literally don’t remember AT LEAST the following ten minutes. I can’t remember leaving the room. We even stayed there on set for a while longer. I don’t know why. We were still in shock that not only did we pull it off and see Rain, we got to watch him act, got to talk to him, and got some pictures taken. 😀
Within 6 hours, all three of us had our Rain encounters and he was leaving on a jet plane, looking oh, so FABULOUS after he got into his own clothes and put that hair down. I loved that hat turned backwards. ♥
His Hair. We hated the hair, and there are a few sassy ladies out there who know that I have a thing against bad hairstylists. That poof up on top made no sense and looked so wrong! Just wrong! His Skin. My eyeballs were 8 to 10 inches away from his jawline… Oh, the jaw. His cheeks were curved inward, and I looked up at his face and skin to see how perfect it was. And at his eyes, circled in Kohl eyeliner that matched his hair color… yes, he had stage makeup on, and it was tinted for better coverage, but that does not mean we couldn’t see the condition of his face. We could. Rain really has a flawless face, no bumps or blemishes, just smooth, beautiful skin.
That hair was awful, but it was not Rain’s fault. It was what the movie people wanted him to look like. That is his job. Rain has a lot of demands on him. He is a superstar but he can’t always do what he wants or get his way. He is employed by whoever is doing the project he works on. He gets told what to do and how to do it all the time. Tammy and Gisele witnessed that first hand a few hours later. Poor thing…
His smell… everybody wants to know what he smelled like. He smelled good, but not like cologne. And yes, both Tammy and I smelled him. You know it! There are just some things you do by instinct, no thought required! He smelled fresh like he had just showered, with a slight smell of a pleasant body soap. Ahhhh, Le Sigh… It was subtle! Yes. That is the word. He just smelled CLEAN, with a bit of stage make up but no cologne.
His voice was silky smooth. His eyes were gentle. His lips were plump and curvy.
So, I’ve been a full-on Cloud for just over 6 months, and it has already been an amazing adventure. I can’t wait for MORE!
This slideshow requires JavaScript.
I want to add that I am so glad that I experienced it with Tammy. From the moment we met, we hit it off like bottle rockets! I also want to say the same goes for Gee (Gisele). The only reason she is not in my story is because she wasn’t there at that point. She got there later, and she and Tammy saw Rain again as he left for the airport.
I was not part of the MNET interview for the “Rain Effect” reality show because I was in our hotel room, tripping out and trying to recover my accidentally deleted video of our meeting with Rain. No luck. I can say from my heart, openly and honestly though, I was not in any shape to be on TV because I was distraught over the video debacle. I believe everything happens for a reason. Tammy and Gee were perfect for the interview. They know so much more about Rain than I do, and they have both seen him or met him before. I was not meant to be in that show. I will watch my homegirls with pride though, as they represent Cloud USA and tell the world how much they love Rain. We are tired of people here saying, “Who is that?” We are ready for a RAIN STORM to flood the U.S. and for him to take over the whole world!
I can’t wait to become an official Cloud. I am waiting and watching like everyone else for official Cloud 9 registration, but yesterday, I already reached Cloud 9 standing there with him. Rain’s kindness and his sweet, sweet, understanding of my nerves is something I will never forget, and hopefully next time I see him, I will not be so discombobulated. Gee says it is easier the second time. So I will go with that. I will see that man dancing in front of me, somehow… I WILL.
I know how blessed I am to have done this in only 8 months, but I really do believe that it was meant to be. Just a few days ago, I was thinking that even if I never saw Rain in concert, he has changed my life because I would not have my Cloud sisters, and for those of you who are waiting and dreaming of a day you can meet him, I sincerely wish that for you too. Again, I would like to say that several people helped us achieve this dream. We could not have done it without help from some great contacts, and as it turns out, without the three of us having amazing Rain-tracking skills. 😀
“The Prince” on Twitter: the smell of Rain and more random thoughts
MOBILE, Alabama – “The Prince” actress Gia Mantegna, daughter of Joe, is one of a few cast and crew members and fans who have taken to Twitter to share their random thoughts about their experiences filming in Mobile.
The freshly scented Korean pop star to whom she’s referring is her “Prince” co-star Rain, who reportedly arrived in the Port City about two days ago.
Rain’s fans are known as “clouds.” And he’s already being showered with affection by Port City “clouds.”
I don’t know who these clouds are and whether they’re cumulonimbus or what. But don’t they look delighted? It must because he smells so nice…
After leaving our lovely Cloud sisters in Mobile, Rain traveled to Atlanta and jetted out of our Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, went 14 hours back across the International Date Line, and landed at Incheon International in Seoul. He was one tired puppy when he left Mobile, so you know he was crazy exhausted after all of that traveling.
(So now, the difference in the articles concerning the date he was returning makes sense. He did leave Mobile on the 4th, but by the time he got back to Seoul, it was the 6th due to the time difference. ^@@^)
-Rain who has returned home after filming ‘The Prince’, “Bruce Willis and I are in perfect harmony with each other.”-
Rain who was staying in America for filming movie ‘The Prince’, returned home to record his new album.
Rain entering the country through Incheon Airport on the morning of the 6th was captured on film by OBS’s Unique Entertainment News cameras.
On this day, Rain appeared, wearing his baseball cap backward with his sunglasses.
In particular, he showed off himself as a fashionista by being dressed all in black, with a leather jacket.
Rain showed excitement, “My character in movie ‘The Prince’, Mark, is good. Bruce Willis and I are in perfect harmony with each other.”
Also, he was very unforthcoming and highly sensitive about his new album work.
Meanwhile. Rain who has snatched a short holiday from his film work to come here, will strive to follow a demanding schedule of his work on his new album in Korea. After that, he’ll go to America again and film the movie.

Rain has been very busy working on his film and on the post-production stage of his music since he returned to Korea
Singer and actor Rain (his real name, Jung Ji-hoon) has been very busy. Even ahead of his new album’s official release next January, Rain has been spending busy days, traveling back and forth between Korea and the USA for filming his hollywood movie.
According to his agency Cube DC on the 7th, Rain who went to the USA for filming his movie ‘The Prince’ last 30th, arrived in Incheon International Airport on Korean Air Boeing KE34 at around 6:00am on December 6th.
Recently Rain had been shooting ‘The Prince’, staying in LA, Atlanta, etc. Brian A Miller’s action thriller ‘The Prince’ is Rain’s first new hollywood film since he starred in Ninja Assassin in 2009. He gets set to team with Bruce Willis, John Cusack, etc. In the film, Rain plays the role of cool-headed and intrepid ‘Mark’.
Rain lately showed his excitement and excited anticipation in a roundabout way by replacing his SNS picture with a ‘the Prince’-related one.
Rain who returned home, six days after the departure, is planning to give an impetus to the post-production stage of his new album due out in stores next January. Rain broke the news of his next January 6th’s comeback while performing in special highlights at 2013 MAMA in Hong Kong’s Asia World Expo Arena last 22nd.
After three years and nine months of releasing his album ‘Back To The Basic’ in April, 2010, Rain will be back with his new album next January. 2011’s song ‘Busan Woman’ published at his last concert before his enlistment was just an event song for his fans.
Again, Rain will produce his new album himself. Some of his own songs will be in this album, and he has already finished recording many of the tracks the album will have. His agency officials told Star News, “Before we enter into a discussion about the album jacket, the concept of filming a related music video, etc., the post-production stage of his album is getting under way.
Continuing, “Since his schedule for filming has been set one more time this month, he has to work to his tight schedule until his comeback to the stage. He’ll only pour himself into the work on his album for the time being.”

There’s only ONE Korean pop star on the set and in the cast of movie-in-production “The Prince.” And that pop star always manages to be so fresh and oh, so clean, in our experience.
Loved the tweet, Ms. Mantegna. We’re looking forward to seeing you in the movie. Do well! 🙂

You were all so awesome sharing your Nicolas Cage anecdotes and sightings when “Tokarev” was filming in town.
And now I need your star-sighting skills again.
Today, the Bruce Willis crime thriller “The Prince” started filming in downtown Mobile. The production will be shooting around town through Christmas.
If you see Willis, John Cusack, Jason Patric, 50 Cent, Korean singing superstar Rain or any other star of “The Prince,” or happen upon the set, please snap some pictures and send them to me at tikenberg@al.com…
Attention, Clouds and fans who love Rain’s adorable grin!

MOBILE, Ala. (WALA) – The City of Mobile is taking center stage in another feature film.
Production for the Jason Patric, John Cusack film “The Prince” got off to a bang Tuesday, December 3, 2013.
The film’s crew blew up a Jaguar on Dauphin Street Tuesday afternoon, one local businessman watched from his office.
“I didn’t expect to see what I saw,” said John Shoemaker, with Charles Schwab on Dauphin Street. “They actually told us to stay away from the windows.”
Shoemaker’s office location on Dauphin gave him a front seat and a behind the scenes look.
“Yesterday we actually got to see Bruce Willis out front,” said Shoemaker. “Looks like how he usually does.”
If you missed out on the action Tuesday, the movie making crew plans to be in Mobile for sometime.
Thursday, December 5 the film makers are scheduled to shoot inside an unopened nightclub on dauphin street.
“They were just walking up and down Dauphin Street – I guess this was about three weeks ago and she happened in and we just got to talking and they loved and so here we are,” said Vince Brown, manager with XCITE Nightclub.
The XCITE Hookah Lounge is getting ready to open in a couple of weeks, but they’ll make their Hollywood debut this week.
“Unlock the doors that’s it. It’s going to be a pretty simple thing for us,” said Brown, “We get to be on the set so that will be kind of fun; something I’ve never done before.
Unfortunately, the film makers have decided to make The Prince shooting locations closed sets – no one gets in without permission.
{*Edited to Add 12/5: CloudUSAer Tammy, who was on the set in Mobile with Rain, says that he has gone back to Korea for now and that the producer said he did his own stunts! And that when he found out they were Clouds, he said, “Come on, let’s take a pic.” What a guy. ♥ He will be back later in the month to continue shooting scenes. ^@@^}
{*Edited to Add: I thought that Rain might be done in Mobile, with it being the 4th and all, but there’s a chance that he isn’t and won’t be until the 6th. I don’t know for sure. So I’ve edited this post to that effect. Thanks. ^@@^}
The “eye of the storm” was wearing a sharp black suit, coiffed hair, and that smile Clouds have all grown to love.
Here is Rain (a.k.a “Mark”), Cyndi, Tammy, and Gee in Mobile. (Way to go, USA clouds. Way to show the man some love! Very proud.)
If he’s done with his scenes, Rain will be winging his way back home to South Korea to rest and continue working on his album and his new TV reality show (unless he’s staying until the 6th). Speaking of that… don’t be surprised if you see a glimpse of some CloudUSAers on his “Rain Effect.” I kid you not!
At this moment, Rain is in Mobile, Alabama, filming his scenes for the upcoming Bruce Willis/Jason/Patric/John Cusack movie “The Prince.” In a few days, he’ll be back in South Korea to work on his new album to be released January 6 and probably working on new reality TV show The Rain Effect. He’ll be coming back to the U.S. to continue shooting more scenes for “The Prince” in a few weeks.
FAN MADE VIDEO OF THE WEEK: “Gorgeous Rain, He’s paradise” by LaneNaka. My Rating: Right On. That’s paradise if I’ve ever seen it.
Rain is Eternal. Where clouds stay gathered, rain will always come. It is inevitable.

(I’ve always loved Rain’s adorable mop top/floppy hair the best. Don’t you pay folks that give you a hard time about it any attention, Hoonie. I’m down with your poodle head all the way. Hmph.)
Many thanks to @CajunBH (mleonard) on Twitter for retweeting @olv’s (onlocationvacations.com’s) photo of the pool at the Battle House Renaissance Hotel, in Mobile, Alabama, where The Prince‘s production company was getting settled in and getting busy.
Filming is taking place at both the RSA Battle Tower and the Battle House Renaissance Hotel. So far, this is the only photo floating around, but hopefully better photos of the production will follow soon. Below is a professional shot of the pool you see in the photo above.
Below is a professional shot of The Battle House Renaissance Hotel itself. Isn’t is a beauty? I wouldn’t mind staying there a night or two myself.
Here’s a front shot of the RSA Battle Tower, the tallest skyscraper in Alabama and on the Gulf Coast of the U.S. outside of Houston, Texas.
Here’s a full shot of the tower.
The two buildings are connected by a grand ballroom. Filming for “The Prince” will be taking place in and around these two buildings for about a week.
Aperture Entertainment is the company that is producing the Bruce Willis/Jason Patric movie “The Prince.” Producer Adam Goldworm founded Aperture back in 2009. For such a young company, they certainly are making huge strides across Hollywood. 🙂
Once again, Rain cements solid acquaintances on this side of the ocean and influences people. Thumbs up!
Kangansurure Korean Home Cooking Restaurant (韓国家庭料理 カンガンスルレ) posted today on both their Facebook page and their Ameblo blog in Japan about Rain visiting them, partaking of a meal, and graciously leaving his autograph in the middle of his Story of Rain 2013 ZEPP concert tour. Needless to say, they were thrilled. Of course, we don’t blame them. 🙂

“Popular Korean singer RAIN (Jung JiHoon) has a wide range of entertainment activities as well as songs, and is a top star in dramas and Hollywood movies. The reason for his visit to Japan was the 2013 RAIN ZEPP TOUR-STORY OF RAIN, and this time the tour was in four cities, Fukuoka, Tokyo, and Osaka, starting with Nagoya on the 14th, a total of 10 performances. Going forward, Kangansurure will cheer him on ( ^ ▽ ^ ) — Stephe ^@@^
A huge thumbs up to literary and talent manager Adam Goldworm of Aperture Entertainment (also the producer for film-in-production The Prince) for 1) sharing a really cool shot of his chair on the set in Mobile, Alabama, and 2) for saying what we’ve pretty much known since “Taejo” kicked and drove his way through Speed Racer and “Raizo” sliced and diced his way through Ninja Assassin.
When Mr. Goldworm posted his picture and hashtagged the actors in the movie with the exception of Rain (unintentionally), Clouds had to jump right on that, of course. 🙂 To which the producer responded, “Rain kicks all kinds of ass.” LOL! To which Rain fan Peacewarriorrocker responded, “We thought the same, sir.”
Thanks, Mr. Goldworm, for making my night.
(And for letting us know that “Mark” is already hard at work.) 🙂 ^@@^
Seems someone is happy about his upcoming role in upcoming Hollywood movie The Prince—celebrating with an updated profile picture on his Twitter account. SO EXCITING!! And we are so very excited for our World Star as he prepares and gets ready to begin filming on our shores!! Looking forward to seeing him back up on the silver screen very soon! ^.^
Is that his movie trailer on the set in Alabama???
On his last day ZEPPing in Tokyo, Japan, Rain made a visit to the one-year-old Korean mall K-Square Shin-Okubu (on the southeast end of Koreatown) and had a bite of Korean food at the Saikabo Seoul Madang Restaurant on the 3rd floor. He looked happy to be there (well of course, there was food!^^) and they looked all too pleased to meet him. He graciously left his autograph, and you know they will treasure that forever. 🙂

Ok, before I begin reliving the second show of the Zepp Tokyo leg of The Story of Rain Tour (2013), I want to epilogue the first show properly!!!! I completely left out the encore portion of my first post and the encores of these shows were just as much fun and filled with just as much excitement as the entire show! My bad.
Rain shows off a rider fashion with his intense charisma
The arrival of charismatic Rain.
Rain greeting with a killer smile.
His fancy airport fashion.
Rain still enjoys a tremendous popularity.
Rain arrived in Seoul on the morning of November 29th, landing at Gimpo Airport after completing his concert tour 2013 RAIN ZEPP TOUR-STORY OF RAIN of Japan.
On this day, Rain showed off his hip hop fashion. He looked pretty tough by wearing a leather jacket and a pair of ripped jeans. In addition, he created an image expressing a style which emphasizes a charisma with a beanie and sunglasses.
Meanwhile, Rain held 10 concerts, entitled 2013 RAIN ZEPP TOUR-STORY OF RAIN, in Japan’s four cities, including Fukuoka, Tokyo, Osaka, and Nagoya on the 14th as the first leg of the tour.
He was one tired puppy, bless his heart. ♥ SooBong and SungTak were too, I’m sure. Even “fabulous” needs a little rest sometimes. (ZEPP images credited as tagged. Source: RainAngel)
Fabulousity abounds!^^ YongDeok with a Diamond’d up Hongshi. Who this picture belongs to was not specified, so, seeing as they are in it, I’m crediting this image to YongDeok and Hongshi. (Source: Rainstorm)

This is what we call a Security FAIL. Good grief, Clouds and fans. For the love of God, don’t run up on Rain like this!
Firstly, you’re setting yourself up to get injured (and she very nearly did, what with losing her footing). Secondly, you’re setting Rain up to get injured because of you (do you really want that on your conscience?). As it is, she ended up stepping all on his foot. Thirdly, it’s rude, thoughtless, and frightening to the other person. (How do you feel when some stranger you’ve never seen before runs up into your personal space, touching you? Not too happy, I imagine.)
Fourthly, that’s all Rain needs is for a fan to get hurt or smacked down by security for the Media to be all over him like lint on a cheap suit and blaming him for the incident. (Why in the world would you want to cause Rain a problem in the press when you know how mean they are to him?) Fifthly, there’s a new sheriff in town called Cube Entertainment, and if you make either them or Rain too skittish, next thing you know they may start keeping all of his flight information to themselves, not just some of it. And Rain will start using exit “B” while fans are waiting at exit “A.” And he’ll be surrounded by a phalanx of bodyguards so deep, no one will be able to even glimpse him anymore. How about not ruining it for the rest of us, okay?
This may not be a popular opinion, but that’s not my concern. It needs to be said, and I’m saying it.
This security detail deserved a good dressing down (a.k.a. a cussing-out). They’re just lucky she wasn’t some anti- with a weapon or it would have been all over but the shouting. Once Rain gets hurt, it’s too late and “Sorry…” will not cut it. ^@@^
