OMG! To my utter delight, veteran Rain crewman and “big bro” Kim KyuSang (dancer, choreographer, visual performance director, dance teacher, agency owner, bar owner and entrepreneur) guest-starred on Korean reality show Sister’s Slam Dunk, Season 2, Episode 2. And during the show, he gave Rain a call on his cell and blew everyone’s mind. Yaaaay! 😀

When Rain was a brand new rookie at JYPE, SangQ was one of the dancers that taught him, took care of him, performed with him, and stuck by his side. The rest, as they say, is history. When you saw one, you saw the other.

Seriously, the cast didn’t believe him when he said he knew Rain? Haha! With Rain picking the call up right away and KyuSang saying, “JiHoon, hey, this is SangQ hyung“, there was little doubt after that, I reckon. LOL~

When he went off to do his own thing after the Rain Effect comeback in 2014, we knew we would miss him but wished him continued success in his endeavors after his many years of loyalty and friendship to Rain. It’s great to see him doing so well with his shy self. keke~

I must, must, must share a few of my favorite Rain & cutie SangQ moments from over the years. I can’t help it, y’all. 🙂

“LA Song” on Inkigayo. Green socks, long wig, Rain’s fur coat, and 30 Sexy choreography. And Rain looking at him and cracking up. ahahahaha~ ^@@^

PFC Rain and Crew perform “It’s Raining” at the military’s Radienteering Competition Event in the summer of 2012, and Mr. Red Hat KyuSang pranks Rain around the 3:00 mark by going rogue and taking Rain’s front spot from him. Rain’s reaction had me LMAO! ^@@^

From a different vantage point, you can clearly see SooBong and Gori laughing along with SangQ because they already knew he was going to take Rain’s spot right quick. ahahahaha~ ^@@^

On MBC, for Rain’s Top Singer performance. Dreadlocs, yaassss! ^@@^

A morning entertainment report from 2003, during Rain’s How To Avoid the Sun era, when he performed as a top 10 singer on an SBS music awards show, chewed the fat over a meal with his hyungs (I LOVE when SangQ wore dreads back in the day), and visited his mom’s grave during his first steps to superstardom. ♥ ^@@^

Ahhh, the memories. 🙂
