It’s my honest opinion that, true to form and because he was accompanying a delegation of female Chinese celebrities to a Chinese-themed function, Rain hung back like a gentleman, gave the spotlight to the women, posed for MCM and Vogue and got himself up those stairs without a lot of fuss. Nicely done, JiHoon. We did catch a couple of good glimpses of you during the live feed, thank goodness, which was great. 🙂

Hello there, dear Clouds and fans!
Hopefully your week has started off well and none of you have been affected by the deadly goings-on (storms, flooding, wildfires, earthquakes and volcanoes) that have plagued the planet the past few weeks.
One thing that has always been a concern for us (even back when we were newbie Clouds) is that there are isolated Rain fans out there who are all alone, who have no idea if any other fans or sites are in their area or country. It absolutely saddens us to think of even one fan having no one to talk to or share Rain with, no matter where they are or what language they speak, especially with the Internet up and running.
It is extremely important that fans who love Rain are able to see the active domestic/global fan sites that support and reflect him at a glance, so that they can go to any site they wish and find companionship and friends through Rain.
Also, the world needs to understand why he has earned the name “world star.”
So, we’ve added a brand new page to CloudUSA.org in celebration of 1) Rain’s 13th debut anniverary this month and 2) the extraordinary coming-together of his Clouds from all over the world these past few years — Rain’s World: His Global Fandom.

As she was headed to the airport and back to Japan with her lovely Japanese Cloud friends, and then home, CloudUSAer Maria (@tonicny) posted a brief account of Rain’s Japanese fan meeting in Seoul, South Korea, which just happened this weekend. She visited Gori and Hongshi’s restaurant, John Magkeolliano, and tried magkeolli for the first time.

Rain tried a KFC 마이징거 (“My Zinger”) specialty burger recently and probably enjoyed it, seeing as he’s said in the past how much he likes fried chicken. As I understand it, it’s called a 버거 (burger) because of the bun. The meat is a fried chicken breast fillet.
KFC Korea introduced this burger back at the beginning of this month with a My Zinger launch party at a dance club in Gangnam District called Toto Gayo, where Lee Seung Gi, T-ARA’s Hyomin, 2NE1’s Dara, and other celebs were spotted. My guess is that Rain was either in a restaurant or a breakroom somewhere when this picture was taken.
