We’ve noticed that in several of the radio interviews Rain has given in the past week, he’s mentioned that crazy killer food binge he went on after Ninja Assassin wrapped up filming and he was finally free to eat whatever he wanted. He’s revealed that he scarfed down over 20,000 calories in one day, but we’re wondering if he told them exactly what he ate.
Towards the end of 2008, when he was finally back in Korea, had re-cut his hair Rainism-style and was happily singing on stage and doing talk show rounds, we recall that Rain DID tell Ho-Dong, Je-Dong, Nichkhun, and MC Mong the amount of food he ate (and kept down) during that 24-hour period. It was so incredible that show host Ho-Dong asked him, “Was your toilet okay?”

And incidentally, speaking of weddings… back on the 27th, Asian source Kukki News reported that Rain is slated to sing when Jin Kyung (of former female group Titima, that broke up in 2002) gets married to her businessman fiancé on May 28. KBS Global 4/27/2010 — Entertainment Kim Je Dong will hold talk concerts for Korean residents living in Los Angeles and Seattle on April 28 and April 30, respectively. His agency Daeum Entertainment delivered the news on April 26. During the concerts in the USA, his close friend and singer Yoon Do Hyun will attend as a special guest, and Korean resident Alex Cho (Cho Sung Gak), who has recently become famous by running a large-scale Dokdo advertisement, is planning to attend the concert in Los Angeles as a talk show guest….
If you recall, in the last week or so, Rain recorded an appearance on friend Kim Je-Dong’s new show in South Korea. (They’ve done many shows together in the past, and some fanmeetings, as well as the documentary The 7 Rainmakers.) The Korea Times 5/1/2010 — Korean pop singer Rain, who is arguably the biggest sensation throughout Asia, made “a slip of the tongue” during a TV show, which incurred a response from another formidable pop musician, Park Jing-young or better known as “JYP” among his fans. Rain recently made a remark: “I already surpassed Park Jin-young,” a statement that could be interpreted as a sign of confidence or arrogance, depending on how it was seen.
During a show, aired by SBS on Friday, Rain said he received a personal text message from Park after the remark….
As Rain has already publicly said, he and JYP playfully insult each other’s companies and “one-up” each other all the time because of their longtime relationship. KPopToday 5/1/2010 — Rain (real name Jung Ji Hoon) has been ranked No.1 as the best selling album with his special “back to the basic” for the entire month of April. Hanteo announced on May 1 that Rain’s “Back to the Basic” has reached the top with total record and album sales for their monthly chart and not only ranking first but having the best record album sales for the month.
No. 2 on the monthly chart is Lee Hyori’s “H-Logic” with also her title song “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang”….

Dramabeans 4/30/2010 — As previously teased (and teased again), Rain (Jung Ji-hoon) is coming back with a drama this year, and the news has finally been confirmed. He will be teaming with the writer and director of Chuno, PD Kwak Jung-hwan (also of Conspiracy in the Court) and writer Chun Sung-il (also of Level 7 Civil Servant).
The drama is titled Runaway [도망자] and will aim for a late-September or October premiere on KBS. However, PD Kwak was rather vague on the details, saying, “We haven’t decided whether it will be 16 episodes or 20, and it could be a spy melodrama but we may change it. I can’t reveal the details of the plot.” Based on previous interviews, it seems that this will be a contemporary project rather than sageuk….
Finally! I’ve been hoping and praying that this would come about. This is a role that Rain will be able to sink his teeth into very deeply. Truly, the only thing that would’ve made us happier here is if he had been announced opposite Kim Sun-Ah in her upcoming drama I Am Legend (나는 전설이다).

Allkpop 4/29/2010 —Superstar Rain / Bi was a guest on SBS ETV recently and shared a story about a fake baby momma. One day when Rain was renovating his condo, he came home and saw a strange woman he’s never seen before at his house. When he asked this lady who she was, she replied, “I’m pregnant with your child.” They eventually took this woman to a hospital and got her checked out and they found that she was mentally unstable. At the end of the interview he stated, “I’m a clean innocent man…” which resulted in much laughter from the audience. This segment is scheduled to air on May 5th at 9pm on SBS….
I also read in a similar post that, during the same interview, Rain joked (and I paraphrase), “In every country, there is a woman [supposedly] pregnant with my baby.” LOL! Can you just imagine how many false claims have been made, for real? Poor Ji-Hoon. — Stephe ^@@^

Oh, come on. Anyone with sense knows that Rain was only joking, as always. I can’t believe I’ve seen some Internet bloggers actually raking him over the coals because he said this.

As Rain has already publicly said, he and JYP playfully insult each other’s companies and “one-up” each other all the time because of their longtime relationship. I can see JYP being taken aback and texing Rain to be sure he was just kidding. But I would hardly call a text message a “face-off.” I mean, really. Give us a break. — Stephe ^@@^
