Just so you know, the 2010 TIME 100 Poll voting is now officially CLOSED.
Thanks to all of your hard work and dedication, Rain has won the #4 position on the TIME Online Poll list! You can see see Rain’s page and listing HERE, even though TIME is no longer accepting any votes or comments.

We did a great job Clouds. We got him exposure. Which is what he needs the MOST in North America and what Cloud USA is all about.
Send those letters anyway. Heck, send one to EVERYBODY. After all, everybody needs to know how much Rain means to the world, right?

I’m not disappointed either. We did what we set out to do–get him in a top spot in the online poll, because he deserves to be there.
The TIME 100 Issue was a different matter completely and was a long shot to begin with, but the effects of it could carry through for him next year and make something good happen then. I’m happy for Kim Yuna, and I will not be angry at a freedom fighter who has put his life on the line for his country for decades.
Let’s go forward with chins high and no anger or regrets. After all, that is what Rain would do.

Time has already announced who will be in the magazine and Rain is not in it. According to the video that explains how the list is chosen (http://www.time.com/time/video/player/0,32068,81960884001_1985769,00.html) the editors started working on the issue starting in January and it looks mostly put together already in the video. I think writing to them about Rain’s influence and including personal inspirational stories would still be a good thing to do. Maybe we can persuade them to do a feature article about Rain or, if not, maybe they will put our information in a file so that when they finally DO and article about him, they will have more info. We can keep hoping.
I am not too disappointed because we did win him some publicity – Time included a clip from the Love Song MV and lots of people might see it (http://www.time.com/time/video/player/0,32068,81831965001_1985691,00.html)
