Nice to meet you.

This is pfc ‘Jung Ji Hoon’ (Rain) attached to Defense Agency for Public Information Services. Thank you so much for enjoying our show so far, and I am happy that I have the opportunity to meet all you and to do a concert.

What’s the meaning of this word? (The banner which a soldier held in his hand, said “I placed 3,000 chairs on the ground.”)

Pardon me? You placed 3,000 chairs on the ground? You are a soldier and it is your job to do so. (laughs) It was your duty as a soldier. (laughs) I do what I have to do as this is a job for me to do. (the sound of the applause)

I’m just kidding. (laughs) I want to thank you so much for placing 3,000 chairs on the ground today. (laughs)

Civilians and my comrades, thank you for coming today. (laughs) (Since this word “civilians” are not common in casual talks, the crowd is laughing)

Thank you, the commander-in-chief of the 3rd field army headquarters. But I wonder if he is here or not (laughs) I know I have little opportunity to meet him. Ah! He is there! (laughs) As might be expected, he is such a nice man. (laughs)

Dear commander, while you’re here, why don’t you give your inferiors a two days and one night holiday? (a storm of applause) (When the commander turned thumbs up Rain’s opinion, there was a storm of applause) I didn’t know he would accommodate me. I should have asked him to give them a three days and two night holiday. (laughs) Anyway, thank you, commander.

I’m glad our performance was finished in giving a good account of itself.

I was worried about the military service before my enlistment, but my adaption well to life in the army has approached the level of a superhuman (laughs), as the same could be said of other soldiers. I feel much better now that I accepted the situation and was adapting myself to it.

During military concerts, I’ve been [equipped and clothed ^@@^] in casual clothes because my military uniform [gets ^@@^] thoroughly soaked with sweat. So I hope military authorities will pay for the casual clothes. (laughs) (When soldiers shouted, “I really want to wear casual clothes.”) Please wear those clothes when you are on vacation. (laughs)

Anyway, I’d like to thank the commander for arranging this wonderful occasion today, and please give the military band a big hand. (a storm of applause)

Also, I’m grateful for the support of those who helped all the performers including me get here.

Now I have to leave the stage… [The crowd sorely missing him already ^@@^]

… and their first two uploads happen to be the Rain The Best Show 3D movie trailer that we’ve already seen, plus this KBS news clip with information about the movie. From the looks of things, the Rain The Best Show 3D movie will be running through Christmas and possibly beyond, with more 3D K-Pop movie concerts to come (Super Junior’s 3rd Asia Tour is next!).

All I can say is if you are in the Seoul vicinity and can pop into the theater and see these shows, what a lucky fan you are! Wow. 🙂 Thank you, KPop Cinema.

Apparently, the website we were all waiting for (that was being created for overseas fan orders) met with problems and couldn’t be done, so RAINY Entertainment has taken it upon themselves to oversee the DVD ordering process. (Thanks, RAINY!) Please read the first notice carefully, and send your pre-order emails with the information they require off to RAINY Ent. as soon as possible. (Look for Overseas application, all regions other than Japan.) There is no telling what the shipping costs will be, so another smart thing might be to get with your friends and order in small groups to cut those costs.

Pre-order period: Today, September 21 through October 5.

PLEASE NOTE: The pre-orders that the manufacturer already has (from fans not overseas) exceeded the DVDs they made, so they are having to go back and make more. Because of this, the actual ORDER dates (when payment and delivery happen) might be pushed back a little. We’ll just have to see. In the meantime, get your pre-orders in to rainyent.cloud@gmail.com. Thanks!

Important FYI: RAIN The Best Show 3D and the RAIN The Best Show Premium Limited DVD Package are both from Rain’s last concert tour stop in Seoul before military, yes, but they are TWO SEPARATE THINGS. The first one is a 3D movie you see in the theater only in Seoul, the second one is a regular DVD package that fans are able to purchase and, as far as we know, has nothing to do with 3D.

Rain Performs for His Fans at Military Event in Seoul

Rain, who currently serves as a PR agent at the Defense Media Agency (DEMA), appeared at the military marathon event held on September 15 in Seoul, and presented his fans and participants with a grand performance.

DEMA′s official blog ′Harmony′ uploaded on September 20 photos of Rain performing this day at the event.

For his performance, Rain had donned a black t-shirt and jeans, topped off with a beanie, and showed off his trademark charisma in a series of performances.

Many Japanese fans who had traveled to Korea to see Rain perform stood out in the audience and cheered for Rain.

Rain performed alongside his fellow PR agents, including Yoo Gun, Untouchable′s Sleepy and D-Action and KCM. Rain only performed onstage without running for the actual marathon.

Ever since he was transferred to DEMA in March, Rain has performed in a number of military performances.

Soon after his transfer he was sent to Vietnam to perform at the concert celebrating 20 years of diplomatic ties between Korea and Vietnam.

Rain′s fans swarmed the airports to see the DEMA crew arrive, making great issues in both countries. Rain then performed in a Children′s Day event in May, and on June 16 appeared at the Yeosu Expo for a special K-Pop performance hosted by DEMA.

More regularly, he performs for Friends FM′s Morale Train.

Despite his many performances, it has been hard to see the singer performing in Seoul, causing many fans to show their interest in his most recent performance.

Rain also currently hosts the weekend show on Friends FM, Rain and KCM′s Speeding Instinct.

Celestial movies to bring “Rain: The Best Show” and action drama “Hero” to your homes

Singapore (17 September 2012) – Come September, Celestial Movies, the biggest 24-hour Chinese movie service in Asia and beyond, will debut not one, but two special events – the world TV premiere of Korean pop superstar Rain’s latest concert, Rain: The Best Show, and the first and exclusive broadcast of big-budget Korean action drama HERO. These two shows will dovetail Celestial Movies’ programme lineup beyond movies to provide the best of Asian entertainment featuring the biggest stars and productions to viewers of the cable channel. Besides these special events, Celestial Movies will continue to bring first and exclusive movie premieres to its subscribers this September, such as the 2012 Hong Kong Film Award-winning movie Life Without Principle.

Rain: The Best Show

Rain: The Best Show will be making its television premiere on Celestial Movies before any other channel in the world. With a budget of over US$3 million, the concert was shot in 3D (although it will be broadcasted in 2D) and is a culmination of Rain’s greatest hits from his 10-year career as an artist and superstar. The concert was recorded on 25th September, 2011 at Seoul’s Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium during the last stop of his world tour. This was Rain’s final concert performance before his enlistment into South Korean military last year. He will not be able to perform commercially until the completion of his service term in July 2013. As such, the TV debut of Rain: The Best Show will be the only opportunity for fans in Singapore to relive and indulge in Rain’s suave and electrifying persona during the concert at this point in time.

Rain: The Best Show – Singapore Special

As the first TV channel in the world to broadcast this latest concert of Rain, Celestial Movies will be giving out 15 sets of Rain: The Best Show photobook that are exclusively produced for Singapore only. The photobook will feature never-seen-before Rain: The Best Show photographs. To top it off, each photobook will have one personalized picture at its last page, rendering each of the 15 sets exclusive to each individual winner. Fans of Rain will have to write in to justify why they are Rain’s biggest fans in 50 words. Entries with full contact details can be submitted to pr@celestialtiger.com by 21st  September 2012, before midnight. Participants will also have to indicate the web portal that they saw this contest. Winners will be notified via email.

[announcement] A very special New on the Block x 2.

We are pleased to announce that longtime community members MDWomack and Merrick have both accepted positions as Cloud USA Forum Moderators.

In two and a half years, the Forum has grown tremendously, and so our staff needs to expand with it.

These two dedicated, Rain-driven Clouds will be working with us and Katie to keep the place on an even keel, as well as make Cloud USA an even more dynamic and exciting place for new and veteran Rain fans alike. They are usually over on the Forum Chat in the evenings and sometimes later, so drop in anytime for some great conversation and fun galore.

We will be adding them to the masthead shortly. In the meantime, do join us in welcoming them to the Cloud USA roster, and support them well.
