VIPS (빕스, bibseu) is top dog of Korean steakhouses, and the commercial ads and posters that came out of this campaign were just cheek-pinching adorable. The handsomeness was blinding, folks. I don’t know what sizzled more, Rain or the steak! Even the jingle was cute — but only for the first 10 times, maybe. After that, it was like, Gaaaaaahhhh, cut that song OFF but leave the Rain visuals ON! haha~ 😉 The company did a lot of customer events, like prizes, trip giveaways and cooking classes. As a sponsor, VIPS was cool. ^@@^
As greedy as Rain is, you know he didn’t have to act when it came to these CFs, right? He was eyeballing that steak the way he would in real life. ^@@^

I thought it was really wonderful of VIPS to support Rain’s national concert tour (Rain The BEST Show) when it came to Seoul for its final stops. They catered an amazing spread for him and folks backstage and put it all over their social media, something that had to make him feel doggone good. ^@@^
A lucky fan actually saw him eating at a VIPS seafood salad specialty restaurant a month or two before the CFs hit. ^@@^ » LINK: [fan account] Wow! I felt like I was on top of the world.

His skin! It’s no wonder he appeals to the masses. He can carry off the “thug” look of a breakdancing rapper and still look like (and be as non- threatening as) “the boy next door”.
*Note – this is not an insult from my perspective. Born and raised in Detroit where there’s nothing sexier than a man who looks like a thug (can handle himself) but has chivalrous, upstanding law-abiding ways and can also fit in when you take him to your company’s corporate dinner. *sigh*
