9/1 – 8/30. Rain’s fond remembrances of Vietnam, posted by him. Good to see he got some rest and relaxation, good eatin’, and was happy with his performance. 8/29. Leaving his 5-star digs — the Pullman Saigon hotel — for the airport, on his way home to Seoul for a little bit. 8/28. I’m going to briefly mention this because I feel that I should, in hopes of heading off confusion.

There seemed to have been a brief uproar in the media because Rain allegedly walked out of a press conference without addressing the Vietnamese press. Well, as I understand it, the event was dangerously over-packed with reporters in too small a space, and so it was shut down, by whom, I don’t know.

Frankly, I don’t care who shut it down because it should have been shut down rather than anyone getting hurt if the situation got out of hand. There are safety rules about that. Some people blamed Rain, of course, BUT just as many people blamed the event organizers for not doing their job properly. I’m glad they got Rain out of there.
