Tickets for Rain’s concert in Malaysia now on sale

KUALA LUMPUR, March 15 — Various media outlets previously reported that South Korean superstar Rain will include Malaysia in his second world tour.

And now the date for his Rain the Squall Tour 2016 in Malaysia, which is set to take place at the Arena of Stars, Genting Highlands, was revealed today as May 21!

The last time we saw Jung Ji Hoon aka Rain was back in 2011 during the F1 Grand Prix concert, but before that he held his Rain’s Coming concert tour in 2007.

Rain was also in Malaysia last year in November to launch the German leather brand MCM at Pavilion Shopping Mall in Kuala Lumpur.

Presented by Galaxy Group, tickets for Rain the Squall Tour 2016 in Malaysia are already on sale with the highest priced tickets being sold at almost RM1,000!

Rain is coming to Malaysia again!

Get ready to kick up a storm – Korean superstar Rain will be returning to Malaysia for his first concert here in five years!

The 33-year-old singer/actor will be performing on May 21, 8.30pm, at the Arena Of Stars, Genting Highlands as part of his worldwide Rain: The Squall Tour 2016.

Rain is one of the most popular Korean entertainers of all time, and was voted one of Time magazine’s most influential people in the world in 2006. Equally popular as a singer and an actor, he has released seven albums to date, and his latest Korean drama series, Please Come Back, Mister, began airing earlier this year.

Rain last performed in Malaysia in 2011, and The Squall Tour is his first concert tour (and seventh overall) since completing his compulsory military service in 2013.

The tour kicked off in Changsha, China on Nov 7, 2015, followed by successful performances in Shenzhen and Wuhan. His most recent stop was in Hong Kong on Jan 30.

Tickets for the show in Malaysia are priced at RM948, RM768, RM598, RM368, RM298, and RM198, and are available at all Galaxy ticketing counters at Mid Valley Megamall and Sungai Wang.
