[Ratings Wed, 10.22.14] ′My Lovely Girl′ Viewers Rage Due to Sudden Cancellation
October 22′s broadcast of SBS′ My Lovely Girl was cancelled due to a baseball game that ran longer than expected. The issue rose when the cancellation happened suddenly without any warning of a cancellation, leaving viewers speechless that they stayed awake for nothing.
It also didn′t help that My Lovely Girl has a history of pushing back its broadcast times four times already – five including October 22′s broadcast.
Viewers turned to the My Lovely Girl website and even called in, complaining and requesting that the broadcast station take consideration for its viewers when changing its schedules around since the drama airs at a late time.

[Ratings: Thurs, 10.23.14] Ratings Drop for ′Spring Day′ and ′Iron Man′ with the Return of ′My Lovely Girl′
The sudden episode cancellation of SBS′ My Lovely Girl probably rang like good news for its competitors as ratings rose.
However, by Thursday night, My Lovely Girl was back and lowering ratings.
MBC′s Spring Days of My Life, which happily broke double digits the night before, dropped to 9.6 by Thursday. The same was with KBS′ Iron Man, which went from 5.1 to 4.1.
Meanwhile, My Lovely Girl managed to make a comeback from a cancellation with the same ratings of 6.9 as its previously broadcasted episode.

Rain could sing OST for ‘My Lovely Girl’
According to sources from within the music industry today, the OST production company for current airing SBS TV Wed-Thu drama ‘My Lovely Girl,’ has made an offer to lead actor Rain to sing an OST track.
A representative said, “We haven’t decided on the OST that Rain would sing, but we are trying to arrange a timing for him to record the song in the studio based on his filming schedules.” ….

Viewers unhappy with sudden cancellation of ‘My Lovely Girl’

It certainly doesn’t help that ‘My Lovely Girl’ had already been canceled four times previously on September 24th and 25th, and October 2nd and 19th, because of the ’2014 Incheon Asian Games’ live broadcast. With yesterday’s cancellation, ‘My Lovely Girl’ has now been canceled five times, and it’s no wonder that viewers are unhappy as they posted on the official website and even called the television station to voice their displeasure….
