[내그녀] Tweets abound: SBS’s marketing of “My Lovely Girl” has been exquisite!

SBSLogoNow THIS is how you market something that you want people to watch. (You should be taking notes, Hollywood, because you are sorely lacking in this skill.)

The full scope of the marketing that new K-drama “My Lovable Girl” (a.k.a. “My Lovely Girl” and “She’s So Lovable”, Korean title 내겐 너무 사랑스러운 그녀) has received for the past month has been awesome, but this past week it has been heavenly. Bravo, SBS. Folks can learn from you. ^@@^

  1. Ok, here I am with a wrapped up, stitched up hand that’s throbbing and itching. I can only type with one hand but I am so annoyed i had to comment.

My point of view is going to piss off some Clouds, but right now I dont care. The marketing for My Lovely Girl is exquisite because:

    (1) it’s being marketed to Asian audiences…..only, with an emphasis on the Korean and Chinese markets. So of course everything is flowing and smooth like butter.

    (2) until Rain gets serious, truly serious about the US market, he wiil continue to allow himself to be cast in US movies that do nothing for his career here. Rain is the one who must require his US reps to get with it and dig in their heels to get him auditions in bigger productions. Notice I didnt say bigger parts, but bigger productions.

    (3) The US market Will and does promote shit, but it promotes what will make M-O-N-E-Y….period. The films they intend to be money makers, get trailers played a thousand times a day. The stars themselves will be on every day time/night time show and everything in between promoting that thing. We see this, we know this.

    (4) Honey Bi i “love” ya, but until you get a better handle on your English skills and then go for the bigger AND better more widely marketed US films, we US Clouds will stay frustrated, as we KNOW you have the talent to take on Hollywood. After seeing The Prince several times, it became quite clear Bruce Willis didnt give two sh*ts about promoting that movie. Had he wanted to he would have, but as much as i liked the film (for Bi’s sake) it really was not a film on par with Hollywood’s best productions. That’s just the honest, raw truth. So this is why there was no promotion, i get that now and so should everybody else.

    (5) This is Yes about Hollywood, but its also about Rain more so and how bad he wants to do a certain thing. Only when HE decides FULLY that he wants to take on Hollywood, will he then require those who work FOR him and on his behalf to get with it…..bottom line.

“Love” you baby boo….Always….now Noona’s gotta go take some meds for this hand.
