The romantic comedy is scheduled to hit domestic screens on November 7th, just days before China’s Singles Day holiday.
“For Love or Money” is about a young woman called Xing Lu from a declining aristocratic family, who finds herself caught between two men and hidden secrets.
Starring Chinese beauty Liu Yifei and South Korean actor Rain, also known as Jung Ji-Hoon.
The film marks Chinese director Gao Xixi’s first big screen debut, having directed TV series for decades, most recently “Mao Zedong” in 2010.

Is this a romantic comedy? If so, I like that. I never want Rain to be in a serious melodramatic tuned movie.

I think it will have a lighter side, but I don’t think it’s a comedy. I do believe it’s going to be more of a melodrama. Besides, you know how Rain loves drama. He loves to emote, right?
But, like you (probably), I am praying for a happy ending, though. Sigh.

I’m thinking that they got that wrong. It looks like a romantic drama to me. But maybe it’s going to be cuter and funnier than we think?

Rain’s movies have always been spectacularly done, this should be no different! I want to see it, though, as usual.
