Rain changes his comeback date, releases “LA Song” video teaser
Looks like Rain is pulling up his comeback date. Which means, he will not make a comeback on the same day as TVXQ.
His agency previously announced that he will drop his 6th studio album “Rain Effect” on January 6, but it’s been pushed up to January 2 to fit his scheduled movie promotional activities abroad.
A Cube DC representative said, “Rain had an extra filming for his Hollywood movie scheduled in January so his whole schedule needed to be revised. The interest for his upcoming album is really high because many people are looking forward to his comeback as its been four years since his last album, and it just happens that the album has been pushed up unexpectedly.”
Rain will promote with double title tracks. He released a music video teaser for the first title track “30 Sexy” earlier today. The vintage style music video teaser for second title track “La Song” shows another side of Rain compared to the first teaser. The song already hints at a fun track with a brass line riding on a fun drum beat along with Rain’s unique use of vocals.
Yes indeed, leave it to Bi to continue leading the Hallyu wave. Coming back with a sound that’s totally different from anything I’ve heard coming from K-music. Also, what’s this I see…..some “chocolate sprinkles” up in LA Song. Diversity in K-music…..Oh yeah, now I can totally get with that! Yes, Bi you are leading the way in K-music in that regard as well. *SMILES*……
Yes, Bi seriously reminds me of why I used to love MJ and to a certain degree Prince and artists like them. They took what was old and put a new spin on it and gave it back to the world in a totally new way. THAT’S how you do the damn thing! Bi seems to have tapped into that way of creating music. I love it and can’t wait until I get my CD in the mail.
What I’ve heard so far sounds nothing like these cookie cutter K-pop boy band groups….(*IMO*). Besides Big Bang, all the others sound the same to me. I know my K-pop Cloud sisters may disagree, but that’s my feeling at least. They sound too similar. LA Song is very different…..*SMILES*
Right off the bat, I noticed MJ influence, Hispanic (that Barcelona flamenco with a “matador” base was HOT), Hip Hop, a little Fred Astaire even… I mean Rain is on the ball!
Hey, fangirling aside. It’s the Artistry that’s “fueling me” at the moment. Sexiness goes without saying, but it’s the growth of a true artist that he’s giving us right about now. I like to see artists that know they’ve got to keep trying new things. They don’t let themselves get stuck marching in place. They try new sounds, even if it sounds totally different from what they did before. That’s the stuff of legends. Bi is definitely charting a course toward that mark.
