Terri and I have to discuss whether or not we can handle a group bulk order at this time, seeing as it is the holidays and we are trying like crazy to wade through all the updates on Rain’s extensive activities, official Cloud activities, emails and social media questions, Rain’s holiday scrapbook and Cloud USA business behind the scenes, and holiday stuff and daily responsibilities for our families.
(See, it won’t just be a matter of the ordering, it will also include packaging every single album up and shipping them separately to you, and a good bit of accounting for monies.)

Pre-Order of Rain’s 6th Album for Overseas Fans (excluding Japan)
As the Cloud Executive has mentioned in her post, we want to help all overseas fans who may have difficulty in purchasing Rain’s 6th album scheduled to be released on 6 January 2014.
There is no limit on the quantity (in fact the more the better) and we also encourage group purchase (bulk order per fan club etc.)

Unfortunately, we aren’t doing a group purchase now from North America, because the album is available to all of us online. It just makes no sense to do that at this point. Even Heidi and The Cloud agreed.

I just read it all, Thank you. You did a super job explaining it all so thoroughly and very easy to follow. I have already preordered my CD and sent it my donation to The Cloud. I still have to do the membership with Soribada. I will be supporting Rain with new music purchases and where it counts towards the rising of the charts. So excited to hear it and look forward to his performances .
I would be interested in the poster as I see Kpopmart price does not include the poster. I will look around at the other sites as well.

I know we all want to order a “physical” album, and that is going to happen. However, getting those albums to us is going to take some time, as all purchases do coming from Asia.
Yesterday we were informed that purchases of Rain’s album from http://kpop.soribada.com/En/ WILL count towards the music charts (and for music shows) in South Korea. What that means is that any purchases made on that site will be reflected in Rain’s official numbers during his comeback. That is really REALLY good news both for Rain and for us fans who just can’t wait to hear Rain’s new music and who don’t want to “pirate” it.
So.
We would like to encourage ALL of you–every single one of you–to do both: download an album from soribada AND purchase a physical album.
Why? Because his official numbers matter–a LOT. And we are his fans. And as his fans, we should care about his official numbers–a LOT.
Please, PLEASE refrain from pirating any of Rain’s new songs and order a digital copy from Soribada instead.

Yes, it is very similar to iTunes. However, it is a subscription-based service, which means you have to buy “points” and use those to download music. I’ve been a member off and off for a few years now, but I don’t always buy a subscription if there’s not any music I want there.
But it’s a handy site if you love K-Pop. Which I do. (Go figure. :-P)

My friend also finally helped me track down Rain’s 5th album, Rainism (Korean version) so my collection is now complete !! I was so thrilled. I literally danced circles around my friend…haha (^_^).

Hi Terri,
I have a couple of questions to make sure I understand the Soribada site correctly. When you buy a membership from them it is only for the one month, correct? They don’t charge you each month for this membershp automatically, you have to renew it ? If you don’t use it all, or don’t renew, do you lose what is left in your account? Confusing to me…it would be so much easier for technologically challenged people such as myself if it were like Itunes. LOL!

I know, right? I don’t know why they make it so complicated.
Yes, your membership is only good for a month unless you set up your account to renew automatically. You can do that if you want. Sometimes I do and sometimes I don’t, depending on how many songs I think I will be purchasing in the next month.
If you don’t use the points you purchase each month before the next due date, then you will lose them–unless there is less than .49 cents in your account. If there are .49 cents or less in it, then those points will roll over.
So, of course you have to weigh your options carefully. As for me, I don’t usually use the auto-renewal. Instead, I just usually think about which artists are going to make a comeback in the next month, and I try to buy as many points as I predict I will use.
I don’t think I’ve ever lost any points, but I also never buy too many points at one time.

Cloud USA HAS decided to do a bulk order for our members. We are currently working out all the details with The Cloud. We will announce the project just as soon as we get it all together. Hopefully, in a few days.

Well, it’s been mentioned that they wanted to do the 9th Cloud registration sometime this month too. I don’t believe I’m breaking protocol by saying that as that info. has been made public. I just know that when the new membership drive happens in earnest, fees will be involved. I’m not complaining really, because supporting Bi is something I try to do, but man all in one month.
How can I not pre-order Honey Love’s album. I’m like damn Bi you making me want too much, too close together. You are in Korea dude. One last hurdle they need to conquer is getting him some U.S. based distributors to sell his wares. It would be so much easier for his U.S. fans.
Still love you “snookums” (*hugs and smooches*) BUT……..geez!

The thing that gives me hope concerning 9th Cloud is that the fee this term is going to be reduced (we paid $55. for Cloud 8, but hey, it went a long way in supporting Rain’s activities these past 3 years). That’s going to help me out a lot. Whew.
I am so not Ms. Moneybags, but the last six months Cloud- and CloudUSA-wise you would think I was.

This is why I stay frustrated and have very little Rain merchandise to show for my almost 4 years of fangirling. I’m the type of person who likes to know up front the “how” of how I will be able to purchase something, etc. I do realize everyone is working behind the scenes very hard to make that happen and I have ALWAYS been appreciative……But……
These are the things somebody like me likes to know Before I make a purchase. (1) The price (2) The particulars on how to purchase. In other words, what method of payment is available to me up front (ex: Visa, MC, AmExp, Cash, Money Order, etc.)…(3) Then the instructions on how to purchase from that particular foreign entity.
Knowing all the particulars up front first help a person like me make the best decision for myself and my pocketbook. Some people don’t care, it’s sign up first figure out the rest later. I don’t like to do business like that. Never have. Maybe I’m alone in how I think and I know I’m in the minority now, especially when it comes to making any type of complaint about anything Bi related, but these are the kinds of things they need to know. That’s if they want to continue to make things easier for JiHoon to make his transition on this side of the ocean. I agree things have grown by leaps and bounds from where it was a few years ago, but there’s still a ways to go. If they can conquer this hurdle for people like me, I will be buying all kinds of Rain “ish.”
