All of Asia has been buzzing for several days about K-Pop’s king Rain being in attendance at this year’s MAMAs on Friday in Hong Kong. And, even with his schedule (he’ll still be on his 2013 ZEPP Tour of Japan and just finished up with Osaka today and Thursday), it’s doable.
Back in September 2009, he briefly left Asia and his Legend of Rainism Tour to promote his movie Ninja Assassin all the way in NYC, Hollywood, and other places in the U.S. And in May 2011, he briefly left his BEST Rain Tour of Asia to jet all the way to Germany for the Dresden Music Festival. A hop across the East China Sea to Hong Kong and back to Japan should be a cinch for him.
It’s just in his DNA.
**NOTE: There’s currently no word about Rain performing at the MAMAs. For the moment, he is simply an attendee.
