Hi, Flower. As I understand it, it doesn’t really mean anything.
ZEPP Tokyo, ZEPP Nagoya, ZEPP Fukuoka, ZEPP Osaka, and ZEPP Sapporo are the Japanese concert venues in those five cities where Rain is holding his concert tour. The “Zepp” in the Zepp concert halls’ names is short for zeppelin, which if you look up in the dictionary is another word for a blimp, airship, or balloon… but it is also a word that’s been made easily recognizable throughout the music industry by the legendary U.K. rock group Led Zeppelin. There was also a famous musician named Arthur Zepp who made huge strides in music in the early 1900s. It seems to me that whoever named the Zepp concert halls did so because the word is such a recognizable part of music history. Or they could have just liked how it sounded, LOL.
Maybe one day, we’ll find out for sure.
