I believe Rain’s Korean bodyguards are usually nice to the fans (but also trying to them in check..if that is ever possible)
Have you guys heard about the Shinee incident in Taiwan where their bodyguard threw a Japanese fan down on the floor and dislocated her shoulder (?). This happened right in front of Shinee as well. Not sure whether Shinee knew about the dislocated shoulder, but they just walked off after this incident and did not check if the girl was okay.
My friend who is a Super Junior fan also met this same bodyguard in Taiwan last month (?) for their Super Show and he tried to hit her across the head with some kind of rolled up thick magazine of some sort when she tried to take some pictures.

- Don’t know about that particular incident. However, we have all seen the video of Shinee’s manager smacking a fan upside her head. The video I saw only showed the girl getting smacked by the manager. While I don’t condone any man putting his hands on a woman like that, it was still unclear by the video what provoked him to respond so violently like that. It was said that the fan was “insistent” and after repeatedly being told to step away, she kept trying to approach the group.
  
  If you are a celebrity, it’s hard to know and to take a chance that strangers who are approaching you are…..Sane. Some people are nice and normal (like most of us…..SMILES) and some people are like the girl with the pink purse. They don’t want to take “no” for an answer and will continue to be “obsessively insistent” until……well…..they get smacked upside the head. What are you supposed to do when a “crazy” keeps coming at you? How do you get them to stop? What’s the proper way to get that person to “stand down”? The right answer may not always come in the split second when it’s needed. So, as I said I don’t condone what Shinee’s manager may have done to fans. However, there is no denying we have all seen some of these girls get “stupid crazy” and it’s really frightening just looking at them on video. I’m like girl You need to be sedated…..like seriously.

  I saw that video of SHINee in Taiwan. Yes, it was pretty rough. But of course, we only saw one point of view. We weren’t there and we certainly didn’t see the guard’s point of view. What were those girls doing so close to those boys? It’s scary to me and I imagine to a bodyguard who is just trying to keep people safe, it can be extremely tough to tell the difference between an over-zealous fan and an anti-fan.
  
  No, we don’t know what goes on behind the scenes to make bodyguards react that way sometimes, but it’s probably not pretty.

    Yes, it is true there are some really “crazy” fans out there. There are a lot of ways to support your favourite artist. But at the end of the day, they are also human (and need a breather) and therefore “stalking” them during their down time is a bit over the board. But I guess I do not understand the mentality of each fan in different countries. I am from Australia by the way and most of us (normal citizens) pretty much leave our celebrities alone.

    - Hello FiFi, nice meeting you as well. I agree with you also. Except here in the U.S. fan reactions run the gamut. Most fans are respectful, especially if security is around, yet others can be just as crazy as miss pink purse. Just depends. I can’t say we leave our celebs alone completely, but we do know there are limits especially if they are eating. Celebs over here can probably have more privacy when they live away from paparazzi towns like LA, NY, Miami. Oh well, I guess the “what would/will you do” question could be put to all of us when our favorite celeb is only a few feet away and you’ve got 20 seconds to decide……Hmm…do I or don’t I approach them? *SMILES*. I guess, just try not to get body slammed by security.
      
      Imagine if Gee (our Cloud sister) had decided not to wait for Bi that day in DC. Then she would have missed out on that once (hopefully twice) in a lifetime moment. *SMILES*

        Yes, it is really a question of “what would/will I do” when your bias does come your way….
        I mean I would definitely do not anything if Hugh Jackman or Chris Helmsworth walked in front of me….but Bi….? Haha……. actually I think I would be too busy staring at them than anything else….(^_^)

I always wonder what he’s thinking behind those sunglasses…maybe..yep these are my people, or holy crap look at all these people will I get out in one piece! LOL! I bet sometimes it is kinda scary.

I totally understand being excited, and it’s hard to stay in your right mind when the man’s around, BUT there is such a thing as going too far and not letting the man have some privacy. *SMH*

  - I hadn’t seen those videos. My gosh, I was embarassed for that woman trying to get through security. I don’t know what the heck she was thinking. How hard it must be to try to have a life when this happens to you every time you’re in public. He certainly shows grace under pressure. I couldn’t do it. I agree he probably is praying nothing bad happens, ’cause he knows who the media/public would blame. It appeared security was doing as good a job as they could. Thank goodness he had them.

  - You also got to love Bi though – he always tries to keep his cool. But yes, if anything happened it will definitely be blown out of proportion by the media.
    Bi is sure good at multitasking isn’t here……..haha
    You can see him trying to act cool as a cucumber, walk as quickly as possible (I gotta get out of here !!) plus trying to sign autographs on his way to the car….
