I saw this for the first time late last night, and all I could do was cry, and laugh, and cry and laugh. And cry. LOL! I will tell you that every word is true and goes double right back to Terri, from me.

Chingu, do you realize that next year will be the 20th year of our friendship? I think 2014 should just be one big party, haha!

Thinking way back to 1994, and how fate brought us together through the Literary Round Table (I was a newbie, and even though everyone in my new writing world was wonderful and fascinating and very helpful, the “matrix” steered me towards you and you to me), just how tightly we would bond and what we had yet to accomplish together was yet to be seen. I couldn’t have predicted any of it. Could you?

You already know this by the way I was blubbering on the phone to you late last night (YES, I do know how my face looks when I cry, as Rain would say, it’s horrible, LOL), you’ve touched me deeply with this, eonni. It’s so lovely, and it’s perfect. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.

  20 years? Has it been that long? Oh my gosh. Time certainly does fly, doesn’t it?
  
  Yes, I remember the day you walked into that conference room at The Mable House. You were so nervous and yet so excited–but still too shy to submit any of your writing to critique at first.
  
  And then one night we went to Buffalos for a bite to eat after a meeting, and you shared some of your writing with me, and I thought, Oh my God. This girl has such a gift…and she doesn’t even KNOW. What an amazing moment that was. It was like Christmas.
