The Black Eagle trailers for the United States’ and the United Kingdom’s DVD releases tell the tale when it comes marketing films to different regions of the world.
For instance, the U.S. version is nowhere near the length of any others, to account for American home viewers’ SHORT attention spans. Haha. Smart. And, whereas CJ Entertainment America gave American moviegoers R2B: Return to Base, Canadian and global distributor Entertainment One gave American home viewers what they gave global English-speakers—Black Eagle.
There is always a reason and a method to the madness, even if we don’t always understand it.

(NOTE: The Indonesia theatrical premiere was 11/17/2012, but I’ve never been able to locate a trailer, official or otherwise. I do believe it was the same trailer as for Singapore and Malaysia, though.)
