   BiAlamode, first I heard their songs, I thought their voice is similar to Stevie Wonder.(^^)
   Terri, I didn’t know they covered famous Japanese songs, it is very interesting.
   Stephe, Julia Stiles’ movie “10 Things I Hate About You” in music video(Crazy) is one of my favorite movie. (^^♪

8. Well, I’ll offer only one more K-Ci and JoJo song. Yes, Terri it’s a Jodeci kind of night. This was the last big hit, that I can remember from them. I just know this song got a lot of radio airplay here in Houston.

9. K-Ci and JoJo were pretty popular among urban radio listeners here in the U.S. at one time. However like so many other artists, they fell victim to their own “personal demons” which added to their declining popularity. JoJo was recently on the reality show “Couples Therapy with Dr. Drew” with his wife and other troubled celeb couples. Hopefully, he and his brother K-Ci will be able to get themselves together, re-group and come back with some great music because they are both very, very talented individuals. Here is one of my favorites. It’s JoJo singing a duet with Chante Moore, another Very talented singer that the public has majorly “fallen asleep” on.

    They are not so famous in Japan, but their song is in the Best Album. It is a pity they are not so popular in US. I started to know them recently, and once I heard their songs, I like them a lot. Thank you of giving me information about them,Terri! I am planning to listen the songs you told me. (´∀｀)♪

    • Thank you for the information yourself. :-} That’s interesting, because I believe they released their last album only over in Japan. I can’t remember what it was called. Let me look that up…yes, it was simply called “Love.”

    I LOVE K-Ci and JoJo, and of course, this is one of my favorite songs of theirs. It’s too bad they aren’t more popular here in the U.S.

    Naoko, I’m told they are much more popular in Japan. Is that true?? They signed with a new label in 2010. So, I’m hoping we see some new songs from them at some point. Such a talented duo. Even their group Jodeci enjoyed limited success here. Frustrating.

    Another of my favorite songs of theirs is “Here He Comes Again” Oh and “This Very Moment” (Their “I Do”). Ladies, you should check them out if you are an old-school R&B fan. :-}

    • Speaking of Jodeci. Here is one of my Jodeci favorites “Come Talk To Me.” The group consisted of two sets of siblings….K-Ci and his brother JoJo, DeVante (the group’s founder) and his brother Davin. This group lost popularity almost as quickly as they came out due in part to DeVante being a control freak (if you believe the gossip) and also because of the rising popularity of K-Ci and JoJo as the lead singers. Again, very talented but personal demons along with industry issues brought the group’s demise.

      However, my ALL TIME favorite Jodeci song is their cover of Stevie Wonder’s “Lately.” This is where the public began to see K-Ci and JoJo as the standout duo they were. BTW, I have seen a couple Korean singers do their own cover of Jodeci’s cover of this song.
