[press release][R2B][warning] Rain returns to North America: CJ Entertainment presents Black Eagle DVD.

Written and compiled by: Stephe Thornton, CloudUSA.org ^@@^

{*Edited to Add: Pre-ordering is pretty important, folks, and so I’m setting my eye on Walmart (how can it get more legit than that?) That’s where my Ninja Assassin DVD came from too, by the way. ^@@^}

With it now being February 5, we’ll go ahead and put up the actual Black Eagle (R2B: Return to Base) North American DVD press release that CJ Entertainment America’s PR team were so kind to share with us last month. Huge thanks to them for allowing us to give you some of this information earlier, in our previous article on January 23 HERE.

Everyone, do be on the lookout for legitimate places where Black Eagle can be pre-ordered for purchase, starting today. Walmart seems to be one. And Best Buy seems to be another (although they need to step it up as far as providing decent information). As was brought to our attention a few weeks ago, Amazon.com may be another. Remember, this is a wide release, so look high and low, and chime in. Release date: March 12! Check out the places the movie is for rental on that date and after!

WARNING! PLEASE USE CAUTION. PLEASE BE CAREFUL! There is more than one “Black Eagle” movie out there now. Like a 1988 release starring Jean Claude Van Damme and a young Master Shô Kosugi. And this one, which appears to be a January 14 Region 2 release in the United Kingdom (we cannot vouch for this at the moment; we have sent an inquiry to CJ). Note the similar DVD box art, but Rain’s North American movie slogan is “Take the Battle to the skies!”, not “To break the enemy, you need to break the rules.” Seeing as payment on Amazon U.K. is indeed in pounds sterling and not dollars, that tells you which one you’re going to get in the mail. Capiche? Be careful where and what you order! And watch what you pay! You get what you pay for. The cheaper is not always the better.

  3. Ok in amazon the Pre-order is $26.98 and is eligible to prime shipping. I wonder is that Best Buy price is reliable.

    • I wonder that myself, Yely. That price looks funny and seems more in tuned with the U.K. (Region 2) version, which makes me suspicious that they’ve gotten their info crossed somewhere… but I don’t know that for sure.

      I think I’m going to give Walmart a shot. Terri got our Ninja Assassin DVDs from there without a problem.
