  1. **spoiler**
I just started watching Gu Family Book this week, on episode 5 now. Interesting story and good acting. The gumiho character, Wolyong is everything a “superhero/monster” should be——tall, tan and terrific. Of course, I didn’t like what happened between he and his wife, because she tossed him to his captors like he meant nothing to her. Afterwards she recognized how she really felt about him and began planning her vengeance for herself and her child. The son (Kang Chi) is handsome (not in a Flower Boy way) and has a very spirited attitude. He doesn’t know about his heritage, but I’m certain that info will come to him soon. But back to his Daddy——-#teamgumiho http://youtu.be/mcqP5hPmUWE

  2. I watched “Kimi Wa Petto”, the japanese version with Jun Matsumoto and the Korean version “I’m your pet” with Jan Geun Suk, loved both of them but I like the japanese version more. Why? Jun Matsumoto!!! The man is so athletic he played the dancer part better and he’s a charming pet without being too much. Jan Geun Suk melts your heart with his smile and gorgeous face but that only gets you the first 15 minutes of the movie, maybe? After that, it gets boring! Also, Jun Matsumoto is way sexier when it comes to the loving scenes. I totally believed his passion even when he looks petite next to the girl in the movie! Jun Matsumoto rocked my world in Hana Yori Dango and kept doing it in Kimi Wa Petto! Here are two videos of them, enjoy! 😀

God gawd!!!!…………Episode 16, they are milking the hell out of that first kiss. It’s driving me nuts. Like let’em kiss already.

You know if they ever bring the American TV show Scandal to Korean TV, people might spontaneously combust. We Americans are a tad impatient. I like romance too of course…but Geez!

OMG, just as I was afraid of… Daddy Wolyong is in full pissed-off mode when it comes to EVERYBODY — all humans, his BFF Mr. Monk, and even Kangchi. And who can blame him, what with the way he was betrayed on all levels and killed like that. Oh, dear. Dear, dear me. This ain’t gonna be pretty at all.

  6. Spoiler Alert!!!!!

Bia and Stephe, you’re right in everything you said, this drama is a disaster when it comes to keep the logic of the story but I’m staying till the end to watch how they put the pieces together. Sighh, It’s a shame cuz the actors are fantastic! I loved the scene between Kang Chi and Tae Soo, that profound love between brothers finally broke the suggestion Tae Soo was into. The dialogue was great and they delivered that scene flawlessly! I feel for Tae Soo cuz he’s being thru so much but Kang Chi got the worst part and in that scene and the scene were he cried with the admiral, you really get a clear view of his pain. I like Suzy, the girl is soo beautiful she looks like a doll and she’s doing a great job as an actress. The chemistry between Kang Chi and Yeo Wool you can feel it, specially when he goes wild! It’s true that a kiss was in order when he saw her dressed as a girl but I know that kiss scene is coming soon and Seung Gi is a great kisser! I think is going to happen next week! Daddy gumiho is soo hot, OMG, I love that character!! Also, I can hear him talk all night, damn, his voice is sexy! Now that he’s a demon, he’s yummy! Lol!! I think that the lady with the red hat may be Kang Chi’s mom cuz of her tatoo. If she is, Kang Chi will be rich. That may allow him to get married to Lady Yeo Wool and get the Inn back. I feel so bad for Gon, he’s hillarious when he’s jelous but we know he will never get Yeo Wool. He may end forever alone but I hope he can get a girl, maybe Chun Joo, she’s strong and I like the way the story is making her stronger. I think she will become the next madam in the brothel. I hope the bad anjussi gets what he deserves, maybe get cut into pieces by Daddy gumiho!! Regarding Faith, did you know that the main actress’ husband got jelous of Lee Min Ho? Yep, he was that stupid! I mean, he married an actress, of course she will get kissing scenes! Besides, Lee Min Ho can get any woman he wants and I think he will choose a pretty, young girl!! Aishh! Seriously, what was he thinking? But the chemistry between them was undeniable!! Lol!!! So much so he believed it!! 😀

    • *** SPOILER ALERT ***

If the Lady Doctor in Faith has a jealous husband then he’s being really foolish. First and foremost, she’s YOURS dummy. Secondly, she’s an actress getting paid (*cha ching*). The fact that she’s making big money alone ought to make him happy. On the off chance that she found Lee Min Ho attractive guess what husband, she will bring All That HEAT home to you. So YOU can take care of that. Why you tripping homie? It’s all gravy from where I sit. LOL! It’s the same with Rain also. Bi may “stir the pot” sometimes, but Hubby is the one who gets the “home cooked meal.” *SMILES*……………………………..

I saw comments by other viewers alluding to the Lady in the Red Hat possibly being Seo Hwa reincarnated or Seo Hwa possibly having been saved from death and been able to heal, marry and become wealthy. I hadn’t thought about the fact that her wealth would go to her son. I also agree that it would be nice for Gon to get someone special because Yeo Wool and Kang Chi are destined for each other. You are absolutely right Mari. When actors/actresses have REAL chemistry/attraction to each other, it just oozes out of their pores and flows onto the screen. A person can’t fake real attraction to someone else, even if it is acting. The base attraction is there. It’s palpable to the viewer and if they are talented in the craft….all the better.

Let’s not even TALK about Daddy demon and all his sexy bedroom sexiness….from the voice to the hair over one eye to the sexy lips when he smiled that wicked smile……Good Mercy!!

      • Daddy demon is going to be in Heirs, Lee Min Ho’s new drama and I can’t wait to see this man in modern clothes, specially jeans…jeezus!! You’re right, good chemistry do oozes from the actors to the screen. In Faith there was one kiss but also lots of touching!! There was the scene were she took Min Ho’s hand between hers to defrost it, that was hot, also the scene were she was sick and he supported her with his body and the hottest one to me, almost at the end, when they were in bed together and she touched his lips, damn, that was epic hot! As you said, I’m sure she went home warm and toasty several times during the drama! Lol!! Suzy and Seung Gi have great chemistry too and there are rumors that they’re getting close. I don’t blame them, he’s sexy and single, she’s beautiful, single and he already touched her boob!! Lol!! I’m waiting for a hot kiss this week!! Here’s a video of Faith so you can watch how many touching scenes they shared. I was surprised when I watched this cuz with all the drama and action going on, I was too involved to really be aware of them and here you can watch them together. Enjoy! 😀

Oh one more. Stupid scene (5) Kang Chi is counting peas and Daddy demon walks up on him stares at him for several seconds. Unnerved, Kang Chi jumps up and demands to know who he is. In the process of jumping up, peas fall all over the floor. You turn to look at the spilled peas for about ten long seconds??? You don’t keep Daddy demon in your sights??? Possibly chase after him, after you have gone out night after night to try and find out what is out in the forest killing people. After all, you sense a windy chill in the air whenever Daddy is near. Gu Family Book, Episode 13:

LORD. Let me start at the end — the preview scenes for 14. When Daddy Wolyong nine-tail gave his trademark smile with the wave of hair down over one eye… man, my heart was like, galloping. That is one hot ass gumiho, excuse my French. And speaking of, I was so glad that he didn’t attack BFF the Monk when he finally decided to reveal himself. I wasn’t sure what he was going to do, seeing as his last memory was of utter betrayal and dying quite painfully and that’s what he woke up to, and what with him running around savaging everybody as the demon he may now be.

Well, Chongjo dear, just make the best of the bed you have made. I understand that Kangchi’s transformation scared the crap out of you, really, I do, but at least the “monster” saved your butt. But if you’d rather pull a Sohwa and run right back to the evil murdering chancellor you were saved from (I knew you would do that all along), all I can say is I hope lying around with his dusty old behind night after night is worth it. Whatever.

Back in Epi 12, I believe… that was a WONDERFUL piece of writing where Kangchi won poor pitiful Taeso over with sincerity and willingness to be a punching bag. And thankfully Taeso did finally get it all out. That was really a great scene between those two. My heart was aching. Bravo!

Finally, someone has blown into town who can give the evil murdering chancellor a run for his money when it comes to having power. And doggone, it’s a woman! That’s got to stick in the old dog’s craw, LOL! Whoever this Japanese chick is ain’t good.

Didn’t Yeol look pretty in her hanbok? Aw! 🙂

    • Yes Lord, Daddy demon (using your term is one HOT @ss demon)…..sexy-as-hell!! That’s why baby gumiho Kang Chi’s got that “gumiho swag” too! I’m waiting for him to go gumiho one more time. Something very sexy about his unnatural green eyes.

Mari, you know….I think there are times when Lee Seung Gi is just the cutest thing. Although he’s not a classic beauty at first glance (like Daddy gumiho), I’ve decided that he is handsome. He’s one of those people whose personality/demeanor tips the scale in his attraction factor, which makes him quite appealing. Not to mention, when he gets vulnerable and puts the puppy dog eyes on you….that’s when he could probably get anything he wanted….(wink, wink).

Stephe, YES loved the scene with Kang Chi and Tae So. I’m glad they found their way back to each other. I also, kinda feel sorry for Gon. He’s in love with Yeo Wool too, but unfortunately his love will never be acknowledged by her, I don’t think. He’s a good man so I hate to see him hurt too…..and he’s a cutie as well. Boy, Gu Family Book is “killing” me. Daddy gumiho demon is back with a vengeance. Sexy – as – hell……..Good Gravy!!

Stephe, I have to agree with you on about some of these scenes. These writers can prolong a budding romance until blood drips from That turnip. Good Mercy! It’s time for the kiss already. These Korean dramas are notorious for building up the heat and no follow through…..or follow through with a kindergarten kiss.

Stupid scene (1) Chung Jo pulls away from Kang Chi the first time he came to get her from the giseang house. I know I sure as hell would have gone with him….no questions. Then you later get mad/jealous when you realize his new crush knows all about his “dark” side. Don’t get mad girl, You pushed him away. Stupid continuous scene (2) Kang Chi thinking Yeo Wool was a man as long as he did….nobody is that blind. Stupid scene (3) the girl you are in love with asks you if you still have another in your heart and can she be erased…..you answer with “I’m hungry”……Huh? Stupid scene (4) Yeo Wool runs off into the forest looking for Kang Chi who has disappeared yet again. After hearing strange noises (Daddy demon) in the forest, you take off running then…oopsy…you trip and fall. REALLY? This highly trained and adept martial artist didn’t just do the typical damsel in distress tripping and falling so the big-bad-demon-can-roll-up-on-me routine. Chung Jo tripping yes….she was the dainty princess but Yeo Wool tripping just seemed stupid.

I agree Terri, the actors in this one are doing a good job of making their characters compelling which pulls the audience in. Otherwise, the “cheese factor” is off the charts in some scenes.

    Gu Family Book, Episode 10:

Okay, now. They could have chosen a much better and less used way for Kangchi to accidentally touch Youl’s breast and find out she’s a woman. Youl is a highly trained officer in martial arts, swordsmanship, and surveillance. She is as nimble-footed as a ninja. But I’m supposed to BELIEVE that at an absolutely life-or-death moment during a critical mission, she 1) trips over her own feet, and 2) makes a high-pitched “oops” noise loud enough to be heard through a wall by the enemy, just so that Kangchi can save her from falling. Seriously? LMAO! No. NO.

Yes, she has somewhat of a fever from the burn on her arm, but I’m sure she’s had worse and like I said, she’s highly trained. Even if she had tripped, making that noise at that moment? *smh*

Waaay too contrived. Suzy probably laughed her ass off when she read that in the script.

    In general:

Don’t you love it in every historical drama when someone gets run through by a sword, and all the witnesses just stand there staring at the sword through the person for some five to ten minutes? Staring. Staring. If that were one of us, we’d have bled out. (I know, I know, it’s only for dramatic effect, of course, but that doesn’t stop it from looking silly. LMAO) Anyways. 🙂

  14. ***SPOILERS!!***

I just finished Episode 2 of Gu Family Book. I LOVE this drama, it’s right up my alley. But I swear, this episode was one of the most irritating I’ve ever watched, simply because of one character — Sohwa.

It wasn’t bad enough that she stupidly — and I mean STUPIDLY — brought about Wolyong’s destruction because she just HAD to go picking herbs as a wanted felon. She took it even further. Let’s see…

On one side, the nasty highborn murderer who set your innocent father up, had him executed, sold you to a brothel, had your brother hung, caused your maid to hang herself, regularly terrorized and killed the townspeople, and promised your dad he would break you in as a sexual slave himself before cutting your throat.

On the other side, the nine-tailed spirit guardian of the mountain, who used his magic to save you from highborn murderer, fell in love with you, married you, and undertook great suffering to try to become human for you. His only fault was that he was scared to tell you he wasn’t human.

After she’d screwed everything up and the chips were down, who’d she willingly go back to? Highborn murderer.

Sohwa started out so strong as a character, I was so impressed, but then she ended up amazingly weak and and just dumb. All the people who sacrificed their lives for her, including Wolyong, did so for absolutely nothing. I feel cheated. I am SO glad to be done with that episode and on to the next, when Lee SeungGi steps in to play the baby born to her and Wolyong with a new family, and I hopefully never have to set eyes on her again. *blechh* 😦

She got scared and betrayed his love, so sad. But I’m not sure if he’s really death or if he became a demon. All I know is that the earth took him so I think we may see him again in the drama. In Faith, they kept Lee Min Ho’s character aloof too long (although I DO understand why). I just hate when Directors “waste” time capitalizing on their actors screen chemistry. When the leads connect, it helps the audience connect. At least to me. LOL!

You know I forgot that daddy gumiho has become a full on demon now…..OMG!! Of course father and son will do battle, but romantic that I am hopes that somehow before one of them gets killed they will find their way to each other. I want Kang Chi to at least get to know his father on some emotional level. Seo Hwa (his mother) and Chung Jo (his first love) really irked me by turning on their gumiho loves……like instantaneously. Neither woman even tried to understand. I would like to think that even if I was frightened and possibly didn’t want to be with him anymore, at least some part of me would try to understand what he IS exactly before I completely turn my back. But hey, that’s what I say now. LOL!

The first part was SO good, I thought I wouldn’t be able to get into Part 2. I was wrong. It has the same flavor/elements, yet slightly different. I also thought I wanted to see a Baek Sun catch a bullet in episode 1, because I hated his character so bad at the end of Part 1. However, the writers threw a twist in there on me and I was like….dammit Now I’m intrigued with him again. *SMILES* It’s getting to the “juicy” stage now though.

  18. I watched Hana Yori Dango, the japanese version of Boys over Flowers and it was really good! This story never gets old!! The japanese “Jung Pyo” is a great actor called Jun Matsimoto and the japanese “Jandi” is Inoue Mao, she’s a good actress too, pretty and high spirited. I must say that I still like the korean version better but the japanese version is more complete, they get married and they even go a year later so I like that as well. I love Lee Min Ho, he’s a great actor and his “Jung Pyo” is unforgettable but in the japanese version, the character is stronger, meaner and raw. Jun Matsimoto is a cute guy but he’s also very athletic, fights in Hana Yori Dango are better because he can do more. I enjoyed the story a lot and became a fan of Jun Matsimoto! Lol!! I also discover that he’s a good singer too, a rocker! Jun Matsimoto has a strong sex appeal, he only kiss with Inoue Mao a few times but you can feel that hot chemistry between them during the drama. There are different twists in this drama so is not a repetition. If you have the time, it’s in Dramacrazy. This drama has three parts, season 1, season 2 and a movie were you can watch the real ending. Here’s a video, enjoy! 😀

    • I’ve seen Hani Yori Dango also and like you I prefer the Korean version of BOFs as well. During my BOFs days, I became aware there were all these other versions and the Japanese version (Hani Yori Dango) was the original. So I wanted to see it in comparison. Jun Matsumoto is a little cutie and I must say in some aspects I preferred the Makino character to Jan Di. Makino had a little more gumption than Jan Di in some aspects to me. I also agree that Jun’s character was even meaner than Jun Pyo and I did like the fact that they actually filmed a wedding and their first year anniversary with the crazy TV movie.

Although Mari, I’m not crazy about Jun Matsumoto’s singing (gotta be honest), but I respect the fact that he’s an all around performer with his group Arashi. I’ve also watched a couple other dramas he starred in (I’m bad with the names of theses things). In one drama, he was a famed ballet dancer who ended up being this female executive’s pet after she found him bloodied at her door step. In another that I saw he was a struggling actor who was nerdy little goofball, in another he was a reformed young felon who was half Filipino and worked at a restaurant. He was given a hard time because he was half Filipino and he took a liking to a blind girl. Unfortunately, his young felon past came back to haunt him just when he was trying to turn his life around. He also played the true story of a young Japanese man with a wife and young child, struck down with a debilitating disease at 25. The movie portrayed his struggle to live with the disease.

I’ve seen Jun in several dramas and movies since Hani Yori Dango now that I think about it. The most provocative was a drama that involved an incestuous relationship. His character fell in love with and had a sexual relationship with his sister. I was like….Whoa. That wouldn’t fly over here on TV (at least I don’t think….these days I can’t be too sure), but the story was actually very good in how they portrayed this provocative subject on film. As a viewer you become more invested in the emotional aspects of the characters and the “what’s making them tick” as opposed to dwelling on the sexual aspect of the story. Also, those scenes are not salacious, so you are not grossed out necessarily. It allows the viewer to become invested in the story as opposed to being turned off by it. Now THAT’S good writing (IMO), because that’s no small fete with regard to this subject. I’m also surprised that a well known seasoned actor would take on such a provocative subject. In the U.S., actors would be too worried about their reputations and this group or that group taking offense….so that’s why I don’t think a story like that would get made in the States. If one has, I stand corrected.

      • I only watched a video of Jun Matsumoto’s singing and like it cuz he looked so sexy in it but I know his voice isn’t that great. I included that part in my comment just because I like the fact that he sings. Lol!! I agree with you about Makino being a stronger character than Jan Di, in fact, the story is similar to BOF but there are enough differences between both characters and what happen to them that is worth it to watch both dramas. Jung Pyo was crazy but respectful with his mom and father. In HYD that character don’t have a father figure and don’t respect his mom at all. The only person that controls him somehow is Makino. I like both stories but my F4’s forever and ever will be the ones from BOF. The F4’s fashion, personalities and lifestyles are way better in BOF than in HYD. Also, the scenery is better. JeJu Island is beautiful, those scenes there were georgeous, Jun Pyo’s hotels and the school’s facilities looked awesome. I’m just getting to know Jun Matsumoto so I have to look up those dramas and movies, they seem interesting. Thanks for the info! 😀

        • Exactly, all the same elements are there in both versions but enough differences they each stand alone on their own. However, you know Lee Min Ho was the first one I “cheated” on Bi with so it’s BOFs for me too. Besides, you’re right it was just visually better and the flower boys were much prettier too. *SMILES*……………………………..

The man went thru hell during this movie and it was worth it. Song Ji Hyo was great too, great acting from both of them. But the story line could’ve being better. It was funny but a bit confusing. It’s a lite comedy, nothing more but Kim Jae Joong made his point ot stripping himself of the perfect sexy Idol image which I think it was his goal with this movie. You can see a human side of him that I think few people have seeing. Lol!! You can watch it on You Tube. Here’s the trailer.

I started to watch Gu Family Book and it seems interesting. I’m watching because is Lee Seung Gi and cuz it seems fun. I’m also watching Warrior Baek Dong Soo, it’s a 30 episodes drama, a first for me, but it’s good. I’m watching because Yoo Seung Ho is in it and I miss him. I’m on episode 10 and so far so good. His character is a tormented child cuz his father killed his mom for some vision he had. 😀

I know he was in The moon that embraces the sun but that one is on my list of must watch. 😀

  21. Just finished watching the 2004 movie 태극기: 휘날리며 (Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War), starring two of my favorite actors, Jang DongGun and Won Bin, on Starz Cinema HD. It’s about how the life and relationship of two brothers who are very close were completely torn apart by the start of the Korean War.

Good looks and hunkiness aside, DongGun’s and Won Bin’s talents in this piece cannot be put into words, nor can the plot, which was unpredictable and kept me wide-eyed, on the edge of my seat. This movie was gritty, loaded with details, breathtakingly real, and in-your-face intense. The cinematography — amazing. Though I had a good cry in certain spots and near the end, I also felt triumph for the REAL people who lived through those unspeakable times and survived to make a new life.

Kind of puts going through “hard times” in perspective, if you ask me.

I don’t have a problem hanging with graphic war movies, but if you have a weak constitution, you might want to sit this one out. It would be a shame, though, for anyone to miss out on a movie that shows how DongGun and Won Bin aren’t just pretty faces. They can get unpretty and earn every single won of their paychecks.

Bravo, guys! I will carry the memory of this one for a long time.

    Stephe ^@@^

P.S.: Tae Guk Gi is the name of the South Korean flag, just as the U.S. flag is Old Glory or the Stars and Stripes, England’s flag is the Union Jack, etc.

I just watched “A Werewolf Boy” last night starring Song Joong Ki. I gotta say, Song is one damned good actor. His depth of emotion blows me away. He’s another one who really knows how to use subtlety to convey deep emotion. Also, just how meticulously he portrays a person with wolf qualities was like….whoa. He really had those “dog-isms” down pat. The story was a sad one though yet incredibly romantic in many ways. The ending sucked rocks…..only because you know how I like my endings!

  23. I’m loving Dong Yi. I’m 32 episodes in, half way there. I swear the queen (who was once the “royal consort”) is a royal biatch along with her evil crooked, opportunistic brother and mother. Dong Yi is rising up the ranks. The king made her his royal consort (in a strategic politic power move), but he really is in love with her and she with him. So it’s what he wanted anyway. Of course the Southern faction is not having it and the Western faction won’t recognize her because she was a low born servant girl, who became a palace maid. Poor thing has no one on her side except the King, her adopted brother and the royal police commissioner.

I tell you, women will talk themselves out of a relationship in a minute. Dear Gongju — if you make a guy that you’re crazy about (JaRyong) wait for you in bone-chilling cold outside, and he waits for TWO hours and then has no complaint at all when you finally show up, HE LIKES YOU. A lot. You mean to tell me you can’t see that? LOL!

  25. Dear Hyeongdo (“Hooray For Love”, episode 18…)

There is nothing I’d like to do better right this minute than stab you in your eye with a FORK.

So years ago you cheated on Jeonghee, got some sweet young thing pregnant (Juri), left Jeonghee and your teenaged daughter to marry your young baby mama, and got yourself in a world of hell because Juri and her rich family are a real pill to swallow. And now that your poor pitiful self has somehow eased your way BACK into Jeonghee’s graces (is she STUPID or what) and both families are in danger of imploding when they find out about y’all, you give her some corny line during one of your secret dates that “you can’t breathe without her.”

If that was the case, you’d have been dead some ten years ago, bucko.

Or is that only when you can’t keep up with your fool of a young wife when it comes to either money or the horizontal mambo? Eh?

    What a douche. LMAO

The young wifey is on to you. I cannot wait until you are caught and humiliated. Her pitbull of a mother is going to shred you into bok choi. It’s gonna be awesome. LOL!

I’m watching because is Song Hye Gyo, the leading lady from Full House and Kim Bum, the cute “Pottery boy” from Boys over Flowers. I know the leading man, Zo In Sung because he was the lead man in “Frozen Flower” but is my first time watching his work in dramas. So far, it’s great and I think is gonna get really good because in the story she’s blind and he is a gambler with a heavy debt to pay so he lies to her saying he’s her brother so he can get some of her huge company. Then comes the problem cuz he likes her and she’s starting to like him. Ughhh I don’t know how that woman is going to survive!! But he’s gonna be in hot water cuz when she discovers he’s not her brother, well, that woman is not an easy one to handle! I think he’s gonna pay his life’s karma in full with her! 😀

  27. **** SPOILER ALERT **** **** SPOILER ALERT ****

Well, as I stated below. I am now into the drama Dong Yi. Like the one you are watching Stephe that has 57 episodes, Dong Yi has 60 episodes and I’m on episode 17 (which most dramas would be almost over by ep. 17). Dong Yi is about a very bright, effervescent little girl who is considered low born back in ancient Korea. Her father and brother and god-brother were apart of a secret rebel group that fought against the ruling regime at the time she was a child. The Southern and Western factions (scholars) fight constantly and if memory serves one of the Western ministers (cabinet members) had members of the Southern faction assassinated. Dong Yi’s father, older brother, god-brother and their entire rebel group were falsely accused of these assassinations and subsequently taken into custody. After a attempted rescue, her father and brother were executed. The god-brother initially survives and saves/hides Dong Yi. The attempted rescue is where all the rebels were trapped and most killed. As a last request of Dong Yi’s father, Chun Soo (god-brother) promises to take care of Dong Yi. However, he was then stabbed by one of the palace guards and fell over a cliff and thought to be dead. In six years time, Dong Yi has grown into a young woman (18-19 yrs old) still believing her god-brother Chun Soo is dead until one day, they are reunited. Whew…………………

So much has happened in these 17 episodes. Dong Yi meets the reigning King (he is disguised as a regular gentleman), they become friends, the King has taken a liking to her as well. The King’s royal concubine (mistress) also comes into Dong Yi’s life, first as a child, then later as a young woman, takes a liking to her and helps her improve her station in life. However, this concubine is one cold, manipulative “Biatch.” The Queen Mother is no joke either. I love this drama!! Oh and Chun Soo played by actor Bae Soo Bin is another Cutie Pie of major proportions…..Oh Yes. Especially in his ancient Korean regalia and with a goatee too……Have Mercy!! *SMILES*…………………………….

I’m watching Episode 16 of Hooray For Love (2011), and I cannot believe that DongWu and JaeMi actually TOLD EACH OTHER THEIR FEELINGS, after which he LAID A LONG KISS on her that meant business. Since when does that happen?

There are 57 episodes total, so I know they’re going to have to go through a long process of breaking up and making up again and again, over and over and such, but dang, all I’m used to is people beating around the bush until 55 minutes into the last episode, and then MAYBE some kind of half-@ssed teddy bear kiss or some such nonsense. (Okay, so JooYoung and Woobin in “A Thousand Kisses” pulled out the stops and suddenly got down with each other at the hotel in order to say goodbye forever, in the middle of the series, but that was an exception!)

Sheesh. I need to rewind that to make sure I saw it. LOL!

DongWu, I luuuuurve you. I’ll probably hate you tomorrow, but right now I luuuuurve you with your sexy self. *sigh* *hands clasped*

  29. I ended watching Cheongdamdong Alice and it was good. The story line is a bit slow and sometimes you ask why the leading lady is the way she is, I mean, sometimes her reasons don’t justify some of her pain or actions but it was entertaining. She’s Moon Geun Yeung, she also did Marry me Mary so I knew she was good. The leading man is really handsome! It’s my first time watching a drama with Park Si Hoo and I like him a lot. The story is about this poor girl who wants to be a fashion designer but she can’t get hired cuz she never went to Paris or out of Korea. She goes to this interview for a famous fashion bags designer and there she gets to know the man of her life. But he broke up with a woman a while ago so he’s traumatized and can’t believe in women anymore. What I like the most about the drama is that you get to know about fashion, the way business is done and the way it gets into people’s lifes. 😀

And I got into this drama where some powerful businessman found out that his protege son has gotten someone pregnant but wasn’t claiming the child. The man went completely off on the son for being an A-hole and appeared to be going to cut him out of the business some kind of way, and the son was freaking out BIG TIME, and the man had a heart attack or something in his car from the stress and crashed, and the son just stood there watching him bleed out and stuff.

I forgot to check out the title of the thing so I could look it up online. LOL

But he’s really georgeous so there’s no way he’s gonna look bad. Lol!! The story is really good, it’s one of those “what if” movies. The story’s point is what if there’s a mailbox were you can send messages to people you loved or hated that passed away. Very interesting story, Jae Joong delivers cuz the guy have this misterious aura about him and he already looks like an angel but there’s this vulnerability and deep sorrow in him too that’s not easy to get out but he does. The leading lady is adorable and I enjoyed her acting. It’s a crying movie dealing with death so it’s not for everyone but it’s romantic too and it ends in a happy note. I really like it. 😀

U.S. TV I’m watching Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, Once Upon A Time, Our America with Lisa Ling and Scandal, Scandal, Scandal! Did I mention Scandal. If you don’t watch this show, you are really missing out. It’s cast of characters are all flawed individuals operating in the high powered world of Washington, D.C. politics. Olivia Pope played by Kerry Washington is a “cleaner” of sorts. High powered people that get themselves into potentially scandalous situations come to her to “clean” it up. She is no holds barred. Olivia and Fitzgerald Grant “Fitz” (the President played by Tony Goldwyn btw) are having an adulterous affair and their chemistry is H-O-T but they do genuinely love each other. The crazy part is you find yourself “rooting for” the mistress to be with the cheating husband. LOVE this show! Shonda Rimes you have created another awesome show!
