FYI, everyone: Rain did mention on Speeding at least twice that he and KCM would be leaving the show in 2013 because of new entertainment soldiers coming in who would be given the opportunity and taking their place. He said this on October 28 and on November 3, at the beginning of the shows.

And the timing can’t be any more perfect. I for one don’t want Rain on the air having to take abuse from people writing in. Him reading hurtful things from them just so that I have the pleasure of listening to him is not an option, at least in my book.
I don’t want him near the public right now. They’ve done enough damage and he’s had enough.

Woke up early this morning as I couldn’t sleep and just watched all the videos posted on twitter last night and all I can say is…. Rain is an amazing performer with an incredible voice, he has so much talent and belongs back on the stage performing. Some of the videos I had never seen before. Can’t wait for all these months to go by and see what he has in store for the future. I truly hope these days however he can he is able to channel and switch the negatives into something positive. Would love to see his face when he starts receiving the storm of yellow ribbons and it is for sure to give him the boost he needs and lets him know that we are all there for him and waiting for his return to what he loves. I need to find some more of his cds . Thank you again for sharing all those awesome videos. I am energized to start the day with a huge smile on my face.

Isn’t he though? I’m so glad that you enjoyed watching the videos. I enjoyed watching them again too. I’m delighted that I had time to do that for all of us last night. I think we all needed to smile last night. Even me. 🙂
If you do find a good source for his CD’s, especially here in The U.S., please let us know, as I don’t think there are many of us who have all of his albums yet. They are so difficult to find.

well, well, well…..lookee here……Dallas now has a Korean radio station….KKDA 730 AM. The original station was sold and January 1, 2013 began playing K-Pop and traditional Korean music. The website also shows K-Pop videos. The previous broadcasting on Soul 73 (KKDA 730 AM) was 60’s/70’s/80’s blues, R&B and gospel for 42 years with most listeners being 60+. I have a friend who was an avid fan of the station and she told me about the change—there wasn’t any notice to the listeners except a message on their website saying the sale was final and couldn’t be changed.

Big Bang and Psy tied at 1st place on SoulTrain’s Top 10 Dance Tracks of 2012! That is REALLY something…….K-Pop being recognized by Soul Train—Wow, Fantastic Baby! (in my T.O.P voice)
In Dallas at Big “T” Plaza, I saw a group of kids dancing to Gangnam Style video in front of one of the beauty supply stores and NONE of them missed a step! (BTW, Big T Plaza is the setting for the original My Dougie video by Lil’ Wil)

Yey!! The success of Gangnam Style is beyond words! In my country, Puerto Rico, I’ve heard Gangnam everywhere, even in political meetings!! To me it’s still surreal!! Kpop is getting more and more attention. Now I can even hear kpop in various radio stations! I think this fever with Kpop is going to last for a while so I’m really happy and enjoying people’s reactions!! 😀

Talking about amazon. I saw the Return to Base DVD in the website. It threw me off cuz it’s called BlackEagle: Return To Base. I didn’t know the black eagle was included in the title. The bad news is that we have to wait until march 12, 2013 for its release so it can be ship then. They are taking Pre-orders though. I’d rather wait until its release day.

Yes, they have changed the name for the North American release to Black Eagle: Return to Base.
CJ Entertainment America told us that was coming a month or so ago, but we were waiting on official word from them about the release before we said anything. I guess they forgot to let us know. LOL.
We’ll post more information about this as soon as we receive official word.

Boy, Psy is everywhere. I was just watching one of my “guilty pleasure” shows (Betty White’s Off Their Rockers) and Betty did a mini spoof with Psy. Beiber’s manager is really maximizing Psy’s U.S. exposure with Gangnam Style I tell you. I hear that song almost everyday now. It’s crazy….really great for Psy though. *SMILES*………………

Love that picture of Rain, he looks so young but kind of sad. Move on is one of my faves songs but I like it more in japanese, I don’t know why but I love to hear his husky voice singing that song in japanese, it sounds right to me. Love it! 😀

This is the first time I’ve heard the Korean version. I agree I like the Japanese version. Until this thread I didn’t realize that the version on my cd was him singing Japanese and not Korean. Yeahhh that’s bad.

Yeah, that happens, specially at the beginning when you’re getting used to hear asian languages. Everything sounds similar! Lol!! I got trouble learning asian names too, but eventually you get them and get the differences between chinese, japanese and korean. 😀

u know when i first learn that RAIN can sing many negative langues i was deep impressive me so good he not just can sing dance but apparently he sing that he give Japanese … chinese …. Korean all in love the passion of him singing it just SUNK u heart and want to hear more as for more i wish he can do here in USA so those peoples what is truly MEGA STAR Rain he and why many R&B would love like to work him and even ACTOR celebrities would want him featuring and cast in their move he so talents and smart he very have SINFUL deep voice and make u just want to set their enjoy listing to him i did that when bored and yet reply some his MV too

Eternal Rain is the only pre Return to Basic cd I’ve been able to get here in the States. I sure hope at some point in the future I can buy the early CDs as a re-release of some sort. I really want It’s Raining and Rain’s World and NOT have to pay the inflated prices individual sellers are asking for on Amazon’s marketplace. There’s an offer by an Amazon seller for a new copy of Rain’s World cd for….drum roll please….$180 And that’s the cheaper of the two offers. The second available offer is for $300 Outrageous!! 😦

We are pretty sure that Rainy will let us all know when his CD’s are being released. Especially since they did such a good job with his DVD package.
I’m hoping that they distribute his future albums via the regular U.S. channels, which includes I-tunes, but we won’t know that until the future.
We will, of course, share any information on anything Rain as soon as we get it–including how the heck we can buy his CD’s. I know we were able to buy Back to the Basic at our Korean music and video stores here in Atlanta, but it wasn’t on i-Tunes, which was weird.

I bought Back to Basic on Amazon at a reasonable CD price…like something in the teens. Eternal Rain…I just went ahead and spent the $52 because I REALLY wanted a Rain full CD. So I enjoy listening to that CD everyyyyy day for that kind of money LOL.
