[KCM] : We soldiers seem like we are always busy and never have time to relax.
[Rain] : When I was a recruit and a teaching assistant, I thought I wished I would rest every Monday.
[KCM] : I know you almost didn’t have time to sleep, especially when you were a teaching assistant.
[Rain] : I think I had a hard time at that time, but time seemed to solve the problem. Anyway, I want you listeners to savor this moment while you are listening to the show. {I surely did savor it. [Rain] : It’s the time to listen to nice music which eases your mind. ‘The Song I’d Like To Share’ segment.
[KCM] : My standard of choosing songs depends on how I feel that day.
[Rain] : My standard depends on how much I love the song.
[KCM] : I think it’s a sort of ‘Feel’.
[Rain] : Your pronunciation is unclear. Feel is pronounced ‘fi:l’, not ‘wi:l’ which means ‘wheel’. (laughs) After I recorded songs before my enlistment, some of sound record producers used to advise me about my singing style by pronouncing the word ‘feel’ incorrectly, which was hilarious. [KCM] : ‘The Song I’d Like To Share’ segment is comprised of three parts : In the first part of the segment, Rain and KCM’s songs will play, in the second part, the songs Rain and KCM would like to share will play, and in the third part, the songs listeners would like to share will play.

[Rain] : I feel fine. I’m just faithful to my duties as a soldier.
[KCM] : I’m always happy with 600,000 soldiers during morale-boosting concerts.
[Rain] : The correct number of our soldiers is 650,000, not 600,000. (laughs)

[KCM] : Panic’s ‘Left-Handed People’ is recommended. The more I listen to it, the more I like it. ‘Ju Hyun’, which song do you recommend? (laughs)
[Rain] : I’m ‘Ji Hoon’, not ‘Ju Hyun’. (laughs) (Rain imitates actor ‘Ju Hyun’) (laughs) Pop group ‘Roo’Ra’s ‘Wingless Angel’ is recommended. It was very popular when I was a schoolchild. There was a plagiarism row about ‘Wingless Angel’, but it had been covered up. Regardless, it is one of my favorite songs.

I like ‘Sung Shi Kyung’s ‘I Wish I Could’. I think his voice makes people’s mind peaceful, and he is women’s kind of man.

-Talk About Music With ‘Kim Tae Wan’-
[Rain] ; Welcome, ‘Kim Tae Wan’. I’ve heard you are busy preparing for your album. Hope it will hit the jackpot.
[Kim Tae Wan] : Thank you very much, great to be here.
[Rain] ; Hope we’ll get the chance to see you again even after your album becomes a hit. (laughs)
[Kim Tae Wan] : Oh, absolutely. (laughs)
[Rain] ; How have you been?
[Kim Tae Wan] : I’ve enjoyed my stay.
[KCM] : His smile (Kim Tae Wan’s) is as pure and innocent as that of a child, which makes my mind peaceful.
[Rain] : That’s his own style he has. (laughs) He has beatific smiles.
[Rain] : ‘Kim Tae Wan’, Where do you get the inspiration to write your lyrics and compositions from your albums or other singers’ albums where you participate as a composer?
[Kim Tae Wan] : I usually draw inspiration from my daily life, and I pick up what people are saying.

[KCM] : Who is the star of the day?
[Kim Tae Wan] : It’s Chris Brown who is good at singing and dancing.
[KCM] : ‘Kim Tae Wan’s remark seems to refer to Rain.
[Rain] : (Grudgingly) I thinks so. (laughs) (It means “Chris Browns’ ability is not a circumstance to mine”)
[Kim Tae Wan] : I think Rain reluctantly agrees with what KCM says. (laughs)
[Rain] : I didn’t mean that. (laughs) Chris Brown came to sudden prominence in the entertainment world in 2005~6. He was enjoying a tremendous popularity while his song ‘Run It!’ was making a big hit. He’s gained explosive popularity for his stunning and charismatic stage presence, but I think he hasn’t outdone Usher yet although he’s been anxious to outdo him (Usher) in everything.
[Kim Tae Wan] : I think Usher is superior to Chris Brown in flyness. {Haha, I’m digging that word. Flyyyyyness. 🙂 – S. ^@@^}
[Rain] : How can you describe Chris Brown?
[Kim Tae Wan] : Chris Brown’s real name is ‘Christopher Maurice Brown’, and was born on 5 May 1989 in a small town in Virginia. His mother worked at a child care service, and his father was a prison guard. Chris Brown was very interested in hip-hop and soul music when he was a child, and Michael Jackson and Usher were role models for him. Chris Brown used to participate in local singing contests, practicing singing in a church.
His mother ranked his abilities very high after she saw him mimicking Usher well. But his parents divorced while he was dreaming of becoming a singer, and his mom remarried not long after the divorce but he saw his foster father hitting his mom.
When Chris Brown {was working at a gas station at 13 years old}, he was asked to be a singer from Hit Mission Records, one of local music labels in Virginia. Meanwhile, Chris Brown was introduced to ‘Tina Davis’, the vice-president of Def Jam Recordings, and she fixed her eyes on Chris Brown, but she was let go after a while.
Since she was fired, she’s worked as the manager of Chris Brown by his request. ‘Tina Davis’ brought together Chris and ‘Jive Records’, and then he released his debut single ‘Run It!’.
[Rain] : ‘Scott Storch’ participated in the song ‘Run It!’ as a composer. Personally, ‘Scott Storch’ is one of my favorite composers. He was a rising composer in the music world at that time. Usher might bow down when he saw Chris bursting onto the music scene. (laughs)

[Rain]: This is just a thing I wanted. (laughs) There is my song which corresponds to my expectation. It’s ‘Touch ya’ composed by ‘Kim Tae Wan’. I like ‘Touch ya’ a lot because there is nothing better than this to liven it up during my concert. (laughs) Please continue.
[Kim Tae Wan] : Chris Brown signed with ‘Jive Records’ in 2004, and he was recognized for his musical talent by participating in a singer’s album as a composer. His song came second on the Billboard chart while he was selling more than 300 million albums all around the world.
After that, Chris Brown’s ‘Yo’, ‘Gimme That’, and ‘Say Goodbye’ were also mega hits. His first concert tour called ‘The Up Close And Personal Tour’ on 17 August 2006 to promote his album, was a great success. I think if Rain or KCM was there, he might have done better.
[KCM] : I think the style of my singing is similar to that of Chris Brown’s.
[Rain]: If KCM replaces his singing method ‘Ballad’ by R&B, being helped by ‘Kim Tae Wan’, it could be a breakthrough for him (KCM). As for me, I had a peculiar aptitude for breaking and hip-hop dance and I wasn’t good at jazz dancing, but I’ve come to quite freely express myself with my dance and my dancing ability has improved remarkably since I learned how to jazz dance on advice from JYP and my ‘It’s Raining’ was the result.
Anyway, what I think is KCM needs a change, and if the two of KCM and ‘Kim Tae Wan’ join forces, there would be nothing they can’t do.
[Kim Tae Wan] : I depend on your co-operation. (to KCM)

[Rain] : I think most of Chris Brown’s songs are incredibly similar.
[Kim Tae Wan] : A nude picture of Chris Brown which showed him holding of a part of the body after showering, was posted on a website called ‘world star hip-hop.com’ that covers Hollywood gossip on 4 March 2011.
[Rain] : A part of the body is misleading. (laughs) Please be more specific. (laughs) {ROFL! ^@@^}
[Kim Tae Wan] : The picture showed him holding his arm after showering. (laughs) His acceptance of the news was stoical, and even he granted an interview with the website and said in the interview as, ‘I am definitely satisfied with my body’.
[Rain] : When I went to a public bath and had a bath, I saw a man taking pictures of me showering. I remonstrated with him, but he wasn’t listening. I thought he was the owner of the bath, but I found out later he was a paparazzo. I was so angry and deleted the pictures taken by him, but I wish those pictures of me showering could have spread on various Internet portals. (laughs) {LMAO! You so crazy, Boo. 😛 – S. ^@@^}
Especially, the pictures of my hips turned out. (laughs) There’s nothing to write home about myself, but I’m proud to say I have awesome hips. (laughs) If I’m in the same situation as Chris, I think I’ll choose the way he did. {Oh contraire, dear heart. When it comes to your hips, there is plenty for us all to write home about. And we do. 😉 – S. ^@@^}
[Kim Tae Wan] : Chris Brown has worked as an actor and singer and composer in many different fields. For the opening acts of Beyonce’s concert, he was on board, and his second album sold over 1.9 million copies. When he was on a roll while releasing his album ‘Graffiti’ in 2008, he assaulted his girlfriend Rihanna and caused her serious injuries at that time when he was under a lot of stress. In addition, he was involved in a case of violence during his concert in Times Square.
[Rain] : What’s the age difference between Chris and Rihanna?
[Kim Tae Wan] : He is almost about as old as she is, and they started dating in 2005.
[Rain] : I think they are enjoying great popularity these days.
[Kim Tae Wan] : Chris Brown fought with rapper ‘Drake’s crew in a night club called ‘WIP’ located in Manhattan’s SoHo district on 14 June 2012. ‘Drake’s crew threw a glass bottle to Chris Brown there and the bottle smashed. As the glass bottle shards flew everywhere, basketball player ‘Tony Parker’ belonging to ‘San Antonio Spurs’ team, who was sitting near Chris, got a splinter of glass in his eye and almost went blind. Even the concert crew from Australia got several stitches in their heads.

[Kim Tae Wan] : Fuego participated in the song as a composer. Fuego used to be an obscure composer, but it was ‘Turn Up The Music’ that catapulted him to superstar status and secured his place in music history.
[KCM] : I think it’s really great for Rain to work with Fuego.
[Rain] : Anyone who wants to work with me is welcome, but what I have to do first is to leave the army. (laughs) First I’d like to work with KCM. (laughs)

[Kim Tae Wan] : Chris Brown was very active and full of vitality, releasing his album ‘Graffiti’ inspired by ‘Prince’ and ‘Michael Jackson’. When Chris Brown’s ‘I Can Transform Ya’ came 20th on the Billboard album chart after that, he was in low spirits and complained about his music label via Twitter, so his label watched his back.
Chris Brown made his film debut in 2010 by playing a supporting role in Takers.His fourth album ‘Fame’ was released on 18 March 2011, and ‘Yeah 3x’ and ‘Look At Me Now’ in the album were popular. And, he tried making a difference by doing electronic music ‘Beautiful People’.

[Kim Tae Wan] : After Chris Brown and Rihanna made friends with each other in 2005, their friendship developed into a romance in 2008. After breaking up with Rihanna, Chris Brown dated with a model called ‘Karrueche Tran’ in 2011 and felt at peace, but in 2012 paparazzi started giving about Chris Brown that he would date with Rihanna again but he strongly denied the fact.
In October 2012, Chris Brown announced he cut loose with ‘Karrueche Tran’, and he decided to date with Rihanna again. After what happened, Chris Brown confessed via You Tube, saying ‘Is it possible to love two women? I think it’s possible’.
[Rain] : I think we (Chris Brown and I ) are going to be good friends. (laughs) On second thought, his conduct is, to say the least, a bit peculiar.
[Kim Tae Wan] : Chris Brown kept getting into trouble like this.
Recently, he is constantly challenging himself, working as not only a singer of adventurous spirit, but also as a designer, artist, music video director, CEO of his own company, etc. and he has become an all-around entertainer. He has used his talents since he founded his own company in 2007, and his agency ‘Jive Records’ were turned over to RCA Records and he exercised his rights there in 2011.
[Rain] : Chris Brown must be a great singer. I think Usher, Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Justin Timberlake, Omaion, etc. are following Michael Jackson. Especially, I know Omarion personally, but recently things seem to turn out contrary to his hopes. I hope everything works out for him, and I think he needs a difference.

Chris Brown albums are great and I know cause my brother brought them for me on my birthday and christmas. I only have one problem with Chris is he needs to stop being a follower and be a leader..go back to the way you were when you first started out ( I know your getting older) but still act like you got some SENSE ( I know I know….Stephe…lol, its have some sense).
Patrice..I’m pretty sure Jihoon would know how to conduct himself if he were to becoome good friends with Chris and he would be a great influence on Chris but as far of having 2 women on the side now…mmmhmmm…..

Chris is really talented, which is why I’m so hard on him. I hate seeing talent wasted because you’re just too busy showing everybody how hard you are. How ridiculous. Grow up and be a man, AND keep your fists to yourself. Understand that once you threw the first punch, you owned that for LIFE. People are never going to let you forget it, and that’s YOUR fault, not theirs.

Lotus, girl, I hear the pain in your comments. I really do. And I empathize.
Like Stephe said, Chris Brown is extremely talented. He really is. Honestly, I was a real fan of that boy’s right up until the night he assaulted Rihanna. I was even almost ready to give him the benefit of the doubt again as he continued to show remorse for some time afterward. But then, last year, there was his weird, combative interview with Robin Roberts on Good Morning America, his subsequent meltdown in his hotel room, and the infamous tweet, where he said, “I’m so over people bring this past s**t up!! Yet we praise Charlie Sheen and other celebs for there bullsh*t [sic].” (I don’t know about the rest of you, but I have NEVER praised Charlie Sheen for his disgusting behavior. Am I missing something somewhere?)
Why the hell it surprises him so much that people keep bringing up the assault, even years later, I haven’t a clue. I mean, doesn’t everyone have to live with the mistakes they make in life? I know I do. So, why the hell shouldn’t Chris Brown?
The answer is he should. Everyone is responsible for his own actions, both the good AND the bad. Yes, even Chris Brown. In fact, I would venture to say that if you are going to be a celebrity (which means that somewhere someone is looking up to you as their role model), then you should make an extra effort to keep yourself in check. And you should do that not because people are watching, but because it’s the RIGHT THING TO DO.
Oh, and THEN Chris got that damned creepy tattoo on his neck that looks exactly like a battered woman’s face, you know the one that he insists is a replica of a Day of the Dead sugar skull? Yeah. Right. Whatever. Seriously, the more I hear about him the more I think the boy has some deep issues. Which is really sad, because, like we said, he’s so damned talented.

Thanks Terri, it was very bad. As far as Charlie Sheen I don’t know that much about what all he did but wasn’t he just hurting himself with drugs? I’ve never looked up to an entertainer I just either like their work or not. I’m sorry but I don’t feel its right for people to put so much on them like that. They are just human like us they just happen to be more so in the spotlight. Also Chris brown is very talented and I did like him at one point but he didn’t just hit Rihanna (which is wrong also) he beat the living hell out that girl. And no woman can beat a man up period. It just put me back in a corner as a child screaming, I’m sorry I can’t look at or do I want to hear his voice. It just reminds me of my moms boyfriend begging for forgiveness until he did it again. I’m sorry guys this is the one thing I’m completely passionate about. We all have our triggers.

Charlie and his former wife (or latest ex-wife) were Both volatile drug users and there were reports of his abuse of her too, even holding a knife to her throat as he choked her on their bed. So Charlie’s abuse wasn’t just of himself. Only explaining cause the question was asked.

I’m not a fan of his, I know of him and it sounds pretty messed up what he did and yes he should be held accountable for his actions. Anyone who physically touches another to injure in anyway rather they be man or woman its just wrong! Verbal abuse is hard too. I do know a lot about abuse I lived it I had it served to me on a platter for much of my childhood up until I could get away when I was 18. I was told I had mental problems and I’d be pregnant by the time I was 16, Ha! Shame on them . But so many people are drug users of some sort, which is why I don’t do drugs or drink. And I’m not a goody two shoes but I do have a lot of pride and self respect. Look we as human beings are valiable but like with Psy and even big bang etc… We at times say dumb *ss stuff when at the time may have seemed like a good idea. One of my favorite sayings sh*t happens! I feel sorry for people that hurt themselves but atleast its not someone else. And I’ve shared way to much info into my life…..smh…………

I think this is what bothers me. Young black males have a tough enough row to hoe when they try to just live an everyday life. Having said that. Even though I HATE…hate what Chris did to Rihanna, I just can’t bring myself to continuously hate the boy. Has he done some dumb sh__t……yes….resoundingly! However, I don’t think he stopped being human, which makes me feel for the small child within him that is SO incredibly lost Still. Maybe I’m wrong to give a damn, but if I can make myself look a little further past the taint that covers him. It bothers me how this young black male can’t seem to get out from under the weight. What should he do that would satisfy? This is why the boy continues to “act out.” Everyone says grow up and be a man but society is not really interested in him doing or being either because the point keeps being driven home over and over that Chris…..you f__cked up. So where’s the incentive to change?
Stephe, you’re right….he will have to live with what he did for the rest of his life. He caused it….no doubt, but the entire situation makes me sad now more than it makes me angry. After all the very girl he knocked the sh__t out of has taken him back, so what else is there left for anybody to say. She’s lost her damned self. I wouldn’t take him back, but she has so……… From his perspective, I can’t imagine being reminded everyday I breathe of something I did wrong. So what should society do with people like Chris? I’m genuinely at a loss. People start in the entertainment business at such tender young ages. They come from broken and dsyfunctional homes and never get to deal with their sh__t before they become famous, then that runaway “fame train” takes over. I know I’m in the minority, but I just don’t hate the boy. I feel sorry for the boy. Yes, the young crazy fool that says stupid stuff on twitter. Let me make it clear and plain so nobody misunderstands me. I will reiterate I Do Not condone what he did by ANY means to Rihanna and I feel the two would be better off apart for BOTH their sakes.

Hahaha I know that last part was for me, thanks. But I don’t listen to her either anymore. If he never does it again more power to them. But I will never understand a women taking back a man that beat the crap out of them. As far as what to do with him? To loaded even for me, but there’s always going to be people that forgive, even the worst of people get forgiveness but as Stephe said yes he should be reminded of it poor black, white, yellow, or red I don’t give a damn, maybe if your reminded you won’t do it again. Unfortunately people like him do get another chance. BiA girl you know I love you but unless you’ve lived some things or seen them you just have no glue. Every person in my life that’s on me about him finely stopped nagging me to forgive the brotha…..SMDH not one of them lived in abuse. Ya know.

@Lotus, have I lived in an abusive life situation personally?…no Have I “seen some things” in my lifetime?….yes. So, I get it. Do I buy Chris’ music? no, Was I a fan? not necessarily, but feel he is a talented young man. Am I a Rihanna fan? no, but her music is everywhere so I can’t help but listen to her songs. Do I forgive him? it’s not for me to forgive or not, he didn’t hit me. The girl he hit certainly has or seemingly so.
What should society do with Chris? Well from where I sit there are only three choices (1) either let him be (2) lock him up throw away the key (3) kill him. That’s it. Nobody wants to say these things out loud but those are the choices. No, people just keep taunting his ass and he keeps falling into the same quick sand pit. People expect him to straighten up and fly right, but when has he ever learned to do that? He sure as hell won’t learn it now? He’s already proven that his track record with handling stress filled emotional situations is shaky at best, yet the public keeps taunting the “rattler” expecting him not to strike, but he does.
Stephe I hear your point as well. Do better because you should want to for yourself. I would agree. It’s just sad and a waste like you said. If I were him I would retire from public life at this point because the public really doesn’t want to see him. They have no problem seeing his panty-less girlfriend on Instagram, but him not so much.

I actually think that he has the potential (and the time) to turn everything around. That’s what I’m watching for, because if nothing else, the kid is a fighter.

And I totally agree. I think he is smart, talented and knows what he should do. All he has to do is do it.
Maybe he will find himself a good male role model somewhere who can advise him. It has happened before.

He continues to act out because he’s immature and still doesn’t get it (how he’s screwing himself). And it doesn’t matter what society says, to heck with society — he should change for himself. That’s why anybody should do any changing. That’s just my honest opinion.

Who said anything about hating him? I didn’t say I hated him. I don’t think people in the Media hate him either. I think they just like to push his buttons because he’s so easy and they love ratings.
He’s 23 years old. That’s still very young. I think we should give him some time and see if he grows into a better person. Who knows? There’s a good chance that may still happen someday.

Nobody said they hated him on Cloud USA. I used the word to make my point. I will say this, people (generally speaking) don’t keep taunting somebody because they “love” you so much. Yeah, he gives in to the anger and I wish he wouldn’t but he does. He won’t learn anything different because he’s still in the same “take no prisoners” business surrounded by a bunch of hangers on and yes people. The only way he’ll change is to completely remove himself from the business, but his ego will never let him do that. So, as has been said already……………epic waste.

You know this one really bothered me so I had to go back and re-read the show again. JiHoon I will say I think you were saying hang out with Chris in a joking way. Because yes he Chris is very peculiar. I took it to the left real fast because of reason I have said and seriously no one is perfect and I always try to look for the good in people but beating women is something I can’t and never will forgive. And as much as I’m strickley dickley I would never be blinded by a big (Johnson) if I got hit. Homey don’t play that!

Yeah, he was definitely joking. LOL! He even laughed after he said it. It seemed to me that he was reacting more to what C-Luv said right before that, about how Chris’ love life really landed him in hot water in the public eye. JiHoon’s response inferred, Oh hell yeah, been there, know how that feels, we could be best friends when it comes to being in the news because of a relationship.
JiHoon and Chris might end up business acquaintances, but I doubt they’re ever hanging buddies. JiHoon will be more interested in chllin’ with grown folks and the people who offer stability, IMHO.

He makes all those outragious statements…pisses me off how he disrespected gay people. The nerve he has . Also it pisses me off how all those singers want to collabe with him.
