Hey, everyone, please keep in mind… The Consolatory Train program is going on hiatus because it usually does when the holidays come around. This is a normal thing.
Rain isn’t having to bow out because his back is any worse. No. He gets to take better care of his bad back and get better treatment now that the program is temporarily OVER. That’s what he was saying.

ME TOO ….i am happy to know he finally get those day off and it last final performance too honestly i scare a bit about his Health he state on one performance & FM saying he have Health Problem right?? i so curious what kind condition he have i just assume it just a hernia disc…which I hope just a minor one. is that why he decided NOT to have surgery instead took that 6Month long treatment who know actually crossing my finger it small course of this only

Hi, Elfyn. 🙂 So far, looks like JiHoon will not be performing at that time. He just said the other day that the Consolatory Train on the 4th was his final performance for this year.
But sometimes things change, so we’ll see.

If I could hug Rain I would I’m so RIDICULOUSLY happy he is taking a break. When I saw the line up for Dec 4 I was actually shocked he was performing. But I thought oh well if he wants to keep performing I’ll support him. But after I saw the videos today I cringed. I knew then if I saw his name on a Thursday’s lineup I was just going to just shake my head and sigh. Rain is a beautiful man and keeping balance in all things is important for anybody…him included. His health has to be TOP priority right now. Since all he is doing is waiting out his time in the military, might as well use that time to his benefit and rest himself and take care of his health. Once he gets out in July he will need good health to get back to his life as a performer. And the man works at break neck speed. I was wondering what would be my inspiration for my next poem to him. I sure got it today.

I agree Rain has turned some of those soldiers into fanboys! When I started watching his military performances I thought to myself “Rain is used to performing in front of a crowd of women and here he is in front of all these men. I wonder how this is going to work out.” And I watched him over time learn to adjust his performance and figure out how to do a mini-concert for male soldiers. He quickly made fans of those soldiers. Out of curiosity I looked at consolatory train performances from 2011 before Rain was in the army. The difference in the crowd from then to now is AMAZING. Rain really brought a new hyped energy to the crowd. I also noticed that nobody performed in uniform……until I started seeing Rain perform in uniform……which I don’t think was his choice. I wander what’s behind that shift.

TRUE THAT…. I AGREED me too it inspire me even more by watching him each performance he have showering in ARMY giving it all to his fan -girl & Fan bot ekekekek this guy not just know to please his fans but apparently he want them to have fun and excited along his performance from Beginning to End it wrote to see his concert and LIVE STAGE of Rain performance it totally a pay off no just to say he amazing but he even give a treat as well… that what i love about so much ….NOW you….!! wander what’s behind that shift. i have same estimate too it seem like he have been training and working here i wondering how he felt through all this shift but he STRONG person that why he excel all his work … for fact he seem to learn a lot in army and i guess he must have hang with it by now also i glad he did make good friend with those co-solider they show him respect and love do u every time i see this Men yell for his name and sing Love Song & Hip Song it just make me happy and smile u can tell they loving the spend time training bahahahahah LOL …. 🙂 ONE WORD …. i want GIVE him a BIG hug i think RAIN need from us so bad how i can do one day

I totally agree with you. Rain could use some serious hugs right about now. The man is out of his element being in the military but at least he was performing so I believed that helped a lot. He was still able to see some of his Clouds and hear those screams (which I know he loves). And at least give a good show even if for just two songs. But now he can’t do that because of his health condition. Talk about a blow to his morale. Just makes me want to wrap one arm around his neck, the other around his waist, pull him down to me a bit (I’m 5’5″) and give him one of those good body hugs.

Well of course he’s sad. He’s away from home, away from family and friends, away from his Clouds, worked like a government mule, all but forced to be in the military while his career languishes on the side and life passes him by. He’s pretty much going to be SAD until he gets out of there.
Honestly, I don’t understand why fans expect him to look happy in there. Ever! Just sayin’. What is that about. He doesn’t want to BE there.

Whenever Rain talks about his military service he talks about it like it’s some type of sentence. He asks fellow soldiers “When do you get out?” Like they in jail. What saddens me is his inability to communicate with his fans independently. I think he uses those talks between songs to communicate with his fans indirectly. I REALLY felt that way when I read his announcement in today’s translation. Personally, I felt he wanted to tell his fans he would not be performing for awhile and that talk between songs was the only outlet he had for communicating what was going on with him. I felt that announcement was really more for the fans than the soldiers.

You know being famous has got to be hell in some ways. It must be torture having to always “put on a face” just so there won’t be talk, but….there always seems to be talk. I think all the “fan talk/speculation” is probably one thing that stresses him out more, because it’s not like he can get on the phone and call everybody (all your fans) up and say…..”Hey…look here, I know you saw me on the net the other day looking beat down. Well, they are working my @ss like a horse. I’m tired as hell.”
I’m sure anybody (not just Rain) would feel put upon if they were forced (basically) to make their life come to a screeching halt to become an active duty military person. If you’re a type A personality, that would probably drive you even more nuts. He’s getting what I call “short timers disease” (sorta like spring fever). He sees the light at the end of that short tunnel, it’s getting close now so he’s antsy as hell. It’s like watching the clock at work and damn near dying at 3:00 pm when you have to sit til 5:00 pm (I know this feeling….Well). *SMILES*…………………………………..

I saw these videos today during lunch time at work. The clarity of these videos is so good. I am always amazed, Rain performs in Korea and I am able to watch his performance on my phone same day (sort of) in my corner of the world…just mind boggling. Thank you to the fans that share so many of these videos, never get tired of watching them. Wishing Rain great health and much success with his treatments.

SHE i hope so stephe i just worry about him he do so much and he have this Health Problem remember he mention 9on FM took break 6 Month i guess the doctor RECOMMENDED him stay away for industry and making any move like performance and all that ^Month break i just hope that 6 MONTH something can be very GOOD TREATMENT or else i have to BLAME the one who get Rain this seriously i am NOT to happy about this and i hope is NOTHING SERIOUS at all O.o … NO wondering he always LOOK SAD not to mention that one the fancam of him he shredding his tear maybe that is the reason why he not to happy but could speak it out not he finally know he last performance he told his co-solider and fans what going his Health i hurt of reading from Rain
