Yes, CJE’s sales team in Korea has put R2B on YesAsia for that area (Region 3), but we will not be promoting that version, not when versions targeted specifically for North America (Region 1) are coming from CJE in the USA. Rain’s DVD sales here are just as important as they are over there, if not more so. It is imperative that he benefits from us putting our money and our time into his U.S. numbers so that his projects continue to be distributed here, the way we’ve been asking for years. As soon as we get the info coming to us on the North American DVD release, rest assured we will relay it to you. If you cannot wait (?) or don’t mind having your R2B money count in Asia, just make sure you have the proper equipment to play a Region 3 DVD and do your thang.
R2B: Return to Base / Return To Base / Soar Into The Sun / Black Eagle has touched down on tarmacs in South Korea, the U.S.A. and Canada, and is on its way around the world. It has premiered in Vietnam, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, at the London Korean Film Festival in England and Scotland, and in Indonesia and in Taiwan. Japan is set for December 1, this Saturday. There is no telling where else this bird is going to land, so everyone be on the lookout!

SONG OF THE WEEK: “My Groove”, Track 7 on Rain’s Vol. 3 album It’s Raining (2004). This song is a catchy collaboration between Rain (vocals), Lim Jung-Hee (vocals), and Epik High (rapping). Every time I hear Epik High say, “Like Napoleon, we Bonaparte (read: born to par-taaay)”, I just roll. That has got to be one of the coolest lyrics in rap.

Yep, she’s right. But at least there’s some progress. The more we learn about each other, the more we become human. Of course, there’s always people who don’t like change and will keep thinking whatever they want. There’s nothin to do there but let them learn it the hard way, thru living. I still think that Rain can make it in this side of the ocean but it’s up to him and the choices he make. 🙂

I agree. I think Bi can make it here and I also think he is this generation’s Bruce Lee (even though I “bite” my tongue to say it). I don’t like making those types of comparisons, but Bruce is/was the only bonafide Asian sex symbol, movie idol that I know of. Does anybody know of someone else?
I’m not just talking action hero, I’m talking SEXY (men want to be like him and ladies want to “you know what” to him). Bruce was it. I think Bi is that man for this time period. He’s just gotta keep it cool. That’s all.

Yes it was. You know, I’m just gonna put it out there. Republicans still can’t believe they got that @ss spanked in the election, so right about now they are not feeling anything or anyone that is “tinted.” They are set to give Susan Rice hell as the President seeks her appointment to Secretary of State. I can hear the collective …..”Oh Heeell no!” She’d be 4th in line to run the country if something ever happens to President Obama, the VP and the Speaker. That thought has some people scared sh__tless (which also gives me a little chuckle inside).
Hubby is a cyclist (by hobby….he’s out riding right now) and he noticed that right after the President got re-elected, drivers in certain areas of town weren’t as “friendly” as they had been. Patience was shorter, cars were coming a little closer (as he was riding) a little more than usual. It’s not anything that anyone is saying out loud but the over all feeling is quite palpable, at least here it is. I think it will level off soon though. I told him please be careful brother and keep your I.D. and cell on you at ALL times. ** SIGH **
