IMPORTANT FYI: » JiHoon and KCM will be returning to the 2012 EXPO Yeosu this weekend to perform in concert, so someone will be filling in for them on their military radio show Speeding Instinct, on Friends FM. He mentioned this at the end of Sunday’s show: [Rain/translation] : “Since KCM and I are scheduled to perform at (Yeosu Expo) next weekend, we won’t host this show then, but other hosts will cover for us. Please tune in to the show even on the day.”
As you recall, last time, the guys did both of the Speeding shows and the Yeosu appearance that weekend and were being shuttled back and forth all that exhausting distance like madmen. So… looks like the Brass is easing up a bit. Matter of fact, it’s looked that way for the past month, I’d say. Wonder why that is.:)

I played this beautiful oldie to death for AGES wherever I went in my car, and never thought in a million years that he would end up choosing to perform it live on stage during his Best Show Korea tour before going into the army. I don’t know that he’s ever sang it anywhere before… ? I just about cried. Talk about thrilled!

Go Team USA!….boy these Olympics have got me hyped up. The swimming last night….China spanked that behind. I’m like daaammn China. Then Ryan Lochte brought it back home, Phelps was STUNNED…heck I was stunned. Damn dude….”Wha’ happened?” Little blasian Lia Neal getting a bronze with the 4×100 freestyle relay team. So Cool! This morning women’s cycling….that finish was Awesome! I’m so stoked this year for some reason. Well back to watching…………

Watching the Olympics in their entirety (as best we can) is like tradition with us. I’m enjoying them waaaay more than I should be right now, haha.
Very happy for Lochte (what a swimmer, did you see his training regimen??), and content to sit back and see what Phelps is going to do with the remainder of the races. It is about time for him to start easing off, after being on top for ten years, but I don’t think he’s completely finished yet. We will see.
All the teeny tiny Asian women snatching and jerking all that weight over their heads has got me in awe. They are something else…

Yeah, I’m waiting and watching Phelps too. Something tells me he’s not done. His reaction to not even qualifying in the race against Lochte….he was stunned, he couldn’t really articulate his thought process when the reporters go through whole…..”so what was your strategy” spiel. (SMILES) How about Gabby Douglas being one of top two that gets to compete in the All-Around gymnastics finals….Love that….you go my little “chocolate drop!”
I was also blown away by the little 100 lb. Asian women lifting well over 200 lbs…..like twice their own body weight. Honey, I can barely lift my own boobs in the morning (not really but…) so I was quite impressed with them.

That would be awesome!! I’ve being exploring Kdramas and kpop groups just to keep myself in “the kzone” while Baby Boy is in the military. Kekekeke Let me tell you that I’m enjoying the ride. My list of favorite kpop groups keeps growing each day. There are so many groups and they’re soo good that there’s no way for me to get bored! Also, I’ve being watching some amazing kdramas and getting to know other korean actors. They are really talented, no matter the age, they give awesome performances. I would love to share my two cents about these groups or dramas I’m enjoying so much!! 😀

they had 4 years for the committee to prepare for this…….and they STILL messed up…..you didn’t know this had been going on since July 27, 1953……..WTH? “Also in 2000, North and South Korean athletes marched together at the opening ceremony of the Sydney Olympics under the unified Korea flag, sparking a standing ovation. But with relations deteriorating in the years since, each country insists on a separate flag” (Huffington Post). Hopefully the opening ceremony will go well tonight…… As my friends’ daughter used to say when she was a little girl, “they need to pay TATENTION!(attention)”

You know, I want to say I remember seeing them march in together that year. I like the Olympics and always try to watch the opening and closing ceremonies. I just read an unsubstantiated report where he mailed a psychiatrist all of his plans detailed in a notebook that sat UNOPENED in the mail room of the shrink’s office for a WEEK. Boy, talk about an epic FAIL when it comes to mail room clerks. 😦

I agree, but you know it makes me wonder. Even if the psychiatrist opened the mail and read it, what next? I guess contact authorities, but it’s not like in that Tom Cruise movie The Minority Report where you can arrest people for “pre-crime”….you know. So, what could they do? Also, this guy was Sooo calculating. Where is the line of “crazy” drawn. He plotted, planned, thought out Every single detail. He KNEW what he was doing.
It’s hard trying to put rational thought on something this horrific and bizarre.

Well, if it was HIS shrink, who had a nice thick file on him that gave the authorities all the reason in the world to take it seriously, there would have at least been enough to do a search and seizure or at least watch the guy. If it was to any old shrink who didn’t know him from Adam, yeah… probably not.
I remember when I worked for an insurance company downtown, I got a call from a longtime check recipient who was highly pissed that his check had been delayed because of the Thanksgiving holiday. Instead of blaming the post office for being closed, he blamed us because we were just “out to get him”, and he let us know that he was getting in his truck and coming over the state line to kill himself in our parking lot after taking as many of us with him as he could. When we called the authorities just to report it, they freaked because there was a file somewhere on him. He hadn’t committed any crimes yet, but they knew he was capable of it and advised us that he meant business. Our whole office was under siege and under guard by the cops for a month. A cop met me at my car and walked me to my car every day. I’d never been so scared in my life. When they were relatively sure he wasn’t leaving SC, they backed off but kept watching him for a while. Our reception area and lower windows were replaced with bulletproof glass, and then it was pretty much over.
To this day, I’m so grateful to the people who jumped in and helped us “just in case”, because that fool could have made good. I don’t think he was crazy, I think he was a poster child for Anger Management and that when he saw he was being watched, he backed down.
Just like I don’t think Colorado dude is coo-coo either. Cold and calculating and detail-oriented does not an insanity plea make. Try sociopath on for size. JMHO.

Ooo….your ordeal gives me chills. I never went through anything like that, but I used to work for a government office in the past and we had our share of “crazies” mainly over the phone. However, one lady did come in and refused to leave until her issue was resolved. She sat on the floor by the front door practically all day. However, our building had government cops on the premises so she got “escorted” out by days end. Our office also dealt with money issues (fair labor practices) type of situations. People can be s-c-a-r-y when they wallow in their “stuff” for too long.
I also don’t believe dude is crazy in the (I just snapped) sense. His crime was just way to meticulous and thought out. He can’t now turn around and play the babbling simpleton. Babbling simpletons don’t rig booby traps with precision and then create the “perfect” scenario for local cops to respond to so they can end up getting caught in that trap. He ain’t That kind of crazy…..he’s crazy true enough, but not that kind.

I’m old school and when it comes to kids being kids, my folks would have been like family business is just that family business. Some things you keep your mouth shut about. Now if you are seriously being physically abused by family or anyone, then Yes, absolutely you shout it out to whoever will listen until someone comes to your aid. However, issues like settling wills, who owns what property, etc. should be contained within your family. Paris has spunk, I give her that…BUT she is making what was probably an already intense situation among family members worse by INVITING the public in and letting strangers offer their opinions about her family’s personal issues. You’re not an adult yet little girl and calling your family out on twitter proves it. What she’s gonna find is if she keeps talking her little rear end just may end up somewhere she doesn’t want to be. Was the family plotting and scheming? Maybe, maybe not. Are the executors of MJ’s estate legit or shysty? Maybe, maybe not. The truth will only be revealed in time. I do however feel like Paris (one the hand) is being a typical know-it-all 14 year old.
I remember being 14, like it was yesterday as a matter of fact. I also remember one Sunday morning in particular when I decided it was a good idea to talk back to/sass my mother. I know all my “old school raised” Cloud sisters KNOW how that scenario ended for me. So, Paris I would say chill with the twitter rants. If the adults around you are doing wrong things, they will be held accountable in the end.

I don’t want to speak disparagingly of the deceased, but it’s apparent that MJ trusted his mother implicitly. However, he should have given a second thought to her age when he appointed her legal guardian. I’m sure she was getting on in years even when he drew up the paperwork in his will. Now, who the hell knows what’s going on really with those kids. Who’s in their ear, telling them whatever? This whole family turning on family is not a good look. The one I would like to eventually hear from is Janet.

And the will dang thats a whole nother thang, when money’s in play that kind of money people lose their ever loving minds. That’s going to be interesting to see what has happen to the money cause their saying the executors have been miss handling the money. Yes, exactly. I trust my mom completely too…so I do get why he appointed her. He probably Never envisioned she would actually have to take legal guardianship anyway. So sad. The reason I’d like to hear from Janet is because, everybody keeps saying the family is trying to grab at MJ’s money, But baby sis has her own money and lots of it. She also has a Middle Eastern boyfriend (at this present time) who’s a billionaire, just to put icing on That cake. Janet ain’t the Jackson who needs MJ’s money, yet she’s involved in the fray. Maybe if anyone can give some clarity/insight, publicly it’s her. I’m with you Lotus. Auntie Janet is my age and when you are a woman of a certain age, no 14 year old gets to disrespect you to your face….period. I know there are some people who feel certain disciplinary actions break a child’s spirit, but I say children need to be children. It’s a sad, sad state of affairs when kids these days feel they have a right to get all up in an adult’s face. They (the kid) in effect run the household because parents fear having the authorities come to their home. I say……No M’am!
To this day, I can not even Fathom getting up in my parents face like that. The two times I did talk back (once to dad and once to mom). My parents Effectively….shut that “ish” down baby. The consensus was “you don’t run nothing here missy” and believe me, I still get chills thinking about it. (SMILES)
In my ever-so humble opinion, If you’re a kid who feels grown enough to run a household, then you’re grown enough to go to work, buy your own house and do just that. Go for the gusto….Run it baby….and don’t come back “crying” to mom/dad/auntie/uncle when it gets tough, cause IT WILL. When those monthly bills start whipping your @ss, the car breaks down unexpectedly, the house gets flooded, the yard needs cutting, the trees need trimming, the fence is broke and needs to be repaired, a pipe burst…gotta call the plumber, the Orkin man needs to be called (and that’s the short list)……….. then you’ll see.

Lotus, Ms. Katherine read a prepared statement on the news this morning with 3 of her kids with her. Now, Prince is releasing his tweets saying daddy MJ warned him about certain people and grandma was lied to. This whole situation is Sad, Sad, Sad. To watch a family COMPLETELY disintergrate. The public is cheering these kids on is not helping either. It’s easy to manipulate public opinion when the eyes of the world are watching you and you know it. Stories like this are rarely one sided. There’s enough blame to go round I’m thinking. I do know that MJ, even on his good days, would not have tolerated all this public “airing” of the family’s dirty laundry. Even when the Jacksons did fight….rarely if ever did you see or hear anything like this actually going public. Twitter can be thanked for that. I’m sad for this troubled family right now. Just an awful state of affairs.
What I think is the family wanted to remove the executors of the will. They probably wanted to get Ms. Katherine away to discuss the situation and their next moves and/or maybe she actually was being stressed as well. After all, she is 82. Their mistake in this debacle was not telling the kids at least something of the grandma’s whereabouts. This is why they started tweeting their butts off. The tweets brought attention, caused a public ruckus and the family now has to backtrack to save face and it’s not working. Old school Berry Gordy and people of that ilk wouldn’t have let this kind of publicity happen. I’m afraid this family is getting to a point of no return. If it’s about the money truly then MJ should have set up a trust for his kids’ college educations and gave the rest to a nature reserve or something and called it a day. So sad…………………….

Jesus!! One of the reasons we leaved USA was because I was affraid for my girls to go to school there and end up loosing them at the hands of a lunatic. But guess what? In Puerto Rico nowadays we’re having some disturbing situations too. Not at that level but still, we don’t feel as safe as I would like to be. Of course that wasn’t the only reason, we returned because we left family behind and wanted to see our children grow in our island but the thing is that you’re not safe anywhere. That’s why you should live like is your last day, share the good moments and live life to the fullest. By the way, I was watching 49 days. Boy, what a DRAMA! That writer throwed the ball way way out of the park!! Wish someday I can write like that!! AMAZING!!! 😀

Oh my goodness I miss him so much!! I miss these conversations he used to have with us. Rain is so at ease with his fans, I mean, is like we’re in his house and he’s talking to his most beloved friends! It doesn’t matter that there are a hundred or a thousand fans in there, you feel like he’s talking to you! Is amazing! I LMAO when he sneer to those girls! He’s like “If you’re gonna sing get your act together!!” Lol!!! You gotta love him! 😀
