SONG OF THE WEEK: “11 Days”, Track 5 off of Rain’s Vol. 3 album It’s Raining (2004). In this live 3rd album showcase performance back in the day, either Rain was legitimately hoarse or he’d been drinking straight liquor for a week because when it came to this song, his whiskey voice was ON POINT. I mean, wow, he took me all the way back to my parents’ old Wilson Pickett stuff, all in the Midnight Hour and such. You go, baby boy!

Hello ladies. Just a quick note. Back from vacation….had a blast, tired as heck. Went through temperature changes, time zone changes, came back with a head cold but HEY….wouldn’t change a thing. I’ll upload pics on my FB when I rest up a bit. Anyway, missed the blog….will check in again later. (SMILES)

Just wanted to drop this off to be read, once you do You’ll understand why I did. Normally I wouldn’t put I’m hopping this gets passed on and on. Our people need more understanding and forgiveness for each other in a major way.
