Probably just a precaution. As I understand it, folks do the mask thing if they’re going to a highly crowded area (because let’s face it, you don’t know what people are spewing, stuff travels at least 60 feet in a direction and I know grown people right now who don’t cover their mouths when they cough) and/or if they have the sniffles or a cold themselves and don’t want to spread their germs. Lord knows Rain doesn’t need to be catching anything right now…
It’s a pretty common practice over there.

I’m glad he’s using a mask.
I had to travel across country for work last year and the first time I didn’t take precautions like that and ended up with a cold virus. It was awful, but at least I am not a singer and so I don’t have to worry about colds affecting anything other than me dragging myself around being pitiful. LOL.
The second time I traveled a few weeks later I was a lot smarter about it and was just fine. Think about being crammed into a plane all the time with strangers carrying all sorts of germs your body may not be used to. Ugh. I think masks should be a lot more common over here in the U.S. myself.
