[fan cams][images][Eng trans] Rain at the Patriotic Love Concert in Yongin City.

Cloud cover by: Stephe, Managing Editor ^@@^

Yesterday, May 30, 2012. OMG, it’s like he’s on a BEST Show tour of Asia or Korea again. Non-stop. He’s fulfilling his soldier duties and guerrilla training and such on top of all this. Sheesh! *eyeballing DEMA like a mad mama* :/ Yeah, yeah, I know you’re having fun, JiHoon. Oh, all right. *cuttin the fussin* *for now* 🙂

3:25~3:37

Hello to all you here. Loyalty!

Nice to meet you.

3:39~4:00

This is pfc ‘Jung Ji Hoon’ (Rain) attached to Defense Agency for Public Information Services. Thank you so much for enjoying our show so far, and I am happy that I have the opportunity to meet all you and to do a concert.

4:01~4:32

What’s the meaning of this word? (The banner which a soldier held in his hand, said “I placed 3,000 chairs on the ground.”)

Pardon me? You placed 3,000 chairs on the ground? You are a soldier and it is your job to do so. (laughs) It was your duty as a soldier. (laughs) I do what I have to do as this is a job for me to do. (the sound of the applause)

4:34~4:38

I’m just kidding. (laughs) I want to thank you so much for placing 3,000 chairs on the ground today. (laughs)

4:41

Civilians and my comrades, thank you for coming today. (laughs) (Since this word “civilians” are not common in casual talks, the crowd is laughing)

4:55~5:20

Thank you, the commander-in-chief of the 3rd field army headquarters. But I wonder if he is here or not (laughs) I know I have little opportunity to meet him. Ah! He is there! (laughs) As might be expected, he is such a nice man. (laughs)

5:21~5:49

Dear commander, while you’re here, why don’t you give your inferiors a two days and one night holiday? (a storm of applause) (When the commander turned thumbs up Rain’s opinion, there was a storm of applause) I didn’t know he would accommodate me. I should have asked him to give them a three days and two night holiday. (laughs) Anyway, thank you, commander.

5:54~6:20

I’m glad our performance was finished in giving a good account of itself.

I was worried about the military service before my enlistment, but my adaption well to life in the army has approached the level of a superhuman (laughs), as the same could be said of other soldiers. I feel much better now that I accepted the situation and was adapting myself to it.

6:24~6:42

During military concerts, I’ve been [equipped and clothed ^@@^] in casual clothes because my military uniform [gets ^@@^] thoroughly soaked with sweat. So I hope military authorities will pay for the casual clothes. (laughs) (When soldiers shouted, “I really want to wear casual clothes.”) Please wear those clothes when you are on vacation. (laughs)

6:44~6:54

Anyway, I’d like to thank the commander for arranging this wonderful occasion today, and please give the military band a big hand. (a storm of applause)

6:57~7:06

Also, I’m grateful for the support of those who helped all the performers including me get here.

Now I have to leave the stage… [The crowd sorely missing him already ^@@^]

7:12~7:27

Well, I shouldn’t leave the stage, right?” (Yeah!!)

But, sadly there are no more songs prepared by me. (encore!)

Now what am I going to do?  (encore!)

That’s too bad.  (encore!)

7:32~7:42

All right if you insist.

I’ll rehearse for a week. Let’s meet each other here then. (laughs)

Try to understand my side of things, please.

7:44~

Anyway, thank you for coming here, and thanks for inviting me.

I hope you are always healthy and happy.

I should go now. Thank you.

Loyalty!

  2. Guerilla training!! O.O WOW!! Is at this moments that I soo want to be a bird and fly to Korea to see him in action!! Darnation but I’m still human! Lol!! I know he’s doing well, you can see it in his face clearly!! He’s a multi talented man and I’m happy he’s occupied doing multiple things. That’s the way to keep him happy! Also, I’m glad they are letting him perform cuz JiHoon lives for that, that’s his air and being all that time without performing must have being hell to him! The fact that they are letting him perform comfortably in a casual way is liberating too, specially when we all know that he loves fashion! Now he’s happy as a fish in the sea! 😀
