…You take your father to the Atlanta Veterans’ Administration Medical Center to get the sooped-up, high powered hearing aids that he has been needing for so very long, and halfway through the appointment, when he’s been fitted and the cute little blonde doctor is conducting tests on them, your father suddenly says in all seriousness:
“Stephe. You should tell her about RAIN.”
Dr. Sarah looks curious. Mortified, you pretend that you didn’t hear him. But he doesn’t let the subject drop. Moments later, he interjects again.
“You really should. Tell her about RAIN.”
“I will, Daddy. Just not this moment. She needs to concentrate on what she’s doing right now?”
Dr. Sarah grins at him, intrigued.
Later on, I did give her a really quick rundown on our Magic Feet, in the hallway. I might even slip a hot picture of him in the Thank You card we’ll be sending her. Heh.

I had my moment “you know you’re a cloud” when my older brother, who claims that he dislike Rain -yeah I know he likes two or three Rain’s songs, even if he don’t wants to admitted it u_u! haha xD !!- suddenly without any reason, stops what he’s doing and says to me ” why aren’t you seeing Rain?” and my reaction was like O_O! haha

haha is pretty obvious that I spend a lot of my free time watching Rain’s videos, I can’t avoid it, that men is too charming u.u xD… At my beginnings like a cloud, my brother was intrigued, he didn’t understand why I just didn’t stop to watch that korean guy, and why even he was listening to his songs all day, because I was not paying attetion to his claims haha! the reason is that I was totally tired of the hearing aids-yeah the problems when you don’t have your computer at your room =/ – but the thing is that we always had liked almost the same music, so that wasn’t a problem, well until now ;)…but the good part is that he finally accepted that his sister is a total cloud irremediably, to the point to ask me “why aren’t you watching Rain =O”? haha love my brother and I know some part of him really likes Rain’s song “but i love you” xD

Ahhh, I’m all about Rain n MBLAQ really. I like Hideaki Takizawa and On/Off which are J-Pop….but my iPhone stays mainly on Rain and MBLAQ…JOOOONNNN!

Not all kpop by any means but just a few I really like.

Besides Rain that is my favorite and numero uno, #1, I love Mblaq, Big Bang, Shinee, Super Junior, 2NE1, My Name, Exo M, Exo K, Kim Hyun Joong, Kim Bum, Girls Generation, 2PM, SS501, Ukiss and 2AM. The second actor I love the most is Lee Min Ho, third is Kim Bum and four is Kim Hyun Joong. ^.^

I adore SHINee, TVXQ, and B.A.P. I also really like Aziatix, Dynamic Duo, Drunken Tiger JK, Yoon Mi Rae, A.I., and Epik High. Insooni is also high on my list. (I’m pretty sure I don’t have to say that JiHoon is my numero uno. I mean just look around my media blog. Sort of speaks for itself LOL!!)

had to check my iPod—-here goes in alpha order—AI (great duet with my GURL Chaka Khan), Aziatix, Bobby Kim, Brown Eyed Soul, Drunken Tiger/Lady T (Yoon Mi Rae), Epik High, EXO-K, JYP’s new song, MBLAQ, One Way (great Anthony Hamilton cover of Charlene and D’Angelo’s Brown Sugar), SHINEE, Sunzoo, TVXQ. Right now, I am lovin’ rapper Verbal Jint because he is just TOO cool and his flow is so smooth. I initially liked Verbal Jint’s song in Flower Shop Ramen Shop, “You Offended Me”….LOL—so I did a bit of internet prowling and found he had some great beats (even a song called Want You that has the swingout/steppers beat) But of course, nobody and I mean NOBODY doesn’t it better than the MAN himself….the hardest working man on the Korean peninsula, known for the golden zipper and the “chocolate” abs……..the BOSS…..Rain!

Of course I do.
Let’s see. Some of my favorites (after Rain, of course–who obviously is my MOST favorite) are: SHINee (my 2nd favorite!), Tiger JK/Drunken Tiger (my 3rd favorite), Brown Eyes, BigBang, CNBlue, and 4Minute. There are more, but I’ll stop there. I’m enamored with B.A.P right now. Watching them carefully. I am also watching M.I.B too. I’m very interested in seeing what they can do as time goes by. I also adore Insooni. What an incredible singer she is.
Oh, and I’m a huge supporter of MBLAQ. Because they were produced and mentored by Rain, I’ve kept a close watch on those boys, and I’m quite fond of them. I think they are going to only get better with time and maturity.
I also like Aziatix and Far East Movement too, but technically, they are American groups, and not K-Pop groups. But they still include Korean-American artistes, so I’m gonna put ’em on my list anyway, just cause. :-}
I promise I DO like some straight up American groups too. I really do. Just not most of the ones they play on the radio all of the time. :-}

Oh Stephe I laughed so hard reading your post!!! Gurl you are hilarious and your father is soo cute!! I would loved to see Sarah’s face when you started to talk about Rain!! Lol!! My recent moment is every time I hear a kpop group in my radio these days. Big Bang is ON in a major way with Fantastic Baby and Shinee with Sherlock and Ukiss too! All I think when I hear these groups is “Yes!! Someday I’m gonna hear Rain singing in my radio!!! That day is coming soon!!” Oh, is a marvelous thing to hear kpop in the radio! I thought that day was far, far away and is here!! I get so excited when I hear kpop and my girls go “meh” Lol!!! But now, kpop isn’t a figment of my imagination, is real and people don’t see it as strange as before. My girls even like Big Bang! May 2013 please come soon!! 😀

LOL, I had one of those moments when I was coming back home on Saturday from an all day scrapbooking for soldiers activity. I took the daughter of my roommate’s “Melanie” who is 16 y. o. now and a Panamenian neighbor and good friend ” Mrs. Gloria” who is on her 60’s. Well it was around 8:30 pm. I was driving and I had my iPhone hook up to the radio so suddenly a Rain’s song came up. Melanie and myself we threw a stared to each other we started to giggling since for both of us it has been a long time since we listened one of his song. Since I had someone new in the car I told Mrs. Gloria, ” Ohhhh Mrs. Gloria by the way this is a Korean song, and Melanie adds “He is Rain”. And then Mrs. Gloria said “do you still like that guy?” . In my mind I was like, what in the world moment. I guess what she meant that since I am now a married woman Rain will be history. Then I said ” he is my man after my husband of course” and Melanie then adds ” You knew Rain before your husband so Rain should be first. I just started laughing hilariously.

@ Rain4flowers, really I loveeee sailor moon. I watched the whole serie when I was in high school in Pma. Yes long time ago. It was so funny!!!! It helped a lot to go through those difficult time during my adolescence. It brings back good memories 😉

You Know You’re A Cloud When……..your Hubby refers to all Asians and mostly Asian males, ANY Asian male we see as “your people”……(SMILES). I’m Black but Asians are now “my people”…..(SMILES)

My Rain moment was this weekend when one of my cousins made me go around and show others at the wedding my tattoo of Rain’s name on the back of my neck. Reaction was damn you must like him alot. (I was out of town for this wedding with my family). thanks cousins. lmbo
