(You know me. I was practically dying to title this post Rain Lei’d in Hawai’i in 2009. But it is a joke that’s kind of old. And I didn’t want pal Geri—who lei’d him at minute marker 0:45—coming all the way to Atlanta to pop me upside the head. LOL!)

I watched this twice. I have never seen him so close to his fans like this and so relaxed. Girl did that sister get a hug and kiss from Rain? So cool. The other lady he hugged looked like she wasn’t gonna let him go. Just sitting wishing that was me. Thanks for sharing.

He was going through such a hard time then, and he was so brokenhearted. To get that kind of reception in the face of what was going on (the Hawaii concert stop ruined and canceled because of the negligence of the people in charge, being sued over the use of his own name and his North American tour canceled, being thrown under the bus by the press for “being a prima donna” and “purposely” disappointing his fans, being sued for the concert cancelation and fraud and crap when he didn’t cancel a damn thing, etc. etc.)… for the Hawaiian Cloud to be ecstatic to see him and welcome him so warmly (when he was there to testify in court) really touched him to the core at a time when he felt so emotionally sick.
I really, REALLY love them for that. That’s what I call support.

Hahaha! Yeah, Geri was gonna get her some and try to keep it if she could. LOL! (the other lady) She’s such a sweetie though, and so dedicated, he got hugged by a good’un when it came to her, for sure.

I didn’t realize all the things going on in his life at this time. He did look so comfortable and happy. I am so glad his fans, no matter where his is at or what is going on in his life can make him feel the LOVE. Thanks Hawaiian fans, we love that you love what we love. (smiles)

I think that’s probably why this airport scene is completely different from any other one. His emotions at the time. And the surprise of seeing such loving fans in the midst of legal woes. Aww. A whole heap of tickets were sold for that concert in Hawaii, and he had to think the fans wanted his head on a platter. Fans can be mean.

Woah I just can’t believe he would be friendly like this in airport. hic so jealous with Hawaiian Cloud. he seemed to greet every fans. With us, he’s so cold
