This picture is incredible…the man is simply delicious! He is #1 on my desert island list. Thanks so much Stephe for sharing this again.

Kimmy I’m a 54 year young eomma, too and he can visit me, also. LOL! It would be great if he wrote a book of his life…maybe someday he will, if he ever has time.

If I brought him home…OMG! My parents would think I kidnapped him! And then once that was cleared up…they would wonder why he came with me! I’d love to take him home….ANY DAY! ….my parents might embarrass me tho…they are a little strange! #wonderwhereIgotitfrom

I have plenty of stories about Rain and mommy, but this is my favourite and I wanna share it with y´all Clouds ☁. Plz give me 3 minutes and red this.

Since my utter and irrevocable love for Rain is everything but a secret for all members of my family, my mom is who understands the best, ´cause she´s got a singer idol herself. So, one day, I was humming With-U while folding laundry -with my usual foolish smile when it comes to Bi- I didn´t noticed mommy was around. Suddenly:
“Are you thinking about your friend?” _mommy asked.
“Huh?” _ I stared.
“…I can´t understand a word but I´m sure what he´s telling you when singing that song to you is lovely” _ mommy continued.
“What are you talking about, mom?” _ I asked as I blinked like 5 times in a second.
“I´m talking about your friend” _ mommy said.
“What ´friend´ ?” _ I replied.
“Shrane !” _She said loud with the spanish accent of hers.
I stared for the longest 7 seconds and she stared back until finally with a calmed voice I asked her: “Who-the-hell-is-Shrane?”
“Shrane, Shrane! The cute boy you die for, the singer, your friend!!” _ She shouted at me.
I was like: ” Rain?”
“Uh, how´s it again?… Rrr-ain?” _ She asked softly.

I was lughing so much but she continued trying to pronounce his name correctly several times. She doesn´t speak English, we are Spanish native speakers, it´s hard for her. Cute! But, still I had to ask her why she refered to Rain as “your friend” as if we were close. And she gave me this :
“Well, you like him a lot, you follow his life, you´re interested in everything that he does, you smile when he smiles, you cry when he cries, you support his career, you spend hooooours of your life looking at what he´s up to. And besides, you say he cares a lot about his fans, that he loves them lots, he appreciates your love and support, he is aware of all that huge love you girls give him. He cares about you all. You are included in that, silly!. Isn´t that being loved back? Isn´t that how love and friendship works?. For I have a “friend” myself too. I like all his songs, I sing all of them, I think about him, I admire him as an artist and as a person. I am his friend and he is my friend, even if we know each other personally or not.

This was the explanation she gave me, and I totaly bought it. I kept it, I embrace it. I loved my mom for conceiving that way this Rain bond I have. I could only say “I guess you´re right, mommy. Yeah” as she left my room smiling. But I must confess that I remained in silence for a few minutes, and I wept.

After a few more minutes I heard this beloved singer of hers playing in the kitchen, and she singing along with him.
