According to this entry from CJ Entertainment’s American Film Market 2011 newsletter last year, Rain’s upcoming blockbuster movie 비상 [飛上]: 태양가까이 (pronounced bisang [bisang]: taeyang-gakkai) a.k.a. Soar Into The Sun, was prepped and ready for a 13- minute promotional screening at the eight-day annual AFM in Santa Monica, California back in November. Other films on the docket with Soar were My Way, Tarbosaurus, Sector 7, Hindsight, and Quick.

Yes, the theatrical release is shown as Spring 2012, so either spring or summer is probably a shoe-in. Although if they’re smart, they’ll wait a bit more so that they miss the “summer rush” (please learn something from the Ninja Assassin/Twilight debacle, for pete’s sake!).^@@^

i could NOT WAIT TO SEE this Movie soon and the trailer are tell me it GOOD i just hope this will bring Rain to best CAPTURE image and another massive of USA as well well, it just thought hat they should see this and expose Rain more esp HOLLYWOOD ….!!
anyway just though i am also happy that Rain give us another collection of his Movie OH YEAH~!! 🙂

Wow! 🙂 Great news to hear that there is so much intrest here in the U. S.! Soar Into The Sun really does sound like it will be agood movie, I truly hope that it is a big success. I think that it’s about time RAIN is recognized in the states for all talent he has! So happy to hear this news! YAY! 😀 ~pamela

That second synopsis actually sounds quite good! Dog-fights, check. Dramatic tension between colleagues, check. Falling in love, check. (Screech!) Reconnaissance mission fail, check. Search and rescue mission, check.
