The second account makes me glad that I decided to write to a few recruits in Rain’s barracks as well as to him, even without their names. Every soldier deserves a letter of thanks and encouragement, no matter who they are. Very glad this guy finally got his mail! ^@@^

Today is November 5th.
Our clerks and jerks is on vacation, so one (senior) soldier is working on military affairs alone.
Since more than 10,000 letters (of encouragement) only to Rain have poured in (from all over the country), the letter I receive, pushed back so far, has finally arrived.

Lol of course it had to be food! That is one subject that is definitely near and dear to his heart, that’s for sure.
Poor other soldiers with their one or two letters. 10k is a lot and I’m sure they were like wth…
I wonder just how hard it was for him to adjust to being around so many people he doesn’t know, to not being in the lap of luxury, to having so many people either thinking he’s so above them or assuming he’s a jerk because he’s famous. Would be so interesting to know all the inside business, wouldn’t it??

Yes, it would. (SMILES) If I had to guess, he probably adjusted to the not being in luxury “easier” than the being around people he doesn’t know. He’s been there done that (not being in luxury) so he remembers, I’m sure. But, him not talking to strangers much….I can totally see. He doesn’t have his “human shields” to keep the nuisances away. It’s just him and Them. So he’s got to sit back an assess who he might be able to trust (even a little bit) and who he needs to steer clear from. He’s got lots of entertainment “secrets” floating around in his head and people just waiting to “pick” them out, that’s IF he starts talking. So there’s probably a Lot of assessing going back and forth, between him and everybody else. I don’t talk much around people I don’t know either, so I get it. (SMILES)

Yep, I certainly get it. Scoping out the new territory and the atmosphere towards him and getting in a new comfort zone was essential FIRST before opening his mouth for even a second, to avoid having to do damage control , and so that he’d know how to carry himself from that point on, to both give and get respect. If nothing else, JiHoon is amazingly astute when it comes to stuff like that.
And like you said, the others were definitely feeling him out too. You know their heads were spinning and they were wondering What the HELL do I say to him? What if he’s a sh*thead?? What if none of us gets along? Talk about a LONG two months! LOL

oh you know Rain esp when it food he speak for his own word and he will ask for more rain love to eat and it must be his maintain for his body as mnatter fact he work and he eat to make him motive and we all know rain love to eat at more then 3 time a meal in am day HECK YEAH! rain speak for his stomach he is hungry give him more rice ya… poor rain i can see his emotionally that

Heck, this time I’m not feeling sorry for Bi. I feel for the poor little recruits who gotta wait behind all of Bi’s mail. At this point, Bi has been told “I love you” and “I miss you” at least 10,000 times. (SMILES) You’re right Stephe, I think I might start writing to the other “youngins” too. I was waiting for more information on the letter writing campaign, but I never saw anything else. Poor babies!

I am curious if there is a way once the new address is known (if it changes) if we could share the letter love with the others he is training with? I am with you that he is getting our love and I think it would be nice if we could share it around some. I am not really sure how to go about doing that so if anyone has any ideas I think that would be an awesome way to show support for Bi and encourage those around him. 😀 Although it does make me laugh about the food!! I wonder if he has gotten a chocolate fix lately! 😀

We are definitely looking into that, sharing the letter love. We’ve already been asking around about it overseas… As soon as we know more and come up with something, we’ll post it. Ideas anyone else might have are certainly welcome. Glad to know you think it a worthy idea! 🙂

Oh poor baby!! He’s starving!! I saw in Twitter that he wanted Hana to prepare meals for him when she goes to visit at the camp. I think he miss homemade food. Aww!! You know his metabolism must be really high and with all that training his body probably need extra food. Sorry ladies, forget about being sexy, our man only dreams about food so start cooking!! LoL!!!

How funny, yes – when it comes to food, our Baby Boy doesn’t fool around. 🙂
Also the comment about the 10,000 letters pouring in to JiHoon, and the other Recruit finally receiving his (Yep, they are in the midst of a Star)….
I must say too, I’m glad the message is loud and clear to JiHoon, that he is missed.
