Well, well well! Looks like several of the mysterious pictures and quickie CF filming shots we’ve seen over the past few months, such as this one, and such as this one, and of course this one, have had to do with Rain’s fresh deal with Coupang.
South Korean social commerce firm Coupang (쿠팡) is a massive buying service (one of Korea’s largest) that offers just about anything a consumer would want to purchase, but at amazingly exclusive discounts daily. This includes foods, clothing, and merchandise galore, even festival and event seating, you name it. Rain is joining actress Kim Tae Hee, singer/actor Kim HyunJoong, and actress Lee NaYoung (“JinYi”, The Fugitive: Plan B) in Coupang’s star spokesperson file.

Clever, sneaky Rain. Keeping very quiet about it yet doing all kinds of new projects in order to take care of home, keep his face out there, and provide us with fresh new things to look at even while he’s doing his military duty. And this is only the tip of the iceberg, everyone. There are things still to come that we haven’t even thought about in quite a while. JiHoon is a little too smart and way too resourceful to just leave us and the world completely without him for two years.
