If you haven’t already, please join the Yellow Ribbon for Rain Brigade on your Facebook or Twitter, and help us support Rain during his mandatory military service! He needs to know how much his entire fan base throughout the world is backing him even when he isn’t tirelessly performing for us. He needs to know that we aren’t going anywhere. That kind of thing does not need to be on his mind while he’s dealing with military equipment and maneuvering through the life of a soldier.
He has given to us for ten years, listened to our requests and complaints, and always done his best to make us happy. Now it’s OUR turn to make HIM happy. Keep spreading the word!

Eight weeks of basic training should have JiHoon finishing up with that in mid-December, a few weeks after the U.S. Thanksgiving holiday… Well, my friends, seeing as we’re all still rubbed rather raw from watching him enlist only a few hours ago, I will simply leave you with this thought while we recover together:
Rain is Eternal. Where clouds STAY gathered, rain will always come. It is inevitable. 🙂

Well damn, President Obama and First Lady Michelle had a State Dinner with the South Korean President and First Lady. It makes me remember when Bi was in New York and he wanted to meet Michelle Obama at the TIME 100 gala.

I am waiting for that package too mainly cuz the design Rain did for us but I am aware that is gonna take some time to be delivered cuz all the activities The Cloud got with Rain’s shows and enlistment. Our sisters in Korea must be feeling like a truck run over them repeatedly after all the excitement of Rain’s shows and the pain of seeing him go. I understand them cuz I feel like that and I wasn’t there! So I will wait patiently for them to regain their wits and find the strength to get on with The Cloud activities.

You receive a package in return when you join as a new member at The Cloud in Korea, Rain’s main fan club. In the package they send your Official Cloud ID card, a tshirt, stickers and other goodies. Some of us at Cloud USA joined this year to The Cloud so if you joined too then you will receive this package.

Yes, there were membership dues that we had to pay to join Rain’s official 8th Cloud (in Korea) , during the membership drives that happened back in March and in May this past spring. The drive is over now and they’re not taking any more applications until the next fan club term comes around (usually a year later, sometimes more than a year, depending on circumstances). But not everyone joined up, some fans were content only registering as users of Rain’s official Cloud Fan Site (which is free), and it really doesn’t matter to us collectively if our cloud icons are gray or blue, we’re all clouds together.
The membership packets to be mailed out will be for 8th Cloud paid-up members, yes.

They are talking about the gift packages from Rain’s official fan club in Korea. Many of us signed up as “official” Clouds, joining his “official” fan club in Korea (The Cloud), and they are planning to send us “membership” packages. That’s what they are talking about.

I don’t think anyone has received anything yet, and that’s because of all of Rain’s back to back activities in Korea that started this past summer and just didn’t stop. They did put out notices earlier to make sure everyone’s mailing address was correct, and he recently drew some fun designs for some of the goody bag stuff… and now that Rain has enlisted, they’ll probably be able to take a breather from coordinating fan seating and banners and his gifts and special videos and be able to finally send everybody their goodies.

I really think we would have had goodies by now, if there hadn’t been all the stuff that went along with knowing JiHoon was enlisting this year but not knowing WHEN. Time just sort of got away from them…

I don’t mind waiting, but The Cloud staff is not familiar with the “impatient Westerner” when it comes to money, so….. I personally forgot about it, until recently when we saw pics of him drawing the cutesy pic. I agree, now that he’s in the service I really, really want the pic He drew really bad. I just think if they can concentrate on the member packs now, then they should because people will start to complain, cause they’ve spent money. I don’t get too worked up about things like that, as long as I know the reasons behind the delay and their reasonable.

For some reason I’m thinking that the enlistment day got baby bi by surprised. He was suppose to finish his new album and looks like he wasn’t able to wrap it up on time. I think must of us would have felt more relief having new music to listen. So for now his new movie will have to be enough.

Ebony Nicole, I totally agree with you on the time frame. I have said many times he will really only be gone the length of time it takes to shoot and release a Hollywood movie. We’ve all seen movie trailers for movies that won’t be shown until at least a year and a half from the time the trailer runs. Then it seems like only a couple months later the movie is being shown.
However, I have found myself feeling emotional at Seeing Him Be emotionally affected by the love his fans are showing him. No, I haven’t actually shed tears, but I do feel the emotional HEAVINESS of the moment. I am also quite surprised at myself, as I have NEVER felt this type of emotional “load” emanate from ANY celeb I have followed in the past. So I asked out loud what was it about Bi, that made me feel that way? I KNOW the usual answers, but he’s a special case I think and only God knows what type of sugar HE “sprinkled” him with. (SMILES)

i agreed on this to yup 2 yrs is nothing i can let it goes it will FLY………… he will give it indeed duty for 2 yrs and his country shall served him a good paming when he return clean and fresh up him with a SEXY HOT new rain after all ahahahah 🙂
