For folks not familiar with that Southern Black saying, let me put it this way: What goes around will come back around and bite you in the ass, so let it be a lesson. It’s one thing (and your right) to not like a person. It’s quite another to try to destroy a life with a lie.
They’re lucky Rain was more concerned with clearing his name than with money and didn’t hit them up for even more, which he would have gotten. That says a lot about his character, and people should take note.

The court orders two reporters to pay totaling 50 million won in damages, who manufactured maliciously false news on Rain
Last October, Rain filed a compensation suit against two reporters who manufactured maliciously false news on him.
For this reason, a libel action was being brought against the reporters.
The two reporters reported that Rain defrauded the corporation of over 4.6 billion won, and the report has turned out to be false.
The case was decided in favor of the plaintiff (Rain) on the 13th, and the Seoul Central District Court ordered ‘Kim’ and ‘Yu’ to pay 30 million won and 20 million won in damages, respectively, after it judged they had libeled Rain.

I am glad. It speaks volumes that they weren’t required to pay more. Rain didn’t deserve to have his name dragged through the mud. Yay Rain!!

Honestly. How can anyone doubt his character after he only asked for a mere pittance and OBVIOUSLY only wanted the truth revealed? Even though those reporters meant him great harm, he STILL considered the fact that they were feeding their families on A REPORTER’S SALARY and tried not to take everything out of their families’ mouths.
And people have the audacity to doubt him at every turn. Hmph. To the devil with all of them.

I really happy for Rain cuz he work so hard and these two reporters were irresponsible with their jobs trying to put his name and reputation in danger. I hope they learned the lesson and think twice before taking out a story without getting all the facts. Fighting Baby!!
