Congratulations to South Korea for winning its 2018 Winter Olympics bid!

Having been graced with our own Olympiad (Atlanta, Summer 1996), we send hearty congrats and goodwill to the city of PyeongChang, South Korea, who will host the XXIII Olympic Winter Games. And from what we can see, PyeongChang won by a landslide, in the first round. The bidding began back in 2009, the announcement of the winner came down yesterday, and the partying will continue on today, we are sure.

Good job! We are looking forward to the spectacular showcase they are sure to put together over the next seven years. 한국! 가자!

  2. I am really happy for South Korea cuz they worked hard to have the Winter Games in 2018. Is a great honor but also a great economic boost that will benefit lots of korean people in the area. I am sure that Rain is going to participate in the opening or closing of the games. That’s gonna be cool to see!!
